60 of 78 · most liked firstI'll update my review once I'm further in, but my thoughts: PROS: The game does have quite an interesting art style, and originaly was an interesting horror title. The music is quite fantastic and atmosphereic. CONS: The character's are absolutely dreadful. The Voice Acting option is half assed, and with the developers losing the vision of the original title, have made furries "an option" rather than part of the story. The first literal 3 hours of the game are alcohol puzzles with little hint…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish that this game would at least have one positive aspect that I could point out, so that I would have a reason to give it a positive review. Sadly, I couldn't identify a single positive feature in this game. Some achievements are bugged and there are some bugs in-game too. The voice acting is extremely annoying and terrible. The storyline isn't engaging at all. Most of the characters are really annoying and you can't possibly sympathise with them. There are no puzzles other than combining…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game looks promising but I can't pass the first Chapter thanks a bug, bad translation, clunky controls, and also, since its release hasn't received a single update, it seems like a abandoned project. I can't recommend this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really bad English Translation that constantly breaks the immersion by confusing you. Characters talk in odd Sentences the whole Time that were most likely translated using Google. 20 Minutes into the Game and there's already one Instance of a Character saying Lines that are supposed to be said by a different Character (Robert asks for help finding an Item, a Question that the Player Character is supposed to ask, in his Voice and in his Textbox) and one Instance of Notes for the Translator…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Introduction Unlucky Seven is a keyboard-only "point-and-click" adventure game from Puzzling Dream and Ultimate Games. It's followed a difficult (unlucky?) path to release, with the original development team abandoning it and a new team picking it up. I think it was originally supposed to be fully released now, but a last-minute decision had it enter Early Access first instead. That's probably a good thing. The game's setting is interesting. It's a science fiction game, with exotic planets and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i had a real hype for this game, i bought it on release but its unplayable due to bugs and bad gameplay. you will probably get stuck in the 1st level if you can manage to get 2nd level maybe you can enjoy the game, some reviews says it has a good story etc. btw game is abandoned by devs, there is no updates or any bugfix.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Actually the developer posted on the forums...that they're currently looking for a developer. - Okay. Still dead so far anyway. Even though it looked promising.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm really enjoying Unlucky Seven so far, but there are a few errors I've encountered right off the bat. I will try to keep this updated. First off, the retro design is done well and in good taste. There's something nostalgic about each scene. The game doesn't waste time getting straight to the point in the opening cutscene, so props. Issues: 'Start' won't start the game 1). The mouse cursor is non existent, which I understand you're going for a keyboard-mouse hybrid control set, but the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring "collect'n'mixshit" type of game with absolutely horrible controller support and controls. Refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In a far off universe, a crew of drunken oddballs is headed to an alcoholics anonymous meeting. They decide to abandon the meeting to go to one of the crew member’s father’s luxurious motel to celebrate her birthday. Their ship is in major need of repairs, by some miracle (or their alcoholic stupor) they manage to make it to the motel. They get settled in and prepare for the celebration. What they don't know is that a dark secret hangs over the motel owner, as the special ingredient to the most…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unlucky Seven is a side view/point and click style adventure game made for Furries, and abandoned by the developer before completing it. I can't stress enough, this is an Abandoned Early Access game that has been taken out of Early Access without being completed. Apparently the original developers bailed and some less reputable developers got their hands on it and "finished" it. The game had some potential to fill the very specific niche of Furries who like point and click adventure games,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The premise seemed cool and I was following it for quite a while. The anthropomorphic characters and retro sci-fi feel looked really promising and unique. The story was... a bit taxing, but in the end it turned out to be somewhat interesting! But after suffering through bugs, awful mechanics, and constant progression blockers, I just can't get into it. The plot is very confusing and alien right off the bat, which is fine in itself, but you have to figure out most things via context clues as…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game, it has some great ideas in the visuals but it was just too much for me to take to make it past Chapter 5.... Controls are keyboard only and clunky, and the characters move at a snail's pace. The voice acting is really bad (a guilty pleasure sometimes) and the dialogue is awkward understandably as the developers do not speak English natively - it looks better than it was though according to the screenshots I've seen! The 'puzzles' are quite basic and take too…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So rough around the edges. Everything in this game feels like a chore instead of fun. Which is a bummer because I think it might have an interesting story to tell but there's so many frustrating things that detract from the narrative. This games problems aren't easy fixes either as the core mechanics, puzzles, scripted events, and even just walking around are all in serious need of improvement (or complete re-base). Right now the game does things I'm sure the developers thought would make…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just... avoid, unless you like bad (not "fun") B movies, w/ scripts that make no sense, and bugs galore. Refunding.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - Bought this game back in 2019 when it was in early access hoping the game would be something great in the near future. Boy was I wrong. Don't do what I did. That was dumb. It always is. The game has since "fully released" as of writing this only no, actually it hasn't. The game has not been updated and sadly I don't think it ever will as the game has had no developer for years now. I guess they just decided to release it as is. If only it wasn't half broken and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I couldn't bring myself to keep playing after the very first room. The first puzzle is slow, boring, aggravating, and unsatisfying, on top of the often mentioned bad translations, and consistent glitches with the dialogue boxes. The game hides your mouse, but still requires you to use it in its main menu, and the regular controls are weird and very sluggishly implemented. I wanted to love this purely from its late 90s 3D era look, but I just couldn't.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot understand what the hell is going on, but I like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Guys, just don't waste your time on this game. It spent 4 hours on it, waiting for something good to happen but no, this game sucks
