What people are saying
Mixed but leaning negative due to bugs despite charm.
Many players praise the game's cute art style, charming dialogue, and inclusive LGBTQIA+ representation. One reviewer calls it "one of the cutest, most representative games I have ever played" and notes that most early glitches have been resolved. [2][7]
However, a large number of players report game-breaking bugs, softlocks, and missing quest items that prevent progress. Several reviewers say they "really wanted to like this game" but were forced to request refunds due to technical issues. [1][16][19]

40 of 40 · most liked first*Refund requested* Was so excited for the game that I got it despite mixed reviews now that it was reported most of the bugs were fixed. Pros - Extremely cute aesthetic - Excellent visual character design - Interesting "combat" mechanics Cons - Couldn't bring myself to finish the game - full disclosure - For a personality-assessment game, offers very little control over your bug's personality - Socioeconomic commentary lacks necessary depth, deeply disappointing and frustrating - For a game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Welp. This is my first ever steam review, and I'm about to say those oh-so-familiar words that everyone is always disappointed to hear: I wanted to like this game so badly. I've been waiting for it for ages, I bought it the second it came out, and I played it as soon as I could - which would have been sooner if it worked on steam deck, but unfortunately not working on steam deck is the least of its current issues. But let's start with the good stuff! First, as another reviewer mentioned, the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game looked so up my ally, I bought it and barely 19 minutes in I was talking with an npc & got caught in an loop of buy this or buy that and no matter what I tried I couldn't get out of it. I asked for a refund. Game looks cute, even on sale I'd say to maybe wait for an update for this. Also having controller support would have been nice, but that's me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is one of the cutest, most representative games i have ever played. 10/10 and i don't say that lightly 🐜 the quirky dialogue is so charming and the character designs are delightful for those browsing and wondering, most of the glitches talked about in early negative reviews have been resolved! there was recently a patch and i have not run into any since i started playing 💖
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm sad that I can't recommend this game because it oozes charm. Unfortunately, in its current state it is broken. Car 2 does not work, with disappearing quest items and missing prompts. For some reason, the game propelled my character into the final car then broke. I try not to refund indie games, but until some serious fixes are made this game is unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When this game was first announced, I was really excited for it, so naturally I picked it up the moment it released. And while I still love the concept and the aesthetic of the game, I'm a bit let down by the execution. I wouldn't call it outright broken, but it's definitely unpolished. The text formatting breaks sometimes, graphics sometimes mess up like characters clipping into objects or important visual information being obscured by the camera angle, the prompts for interacting with things…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a fun game with a cool concept behind it, but the game is just so buggy and completely soft locked me personally in my save. The dev team has also gone completely radio silent.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →super cute bug game that my girlfriend made!!! i think everyone should play it (but i am very biased!) hope you all enjoy!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game because it looks so cute, but it is broken in its current state so I asked for a refund. I hope this game gets fixed soon because I wouldn't mind giving it another try!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute game, charming writing, wholesome and lots of LGBT representation, but the game is incredibly buggy. Several quests were impossible to complete, because key items or key NPCs would despawn. Luckily in my playthrough, another bug occurred where every door also became unlocked, which allowed me to progress through the game and see the ending. Here's an incomplete list of bugs I've encountered (I'm only listing the major ones, there are too many minor ones to list) Card battle is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was eagerly awaiting the release of this game because it seemed incredible! Beautiful characters, captivating graphics, and solid gameplay. However, the game initially had numerous bugs. If someone experiences frequent issues with saving the game, they might, like me, lose hours of progress due to a silly bug. The game crashed at various points, and despite the gorgeous graphics and style, I cannot recommend it with these issues.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a cute game/idea but the actual experience playing it is awful. Super buggy and you constantly get softlocked during quests and need to reset (there's even been a few times I had to just start a whole new save to stop a bug from occurring. From the looks of things now, the devs don't seem to have any real intention of fixing these bugs either, at least, not in any reasonable amount of time, even for an indie game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is adorable but that's all it is, I got this game because it's very up my alley. cute art style, bugs! and card game after playing it for a bit it's very clear that this game is very underbaked, the card game mechanic is way too simple and not fleshed out enough. I'd love to come back to this game if it gets updated and made better
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was so incredibly excited about this game. Super cute graphics, interactive and for me new game concept, LGBTQIA+ friendly, funny and at the same time quirky characters etc. It was fun at the beginning but there are so many bugs that spoil the game. - Quests don't complete even though you've done everything - Items are invisible (speech bubble appears out of nowhere, e.g. glasses at the art exhibition). If you click on the bubble, it also says that you've taken the glasses, but you don't have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like a lot of reviewers, I was really excited for this game to come out based on the trailer. But unfortunately, the game is kind of buggy and the story feels very slow. The combat system isn't explained very well and it feels like its only purpose is to stretch out the game's playtime. The art style is very cute and the concept is interesting but I felt bored playing it and didn't feel motivated to keep playing after I got stuck. Unless the creator(s) come out with a patch or major update I…

