Twins
Julius and Vincent Benedict are the results of an experiment that would allow for the perfect child. Julius was planned and grows to athletic proportions. Vincent is an accident and is somewhat smaller in stature. Vincent is placed in an orphanage while Julius is taken to a south seas island and raised by philosophers. Vincent becomes the ultimate low life and is about to be killed by loan sharks. From TMDB

They might not even exist, I never checked because I know they're bots! SCARY TWIN ROBOTS! INFERNAL CLANKERS!!!
unlabelledView post →Agreed. Ones I have seen, own, enjoy, or frequently watched as a kid. There were others but figured they were too obvious (Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, etc.) or I don’t recall the name or know how well they hold up. Would a child now be as into the Olsen Twins Halloween movie as 8 year old me was?
unlabelledView post →I’m the same way. Satan’s Pilgrims is an instrumental surf band, I chose them because I wanted something a little more energetic to shake things up. Normally I’ll listen to film scores or shoegaze stuff like Cocteau Twins or Precocious Neophyte where you aren’t really paying attention to lyrics.

By contrast, I listen to Every Single Sci Fi Film Ever; the presenter, and every single guest that I've heard, wear their knowledge lightly, not a compliment that applies to either Hyde or Osman.

unlabelledView post →Watched "Count Dracula's Great Love"[1973] aka "El gran amor del conde Drácula", Spanish vampire fun and definitely one for fans of Hammer productions like "The Vampire Lovers" and "Twins of Evil". There seems to have been many edits of this movie and mine occasionally dropped into English! Weird.