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →spent the first ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hour trying to figure out how to make a drink for some gator, then imediately after had to figure out how to mix another drink... I'M NOT A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BARTENDER, BUT I DON'T THINK YOU PUT OLIVE OIL AND PEPPER IN A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DRINK. ALSO TWO WHOLE LEMONS AND A WHOLE LIME, ADDED WITH LEMON LIQIOUR?!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a $5.00 game, with a $10.00 price tag, get it on sale, wait for it to release fully.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RUS (ENG below)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I couldn't get past the horrible controls and bugs that prevented me from progressing in the first 10 minutes. Tried pretty much everything to fix the issue to no avail.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Plagued by bug locks, and with no support from developers for years.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game seems promising with a seemingly interesting story.. and it kinda reminds me of the spoof movie "Epic Movie" somehow... but anyway... Although we can see there's a lot of love put into the making of the 1st part of the game... this is by no way, a good and enjoyable game.. at all. The control sucks. You know one of those lightning couple that got married too quickly and gotten into a divorce in the end? I think the dev's story with this game is exactly that... love at first sight,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An adventure story set in space featuring anthropomorphic characters and a nefarious murder plot. The graphics are a unique mix of pixel art and 3D, resulting in a visual treat. The story is entertaining, making use of dark humor and alluded plot lines. Gameplay is fairly simple. It could be a longer game in general, but it's a fun escape from reality for a few hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love it so far. The game has a unique retro graphic style and very... very odd story that is also pretty funny!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The beginning is very promising. Looks like original, interesting pixel game. Let's play more:)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have played this game a couple of times. It's a fun story , some really good humour has an old style game/series feel to it . I HIGHLY recommend leaving the dubbing off as its terrible . Because this game is Early Access there are a few issues . Which at the moment is expected . There are some crashes and sometimes I have been stuck in a walking loop. This can be cured by simple quitting or forcing to End Task with"Cntrl+Alt+Delete".I paid like £7 for this and so far for a bit of fun it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not what I was expecting, let's leave it at that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Remember when this game first got announced and set up for steam green light IndyGo go and The other GoFundMe sites out there. I remember being too late for the kickstarter to even join in on the hike but signed up for the newsletter and some their optional sites that they had out. someone has done a fairly decent job of trying to remove a lot of the original material the game was designed around a JRPG mechanic or so the Little River information we have about the original version of this that…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mind you, this is coming from a furry of 9 years, if you expect the whole "ew furry" angle, grow up. But this game really, really does not feel good to play. The puzzles are mindless, and everyone walks SOOOO SLOW. Also, all of the characters are whiny, annoying, or otherwise flat, and the storytelling just plain old doesn't make sense. The game wouldn't be so painful to play if the developers enabled a run button or implemented a faster walking speed. You know, that thing Resident Evil and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →full of bugs, no more developers at charge, poorly mechanics, but totally worth the story plus furries 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i cant figure out anything in the first level, i quit and went back now im frozen in place, i dont think ill be playing this anytime soon.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad and sluggish Controls, weirdly they decide it would be good if your character turns away from the interaction point even if you have still stuff todo. The "puzzles" I encountered are annoying at best, and the first destiller puzzle has to be done everytime its been used.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really did not grab my attention at all. I'll probably try and play again, and revise my review if needed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite it is only early access by now, It was really worth waiting for this title. I really enjoyed the puzzles at the beginning. Keep it up devs ;) Waiting for more!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game :) cant wait to play full version
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edit for 02/10/2019 Update: A lot has been improved, but there are still so many problems. - A lot of the dubbing doesn't match the written speech. - The main menu option for voices doesn't actually turn on dubbing, you have to do that in the middle of playing the game. - The English grammar has been improved substantially but there are still questionable sentences thrown in. - The character movement is still super janky, even in cutscenes. All my progress from before the update was removed,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice story so far, character are great liked how that you a choose to be Animals or Humans. Graphics are cool. I got the game last night played after of it till 12:30 a.m. I played today and beat it at 3:00 p.m. so it take me 2 days to finished it. 8/10. Hopefully be a sequel soon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unlucky Seven is a boldly unconventional indie adventure that thrives on unpredictability, dark humor, and player-driven storytelling rather than traditional gameplay complexity. Developed by Puzzling Dream and published by SIG Publishing alongside Art Games Studio S.A., the game sets out to tell a strange, often uncomfortable story that blends horror, satire, science fiction, and absurdist comedy into a single narrative package. From the very beginning, it makes clear that it is not interested…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know how it goes, original project promised something, then the game went into development hell, then it changed direction, then publisher problems, yadda yadda yadda. The game itself is quite slow, basically a second rate point and click games with...incredibly weird voice acting, plot and characters. Like, during the latest chapters I was baffled at what was happening on the screen, hella weird.