unlabelledView post →Kurtwood Smith shows up in BROKEN ARROW playing basically the same character he does in UNDER SIEGE 2, which features a similar "bad guy sends video message to the guv'ment" scene so I kinda see that movie as being the unofficial third UNDER SIEGE: THIS ONE HAS A LIKABLE PROTAGONIST.
unlabelledView post →I can't believe there's no GIF of Steven Seagal saying "This, I'm trained for" from UNDER SIEGE 2. I'd use that one a lot more than you'd expect. (Just to be clear, I've never seen the movie. I just remember that line from the trailer.)

unlabelledView post →Under Siege 2. Under Siege is a fine movie where Seagal is by far the worst part. Under Siege 2 doesn't have Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Busey, or Colm Meaney, so Eric Bogosian has to carry the entire thing along with that guy that looks like Race Bannon, and he does well at that.
unlabelledView post →It would be funny if someone was cast to not be in a film. Not cast in a cut role, or a cameo, or cast as a villain before they realised he played a villain in the last movie and could not come back (this happened to Gary Busey in Under Siege 2) just deliberately not there. And proudly NOT featuring
unlabelledView post →Under Siege 2: Dark Territory: entertainingly daft action film. Steven Seagal has charisma of an MDF cupboard & constantly looks dead behind the eyes but villains are very watchable. Its like drone figure mechanically working its way through an army. Enjoyed it more than original
unlabelledView post →So something happened unaccounted for so for DnD night the group watched Under Siege 2 and it's extremely funny watching a steven segal movie after never seeing them but HAVE listened to the like 4 episodes BtB did on the guy Everyone in the movie wants to kiss him, especially his enemies
unlabelledView post →...air I watched Under Siege 2 and as soon as the VA for Lexington spoke in a scene I immediately recognized the voice. Thom Adcox Hernandez(VA for Lexington in Gargoyles) was one of the computer techs in the command center for tracking the satellite weapon of the movie.
unlabelledView post →Busey and Tommy Lee Jones both chewing scenery AND a Colm Meany appearance! The supporting cast really carried that movie a lot further than it deserved. Which is probably why Under Siege 2 bombed.
unlabelledView post →Under Siege is a Christmas movie. Under Siege 2: Dark Territory is not a Christmas movie.
unlabelledView post →This Movie would pair well with Under Siege 2. Another Bomb on a Train Movie. #Cultshelf
unlabelledView post →Really have to hand it to Under Siege 2 for the best movie ever that was meant to be pithy but is instead A+ advice: “Assumption is the mother of all fuckups”
unlabelledView post →Under Siege 2 Dark Territory (1995) is another example of a TV movie kind of production. lowkey entertaining, the bad guy is a dork. but there is a severe lack of Erika Eleniak
unlabelledView post →Because everything else I thought about watching is 3 hours long… #NowWatching UNDER SIEGE 2: DARK TERRITORY I know I’ve seen this film multiple times and I remember approximately zero about it. Is there anything good to follow? #filmsky #letterboxd

unlabelledView post →This is the best one. Under Siege 2 is everything Under Siege should've been. I know the first movie has Gary Busey and Tommy Lee Jones, but this one's better. They got all the right characters doing all the right things. Original? Not all. Tried and true though. They hit all the numbers.

unlabelledView post →The Quiet Earth (1985) From the director of Young Guns II, Freejack and Under Siege 2; an entertaining last man on earth (until he isn't) story that's like Dawn of the Dead sans zombies. Alison Routledge's sweet ass proves that gingers are NOT a blight on society: #filmsky #scifi #moviesky #film
unlabelledView post →Movie playing in the background while also getting things done. Try that with Under Siege 2.
unlabelledView post →This is good for a terrible, terrible B movie. Elements of Robocop and Total Recall, but it all takes place in a space prison. It's very stupid, but short with a lot of shower scenes. Looks cheap Is cheap Directed by a dude who made a lot of bad sequels Young Guns 2 Under Siege 2 5.5/10
unlabelledView post →The sequel Under Siege 2 has one of the best movie quotes ever IMHO “Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups” Segal is a Putin loving prick now but no issue with either Under Siege film. A lot of fun and don’t bother taking either seriously
unlabelledView post →Really? You got to Under Siege 2 without seeing the canonical first boob PG film, Sixteen Candles, first?
unlabelledView post →Like THAT scene in Frenzi: When in Rome... Kill is locomotively awesome. Or Under Siege 2 is a locomotively action movie.
unlabelledView post →Every morning I wake up my wife with a rousing 2hr stream-of-consciousness speech about how Under Siege 2: Dark Territory is actually the superior film compared to Under Siege.
unlabelledView post →Seagal's first five movies are frustratingly good. I'll even give him Under Siege 2 (the villains absolutely elevated that one) and Executive Decision, although that one's not *really* a Seagal movie. That's 7 out of 50+. Hardly a passing grade. Stay outta my DMs with that Glimmer Man bullshit.

