this is the absolute fastest i have ever refunded a game. environments & the ambient background noise is very nice but everything else is beyond atrocious. Please if youre going to release a table tennis game GET SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS HOW TO PLAY TABLE TENNIS TO TEST IT! it seems like the devs got to the point where they just fudged the numbers enough so they could just pat the ball over the net and it actually went over and they went 'yep close enough'. there was clearly no actual real…

This game looks very nice, probably the best out there in terms of visuals but the actual gameplay is not fun. Sure, there is a learning curve but a lack of play options hurts the game. The developers suggest they will add more to the game over time but this is being sold as a full-release not an Early Access title. The ball physics feel good, maybe a little too weighty, but the hit detection isn't great and the amount of options players have for slice and spin shots is very limited. It just…

After almost 2 hours playing I feel that I'm ready to give a fair review. Pros: -Amazing graphic, great ambient sound. The places you play doesn't feel empty. -Hard AI is really hard. -You can adjust your bat to suit your play style. -Physics is a hit and miss. You CAN do chop albeit quite hard but top spin is impossible. Cons: -As other reviews said, no lefty and no support for Index (the store page doesn't mention Index at all or did they remove after people complained?). Both are non-issue…

Really nice graphics, but that's it. Physics are not good, some of my real life TT moves turned out to the exact opposite result like in real life. Another thing: real TT rackets aren't made of plain wood, the secret incredience is sponge and rubber. This is where a physics engine has to shine. I'll go refund and may check in again later...

I like this game!!! I recently bought an Oculus and I bought some games, this one was in my wish list. Graphics is very good and environment are realistic but also with a typical style. I want to unlock all the paddle skins, lol. Physics is well realized, maybe a little difficult to understand at the beginning but after 5 minutes playing I felt confident with it. I recommend this game for people that loves sports and Ping Pong and looking for a new fun game in VR. :-)

I play table tennis a lot and I think that physics are pretty accurate, but it feels like you need to play the game in a different way than you would in real life. It's hard to spike or get more extreme spins because the game seems to prefer softer movements. The environments are really cool though, with people walking around and ambient sounds so maybe they should've marketed it more as like a relaxing game.

Perfect! That’s the ping pong game that I was looking for! At first it was so funny to see where my shots were catapulted away from my racket 😂😂 But after few minutes I kinda get used to it. I can tell that the game is so realistic, I’m not that pro, but I can pretty well simulate some of the real ball effects that you can do in ping pong. The graphics is amazing cough cough unreal cough engine cough. Just amazing I highly recommend this game if you have a vr and you like ping pong.

At first with the Rift S controller, paddle was slightly uncomfortable but as soon as I found the right rotation and tilt settings I managed to play well. The game is really nice and once you get the hang of it, the feeling is very similar to a real ping pong game.

I was very reluctant to buy this given the reviews, but having played for a few hours I don't see what all the fuss is about. At the beginning I had a bit of trouble playing, but then I spent few seconds tweaking the racket settings and I had no more problems! So once you set properly your racket the physics work just fine. I'm not the most experienced ping pong player so I don't know if it's really true to real life, but I was just looking to have a good time, and that's just what I'm doing.…

So realistic, I suck in real life AND in VR! Beautiful environments, responsive controls, and physics that make you angry because you know it's your own fault you suck, not the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZYey-sGk0Y

It looks pretty and the environments are quite pleasing but that's it. In a table tennis game, the gameplay is the important aspect and this one is lacking in almost every aspect. Something is wacky with physics, even serving is difficult to get right (and I can manage that in competing table tennis games as well as in other games). There is no feel to the racket - it feels wooden, not slightly spongy as it should, spin seems either impossible or unreasonably difficult to get and ball tends to…

English Version: As a Chinese, I want to say that this game has nothing to do with table tennis. If you have played table tennis, do not buy it. The ball is more like a braking bricks game. First of all, I hope that game devs can find a better table tennis room to play real ping pong. The table is not made of sponge, the ball is not made of stone, and the racket is not made of paper. It seems that the calculation of hitting the ball is based on the swing angle change of the tempo before…

Got this despite the reviews about bad physics. Played a few games so far and was able to pick up the game pretty quickly and start beating the easy AIs. I'm not a massive table tennis player so idk how well it maps to the real world especially the tricky shots but it seemed pretty good to me and I enjoyed it. The one major issue was that even though this game has multiplayer, I was never able to find a match. I'm guessing there just aren't enough players for this to work. I didn't see this…

As an avid table tennis player i fell in love with this game, it takes a little time to get into it and at the beginning is really difficult to beat the game correctly, BUT after just a few hours now I'm getting the hang of it, I can beat lvl 2 and play it against lvl 3. I like a good challenge and this game put you to the test! The environments are great and also the physics; this is probably one of the best vr table tennis out there.

really a nice game, intuitive and responsive, also the ai offers a nice challenge. No problem even with the last update. I've been playing there for a couple of hours so I'm having a lot of fun.

Great looking game but terrible physics. It feels like you're hitting the ball with a pillow. I was really looking forward to this game... this is a 100% refund. At the time, there is no Index support.

It's the only ping pong game I have at the moment and I really like it. Physics feel natural to me. Love the different locations, sounds, atmospheres, arcade mode, skins, etc.

The first thing that struck me about VR Ping Pong Pro were the graphics and environments - they are simply stunning. The mini-games are a lot of fun and I'll certainly be playing them a lot more in order to brush up my skills. The customisation is a nice touch and overall I like the feel of VR Ping Pong. In order to progress I'mm really going to have to practise, "Git Gud" I guess!

Honestly I found it being unplayable. Starting from the texts being too blurry and unreadable, to the keys not being mapped properly, finishing with the game being way too "realistic"? I don't know how to explain it, but controlling the racket feels impossible to me. Maybe it's just me, I don't know, but I really couldn't play a match properly. Awesome job on the areas though, very detailed and awesome quality, even with people walking around.

Underrated Ping Pong game. I prefer the game over Eleven Table Tennis. Yes the physics are different. They are a bit more Arcade-Style. But that makes it easier for beginners. And it got some great mini games. Especially the broken glas table. The only downside... Muliplayer is dead. But its still fun playing against the ai... and compared to eleven tennis... being able to win a game in the lowest difficulty settings is an upside for me, as it motivates me to continue playing the game :-)

Played this game for a little and going to refund it. it's terrible. The Graphics look ok/nice for VR experience. The tracking is good up until you really play a game. Since i've played Ping Pong IRL, i know the feeling of how it's supposed to be, But sadly my brain gets confused because the ball doesn't do what I expect it to do with certain motions of my hand. Multiplayer didn't work for me at all. I got the game on 50% discount and tbh, i regret it. This game is clearly in Alpha/Beta/Early…

Okay, first patch came out, gave this game another try. Played about 20 Singleplayer matches. The biggest problem, being the missing left handed mode, has been fixed, but right off the bat, playing the game does not feel like real ping pong. The physics seem off, but I can't put it in words. Compared to other VR ping pong games, the physics in this one are definitely the worst. I have purchased both Eleven: Table Tennis VR and Racket Fury and tested them thoroughly and I can now not get back to…

I like this game better than Eleven. The elitists will talk about realism. I only care about which one is more fun. Eleven is probably easier for people too lazy to learn something new. But this game is more fun. Needs a better single player mode since nobody plays multiplayer.
