unlabelledView post →tremors and jaws are both great movies, and Jaws probably succeeds more as a work of horror. but Tremors is actually perfect. an almost unique example of a film executed flawlessly in line with its vision.
unlabelledView post →Hard to think of a more likable monster movie cast than the one in Tremors. It's my ideal horror-comedy hybrid, one where the jokes come from how fun the characters are rather than subverting any of the tension.
unlabelledView post →(Some of these are taken from replies) 8. Exorcist 3 is a classic. 9. Jason X is best of the "franchise killer in space" sub-genre. 10. Tremors is a perfect movie. 11. Shaun of the Dead & Slither are the best horror comedies. 12. Prince of Darkness is Carpenter's most underrated movie.

unlabelledView post →My sincere thanks to everyone in the audience last night at the @amcinematheque.bsky.social 35th Anniversary screening of #TREMORS. I had an absolute blast and hope you did, too! Old school filmmaking like this really holds up (at least IMHO), and I am so proud to have helped get this movie made.
unlabelledView post →Took the kids to see Tremors at the theater. We have seen it I-don't-know-how-many-times but never in a theater. I was really happy to see that there were quite a few people there. It's funny to see the original after watching all 7 movies plus the TV show. It's like seeing Burt Gummer as a baby.
unlabelledView post →Is there a movie you really wish would come true? For me it’s Tremors
unlabelledView post →Okay, lets get watching- Tremors (1990) Kevin Bacon of Friday the 13th fame (lol) joins Fred Ward in the town of Perfection, where subterranean monsters have begun to hunt the townsfolk. A modern classic, wonderful film. Shoutout to Michael Gross for a wild performance. Who else loves this one?
unlabelledView post →As I just learned this, so now have you: Tremors is up on YouTube for Free. Go watch a perfect movie.

unlabelledView post →Share a horror movie title that begins with the letter “T” 🎥 T is for… ‘Tremors’ 🖤
unlabelledView post →This has always been the problem with the Alien series, the movies dont work if you dont have stupid motherfuckers. Its a real fail point for lots of monster movies, tbh. Except tremors. Tremors is the perfect monster flick. Everybody in tremors is smart and it *makes* the movie work.

unlabelledView post →You can actually see this phenomena in the movie Tremors and Beverly Hills Cop, where the idea of owning that many guns is played for hilarious effect. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNoy...
unlabelledView post →Rewatched 'Tremors' with my kid. I've said it before, but that film is magnificent and an absolute fucking masterclass in foreshadowing. Deeply satisfying, not a second wasted. Shame it gets dismissed as a 'monster movie' because it is a solid Top 5 film of all time. Perfection.

unlabelledView post →I'll have to check this out because I like Josh Hartnett (Slevin!) But also, not everything has to be Citizen fucking Kane. There are movies that can just be really good and fun. Like Tremors, a near perfect film that never won Oscars
unlabelledView post →Tremors is a movie that knows exactly what it is and exactly what it's trying to do. It's not trying to "elevate" or pretend it's something it's not because it's ashamed of being genre. It's a monster movie. It knows it's a monster movie. It WANTS to be a monster movie. And it's brilliant for that.