unlabelledView post →Under Siege 2 is pretty bad. But the cast is once again a mix bag of people you know but don’t recall their names. But I guess the formula worked for a while. It stars Steven Segal but he has very few lines and not much screen time. Strong supporting cast to carry the film.
unlabelledView post →#42 - Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995) The sequel to my favorite Seagal movie doesn't really stand up to the predecessor, but it was still a fun action-filled romp with cool stunts, lots of cheesy dialogue and a bonkers premise 6/10 Review attached
unlabelledView post →I forgot I had a media thread Under Siege 2: this movie kinda sucks unless you're specifically watching it to take the piss on Steven Seagal, in which case it's extremely funny A glorious showcase of his lack of charisma and strange running gait. His enemies want to kiss him
unlabelledView post →Tonight's distraction movie is Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995) starring Steve Seagal, Katherine Heigl, Morris Chestnut and Eric Bogosian. I have loved this ridiculous movie since it came out. I think I saw it theaters. But there is one scene I always fast forward- the eye torture scene.
unlabelledView post →@patrickhwillems.bsky.social Hey pat I remember watching you talk a lot about Under Siege 2 quite reverently. I can't remember, did you clock it as a cyberpunk movie or is that another thing that should be film philosphy canon that I pulled your pants down on? Eh, is it Charles?
unlabelledView post →I don't know how much of it was director Geoff Murphy, but Under Siege 2: Dark Territory is a vast improvement over the first film, in every regard. The good guys, the bad guys, the action and comedy, the banter and pacing. Everything's better including, miraculously, Seagal himself.
unlabelledView post →Omg same. I built bridges and crashed brio trains over them, like in the movie Under Siege 2 dark territory. Often with space ghost or PBS playing in the background on a Friday night.
unlabelledView post →if you want more 90s action movie distractions, I'd recommend Under Siege (aka "Die Hard, but on a boat") and Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (aka "Die Hard, but on a boat, but on a train")
unlabelledView post →Having watched them back to back, I can say that Under Siege 2 is the better movie, by an order of magnitude. Practically everything wrong with or missing from the first was corrected with the sequel. Not an essential by any means, but if you ever find yourself with the time, it’s worth a look.
unlabelledView post →also re: the Steven Seagal films they've covered I think it's very clear that to the extent he ever had a "good" period, it ended in 1995 with Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, i.e. the first time trailer voiceovers couldn't say "Steven Seagal IS…[title of movie]"
unlabelledView post →"Steven Seagal was locked in a refrigerator for about a third of that movie." This is why I chose UNDER SIEGE 2 for the Seagalogy fest. US is TLJ's movie by design (for good reason). https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-features/the-fugitive-movie-oral-history-cast-director-1234789685/
unlabelledView post →Die Hard was such a good movie that multiple times every year for a fucking decade they released films self-promoted as "Die Hard in a _____." Under Siege was "Die Hard on a boat." Under Siege 2 was on a train! Air Force One: "Die Hard on a plane." Sudden Death: "Die Hard at an NHL game."
unlabelledView post →I think the premise is that for one night only this movie can be enjoyed, every other night should send you to a movie prison with Under Siege 2 and Jaws 3D being the only things you can watch
unlabelledView post →Watching this video makes me think of Under Siege 2, and the James Bond film - The World Is Not Enough I'm wondering how nerdy science fiction writers are, and how much niche tech news they watch. youtu.be/tz23G_UXCGA?...
unlabelledView post →Nobody will agree with me but not only is Under Siege 2: Dark Territory better than the first US, it's actually a very good movie.
unlabelledView post →One film I don’t even remember her being in: Soderbergh’s King of the Hill. Three films I didn’t mind her in: Knocked Up (she was good, but… not irreplaceable), Under Siege 2 and Bride of Chucky. Think that if everything else were better in OftM, she would’ve been good. But… it wasn’t.
unlabelledView post →"Under Siege 2" is not a great movie, but the Basil Poledouris soundtrack does it a real favor
unlabelledView post →I haven't. TBH prior to last week, I've only seen on Seagal movie, and it was Under Siege 2.
unlabelledView post →Gonna be honest, don’t know if I’ve ever seen a Steven Seagal movie that I can remember until I just finished Under Siege 2. How did they let this man make a bunch of movies? Just zero charisma

unlabelledView post →“Assumption is the mother of all f##kups.” From the high quality film, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. The character quoted is Casey Ryback, an ex-Navy SEAL, played by former aikido instructor, proclaimed Buddhist tulku, Steven Seagal, also known for his recent work as Putin & Lukashenka’s buddy.
unlabelledView post →The shittiest movie to scare me shitless as a kid was Under Siege 2 cause the villain wanted to destroy the nuclear reactor under the Pentagon. My 13yo ass was ready to scream every time I passed it on the metro for like a month after.