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bad controls, bad UI can't even exit game properly, bad repetitious game design, Mix a drink over and over after the first time it gets old, don't need a fetch quest every few seconds with corny jokes, the bad controls where you can't use analog and need to use the Dpad and even that is bad because you walk so slow and you need to complete a repititious action and walk back and grab the same item you can't grab to making a stupid walk back and forth. Nonsense waste of time. I'm curious where…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →OK.....HEAR ME OUT. Game is buggy as heck, you will probably have to restart chapters OR close and reopen the game at times. HOWEVER, this is an oddity I cannot pass up. The plot is.........insane, the characters are weird with dialogue that at times makes little sense (which to me just added to the wth?! charm), and honestly this is something so out there I appreciate it. If you can accept you will have to deal with bugs, which I did, the bizzaro-ness of the overall game is worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Total health code violation in Roberts cooking show. You just can"t go from cutting the brain in half to dissolve in the boiling water, to preparing the blue boletus with the same knife! In all seriousness this game has good bones, it just needs a whole lot of polishing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's was hard (because of bugs), but I passed to the end. And made a 11 minutes review on this game ... and. I can recomend all of you to support the creators. This one can become a really good game someday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8vqNGO9ZTU
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →== EARLY ACCESS FIRST IMPRESSIONS == . Gameplay is slow and very fiddly thanks to some minor bugbears. For instance when you interact with something the player character will turn away so you need to walk away and walk back, just so you can face it and interact with something again. Annoying when you need to interact with something multiple times for a puzzle . Graphics are unique and not only help the game stand out but can also helps create an unsettling atmosphere . Interesting narrative…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've only made it so far until the game locked up: Two lines of dialog about the can opener were spoken as Robert rather than the robot. After he mentions where to get it, walking directly to the object will cause and unending walking animation. The game seems interesting, I just hope I am able to walk freely after the initial start. Once I restart due to this bug maybe I can begin my review. So far it is grotesque and I can appreciate that aspect. I use an XBox 360 controller and my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Takes for ever to start i press enter left click nothing then after 5 mins it eventually goes to the main menu and i go to options select the graphics i want but then i cant go back ive tried pressing enter esc and the dubbing is really bad some of its loud but most of the time its quite and ive had my volume on full on my laptop.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad glad they added option to be human make the game better
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For me 9/10 - best dialogs and some tough quests to do. Recommended!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good so far! despite some shortcomings Narration is crazy, so the game absorbing. Dialogues are crazy too - a lot of irony and sarcasm. I read in the comments that voiceover isn't good and need change. Luckily, I don't use voiceover. But the graphics and art style are the redeeming thing about this game. worth the money. Im waiting for the full version
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting concept :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately I was only able to finish 3 chapters before I lost patience with all the bugs and game-crashing glitches, but the world building and storytelling in this game is honestly very good, the dialogues are natural, the artstyle is great. The MAJOR issue with this game are bugs and glitches, that make it impossible to procceed with some gameplay/programming features. And there is absolutely no auto-save or checkpoint function, so every time you experience a bug, you have to start a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game felt like a fever dream. I played it a long time ago, but even then I wasn't sure what I even played, what the story was about, what even was going on or what happened at the end... Oh right there was no proper ending, they sold an unfinished game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Review time lies, I played this for 9 hours offline. I like - The artstyle - The puzzles (even though they're the reason it took me 9 hours to beat) - The story concept - The campy horror aspect (about to contradict myself) - The quotable translation I don't like - Having to wiggle back and forth before checking the same object - When characters off-screen talk, sometimes the speech bubble is halfway off-screen, or not visible at all. I have no idea if this was meant to show distance from the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, this is bad. The art style on store page and in the devlogs were so cool, despite mixed reviews, I thought how bad could this be? - UI sometimes doesn't fit the text in English and other translations. The inventory has a problem with the "go back" prompt overlaying one of the item slots. No mouse support and no controller support. Some options in the options menu don't work. Sometimes the dialogue is prescribed to the wrong person. Sometimes the dialogue box is off-screen. - A horrible…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is just... terrible to be honest. The graphics are probably the only redeeming aspect of the game. The game play is VERY sluggish to the point where it feels as if the game is always playing at half speed (a more cynical person would think this is intentional as to prevent the game being completed in under 2 hours) which gives the impression that the characters in use are staggering around drunk though probably apt as the characters are said to be alcoholics. There is also NO…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By far a really great game look forward to next game! Bought on sale for less than $1 but I have to say its worth least $5. Make sure to check options turn on subs, voice, and all. Game could use some minor improvements but the story is well worth it. Have trouble with game follow the guide.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2.5D adventure great music, graphics and character profiles a 3D model with a pixel art texture attached, but the scenery is beautiful sci-fi, suspense, human drama the game progresses by investigating something and using items this game has early access but no noticeable bugs, but some things can't be investigated when trying to play in other languages
