I love you. An absolutely captivating and powerful tale! It flows seamlessly and beautifully, highlighting essential truths about what truly matters in life through themes of regret, loneliness, and misunderstanding. Without giving too much away, I chose the happy ending because Nala deserves a break. Additionally, this game…

unlabelledView post →Regret is the silence between intention and misunderstanding. THE STORY We play as Nala, a woman who's consumed by guilt over her grandfather's death and now undergoing an experimental treatment to recover her lost memories - to find closure and finally forgive herself. During the experiment, she encounters a soul-like entity called The Flower that's trapped with her memories. The only way for both of them to break free is to rewrite the moment everything fell apart.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"This Game Took Me on an Emotional Rollercoaster I Wasn't Expecting" Boy, was I wrong about the "fun" part. As I got deeper, things took a turn. What started as interesting slowly morphed into something heavy. We're talking serious feels – sadness, some pretty dark stuff, regret, and grief. What's i like: The story is the star here. Even though it's heavy with all that sad, traumatic mood, it actually felt kinda new and different, like a fresh take. What's Not So Cool: Sometimes the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have you ever regretted your final moments with someone? Most of us don't know when those final moments are, and when the time comes, it's too late. The story of Undying Flower takes things a bit further and asks, Would you ever forgive yourself for killing someone you love? That's the first question asked when starting the game. We are talking to a girl's head with two flowers on the sides. She asks us questions that we don't have answers to. In fact, we don't even know this person. Who are we…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the concept is cool and unique.. the theme is about family relationship, and it feels close to me.. the first time i play, i have a lot of questions.. but the more i explore, the more i was sucked into the story.. it feels like in story telling, i am not only the reader, but also the teller and the story itself.. the atmosphere and music gives the vibe more thrilling.. still in mid gameplay but overall it is nice experience.. if you like unique style, then this is worth to try
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Undying Flower is an emotionally driven narrative experience that places reflection and symbolism far above traditional gameplay challenge. Developed by Calcatz and published by indie.io, the game positions itself as an introspective journey through memory, guilt, and the difficult process of self-forgiveness. Rather than telling its story through conventional plot progression or exposition, it invites players into a fragmented inner world shaped by trauma, where meaning is conveyed through…

unlabelledView post →This is a game that's attempting to punch above its weight class. The animations seem a little stiff, the music is sometimes awkwardly straightforward, some puzzles have so many options that you become confused on how to express that you understand what's it's asking of you... It shouldn't work. It shouldn't be as good as it is. It's a beautiful game that touches on so many interesting concepts, mechanics, and emotional beats and does so in ways that leave me wanting more. The premise of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →New to this kind of story telling game, The art is great. Love the music.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The music makes me goosebumps at the beginning. It explore the story and psychological perspective by the girl and grandpa behind the case, that is kinda triggering for some reason, and makes you wonder why. Also, it had a narratives that related to loneliness, which may related for nowdays problem, interesting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →@itsapmseymour.bsky.social Hey, just played through Undying Flower, and was surprised to see you as a VA in it! That was a big surprise, especially as that's a game that kinda hit me hard. A good surprise, even if not a lot was said.
unlabelledView post →Finished the game with good ending, and I could say I really love the story!!! It's actually simple but the devs managed to show Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) pretty clearly, especially the splitting part that people with BPD often go through. Sometimes it feels a bit over the top, but honestly, patient of BPD indeed suffer split even over small or silly things, for example, having their “favorite person” (FP) act different towards them (which is also shown really well in this game)…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is top 3 games of my life. Nothing more to say other than I cried 2 times while playing.

unlabelledView post →I've played this game in the demo and decided to buy the game and continue. The story tries to showcase how an action, a regretful action can affect the course of one's life. It is packed beautifully amidst the abstractness, like the developer wants to show how wreck an individual mind can be when they're trying to delve deep their own regret and.. tries to forgive themselves? I'm still in the middle of completing it now so I'm not sure if the story goes that way, but that's how I perceive…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Undying Flower is not bad, but it was a miss for me. I think some of the moments landed, but it just didn't quite catch me outside of one specific moment. The music was decent, the animations were decent, but something about the way the story was told was a bit too simplistic for me. I think the game tries to be a bit too artsy for my taste, but I will 100% say that there is an audience out there for games like this that would appreciate the story that is told here. Loss is a huge theme, and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great story about family, grief and understanding with some nice art design. Solid debut title for the team at Calcatz!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought Undying Flower was great! It’s psychologically intriguing, imaginative, and emotionally playful. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! It pulls you into this world that feels very dream-like. It would be difficult to explain the story without spoiling its reveals, but I really felt it. Every scene felt intentional, every interaction had symbolic significance. Very clever writing and unique perspective on storytelling. The game seemed to grab me emotionally through quiet, intimate expressions…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The pace a bit slow for me at start, but the atmosphere make me to keep going Loved the art of the mask during dialogues, it managed to represent the emotion of the character and it looks good too I can see a language selection but only english available in the options, it seems the dev prepared to add more language later
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Undying Flower is a beautifully emotional trip-haunting, heartfelt, and totally worth the ride. Loved it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Visual and soundtrack really built the atmosphere there, I like the psychological story it gave, it sparked many questions in me, gonna keep playing this fr, seems like it has slow-burn typa story tho but it's interesting so I'm in.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful story with unique visuals. Perfect for a comfy, heartfelt evening.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Undying Flower is a short and sweet exploration-adventure from Calcatz where you wander a dreamy, painterly world chasing a wilting flower. There’s a story here — it’s poetic and quiet, with just enough gameplay to keep things moving without overstaying its welcome. Pros ✔️ Beautiful art direction – The visuals hit like a calming watercolor painting. Every scene felt thoughtfully composed and emotionally resonant. ✔️ Perfect bite-sized length – You can nose around and experience everything in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s been a good minute since a family-themed story game managed to creep me out in a good way. Still pretty early in, so don’t wanna jump to conclusions yet, but man—those statues and that music? Nightmare fuel, and I mean that as a compliment
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting game. I can say a walking sim game with unique environment and plot. Still on going to finish the game, so far it's been amazing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been playing the game almost 20 min but the experience I got really beautiful and meaningful. The artistic of the game really caught me in ( the mask and representation that I think from their cultural dance " tari topeng" really captivating ) and the ost arrangment of the game really pretty. The feeling of regret and haunted the player are really nice touch for the game theme and story. The game ofc has some of flaws but with more update and developing I hope this game will be success. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I never see a game like this
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a game that when it hits, it HITS you hard. I'm being silent about most of it, but this is something that is a fairly ok narrative game, but the story and the way it flows is amazing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Visual novel/walking sim hybrid about a young woman dealing with guilt over the death of her grandfather has some nice art direction (despite a fair bit of technical jank - it's poorly optimized, and seems to be locked at 30fps when running in 4K) - but I ultimately found this too dull to sustain my interest after an hour or so.

unlabelledView post →I overly fetishsized the art style. Which kept me wanting it until the last hour of the game. After that it goes from Ionesco re-imagining a Judy Blume novel to a Smith's album. The overly dramatized melodrama was bad to the point of turning the game to an unintentional comedy. Although, I do admit holding my puppy and telling her how…
