unlabelledView post →One of the best bits in a Seagal movie is the bar fight in Out for Justice, because in the middle of this extremely NYC Italian bar Filipino martial artist Dan Inosanto wanders into frame dual-wielding pool cues like escrima sticks while a guy yells "GET 'EM, STICKS!" www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuU6...

unlabelledView post →Watched Out for Justice (1991) tonight. Thought I might have seen it before but I guess not. Really good, brutal action sequences, and the director (the same guy who did Rolling Thunder!) has a genuine sense of style. I give this film 3 and 1/2 Seagals out of 5.
unlabelledView post →Remembered that OUT FOR JUSTICE was the movie where the "Gene LaBell choked out Seagal and made him poop himself" story comes from.

unlabelledView post →no one wants to compliment Out For Justice, just because it is a stupid and terrible movie
unlabelledView post →His performance in OUT FOR JUSTICE is one of my all time favorite action movie villains.
unlabelledView post →I adore this stupid fucking movie. One of my comfort action movies. Like a big dumb blanket for me to cozy up and watch peak Seagal sleaziness. My ★★★★★ review of Out for Justice on @letterboxd.social: boxd.it/do70Z3

unlabelledView post →I really hated the weird attention I got for watching a Seagal movie, people just didn't know how to act.......LET'S DO IT AGAIN!!!! NOW WATCHING OUT FOR JUSTICE!!!!!!
unlabelledView post →I became aware of Buick Grand Nationals while watching the 1991 Steven Seagal movie Out For Justice. In the movie I believe it’s supposed to be a GNX but imcdb suggests it was a GN with GNX wheels. Always thought they looked cool as hell. And apparently the fastest production car in 1987.
unlabelledView post →Leaving out “Out For Justice” is as improper as was Steven Seagal’s re-editing the film to reduce Forsythe’s screen time because he was insecure about being upstaged

unlabelledView post →211: OUT FOR JUSTICE (1991) dir. John Flynn Yes, Steven Seagal is a garbage monster. However, I still love this idiot movie. This time around, I'm struck by how much William Forsythe looked like my old man, and how his character had a similar enthusiasm for substances
unlabelledView post →And he was obsessed with Bruce. He gives a one sided beat down to Dan Inosanto, Bruce's #1 student, in OUT FOR JUSTICE. whatever that movie he did with the least annoying Wayan's brother had somebody say "He fights like Bruce Lee but BETTER!"
unlabelledView post →Ohhh, I remember Dan Inosanto in the Seagal movie Out for Justice, where he was wielding a pool stick like Eskrima.
unlabelledView post →I went through a phase where I made up Steven Seagal movie titles since he's always MARKED FOR DEATH, HARD TO KILL, OUT FOR JUSTICE, ABOVE THE LAW. coming soon to a theater near you is MOWING THE LAWN, starring Seagal, set in 90s south LA, in a starter home with a small patch of grass out front.

unlabelledView post →I really think you are probably right. I do have a soft spot for William Forsythe’s heavy in Out For Justice, and I do think the corkscrew death seems insane in an action movie.
unlabelledView post →Years back, a local theater programmed a 24-hr film fest, with multiple films running at each time slot. Saw Wiseman's ESSENE, saw THE EMPEROR'S NAKED ARMY MARCHES ON, saw SOMETHING WILD with a Demme intro... and I also saw OUT FOR JUSTICE, because one programmer was all, whatever I love this movie.
unlabelledView post →Mine is Out for Justice, a Steven Segal film about a retired cop who goes on a vengeance spree to avenge his dead partner. So I dunno how to interpret that.

unlabelledView post →Great setting and great villains. It’s probably Seagal’s slickest movie, although I enjoy Out for Justice more for its sheer meanness.

unlabelledView post →Out For Justice is a glorious movie, and officially the only properly good thing that Steven Seagal starred in. Best paired with Stone Cold which gives you both Forsythe and Lance Henriksen on bad guy duties. Then again, why not also have Lance Henriksen in Hard Target?
unlabelledView post →Oh yeah. I didn't see Out for Justice, but in her 2nd film, Animal Instincts, her lines more or less came out kinda pho-net-i-cal-ly. But gah, she improved by QUANTUM LEAPS AND BOUNDS and really should've been a mainstream crossover success. Because aye, she *does* have a real magnetic charisma.
unlabelledView post →Out For Justice is legitimately one of my favorite movie watching experiences I've ever had. Sometimes you need intricate and thought provoking character studies into a man and his works, like Mishima. A masterpiece of cinema. Other times you just need Steven Seagal with a shitty brooklyn accent.