And well, I have to say that I wasn't able to finish the game... but I really wanted to, which may be why my review is positive. I had the exact same issues described in some great reviews, from the health never going down in combat to some side quests being impossible to complete. However, I didn't mind it that much…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would love to give this game a good review: it's adorable, inclusive, positive, and fun! The problem is there are too many bugs (I mean the game bugs, not the character bugs). I found it hard to progress because I gave the IOU Note to the guy and he gave back my scanner instead of the necklace. Now I don't know how to progress without completing the necklace quest. :( On top of that, the battles were fun but the HP is clearly "bugged" as well.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was given this as a gift for my birthday - I've been very excited about this game for a while!!! However I can't recommend the game in its current state. I hope this changes soon! I was shocked that when going through the "tunnel" the game glitched and nothing worked, and then when I reloaded it, the tunnel would still black out random parts of the first car. When I finally got to the second car, the person who had been assigned to me (the ladybug character) didn't move or interact with any…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really cute game with great dialogue and character designs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More old art! This one is from a Secret Santa event. I got to draw some art for @esmmazing.bsky.social. I drew Kidd from Animal Crossing for her, and also included references to her upcoming game, Tracks of Thought.
unlabelledView post →Tracks of Thought, developed by Tidbits Play, is a narrative-driven, single-player adventure that takes a deeply introspective approach to storytelling. Set aboard a mysterious train where all passengers have lost their memory, the game invites players to step into the shoes of a ladybug who must navigate through various train carriages filled with other equally confused insect characters. Rather than focusing on traditional combat or exploration mechanics, the game centers its design around…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an interesting concept for conflict resolution, but I think it was better in theory. To be fair, I am only 2 hours in, but I'm already turned off by the woke agenda of gender confusion/"affirmation". I was testing the game out with my kids and regretted that almost immediately as it gave me the option of choosing my character's pronouns and then one of the characters wanted to be he/them. This wasn't something my kids needed to be confused by & I had thought the game would be more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to love this game because the premise is right up my alley. However, when I played the game, it seemed like there were weird conversation bugs going on and I couldn't make it past the 2nd cart. If there's been an update to fix the bugs, I'd be happy to jump back in and play! Otherwise, this will be one I'll just have to wait on.

unlabelledView post →Very cute game so far! Though I am having an issue where the E menu with the passengers displays zero information, just "not discovered," despite being on car three. The sprint also feels a little slow. I'm still enjoying it overall!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reviewing early to support the devs! It's cute and nice! I know about one bug that breaks the game and how to avoid it (don't walk into the second car after going thru all the interactions in the first one) and that helps a lot! Excited to play more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a lovely game filled with wholesome energy and a fun and engaging story! You can definitely tell that the creator and the people who worked on it, put their heart and soul into this game, making it an extremely enjoyable experience filled with love! If you're doubting to buy the game, let me be the person to convince you to absolutely get it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have decided to not finish this game. Subjectively, I did not care for the dialogue, which composes most of the game, and so why play a game where I'm not jiving with most of it? Objectively, there are mechanics to the "combat" that seem bugged. Neither me nor my "opponent" were capable of losing health, so it meant that no decision mattered. Also, There were multiple times where dialogue would suggest I had to do something that I wasn't supposed to do (find a key/key is immediately given,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This games got bugs and i'm not talking about the characters. I've restarted twice because the game glitches out in some way or gives the wrong dialogue at the wrong time or simply just does not let you interact with the character or item that you need in order to progress. It's like an endless cycle of getting soft locked. Or after saving and exiting the game i'll come back and quests i completed will suddenly no longer be ticked off as completed but it also won't let me interact with anything…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tracks of Thought is the type of game that adapts to the players personality?? So, let's see what unfolds for me! .o. I'm live on both Twitch & YouTube now!! www.twitch.tv/pixxachu youtube.com/live/bDTkO89... #IndieVtuber #ENVtuber #Vtuber
unlabelledView post →DNF The art is absolutely adorable and I like the idea of doing conflict resolution via a card game on paper. Unfortunately the game commits various sins that made me decide to quit it within the first hour of play: 1. The sound mixing is all over the place and the option menu does not give you any kind of sound-cue when you raise or lower the volume. This means that you will only find out if dialogue, SFX, or music is too loud in the middle of the game by having your ears assaulted. For some…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looks cute, but it's so buggy (pun not intended) I had trouble navigating the main menu and I can't get past the first screen in the game, required dialogues/interactions won't trigger. This game is unfinished and sold for a really high price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is incredibly cute and charming and i am in love with the dialouge but overall cannot reccomend due to a bug that prevents you from completing the game with no real response to when or how it will be fixed. On top of that the card game play is very repetitive and doesn't quite make sense. this game could benefit with a face lift
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is a lot to like about Tracks of Thought. The art style is charming, the plot and dialogue are fun and silly with a good amount of heart that comes through when the topics get more serious in nature. I think the music and sound design were solid, and overall, I am glad I played this game. This recommendation comes with a massive caveat that from a technical standpoint, this game does have a lot of bugs (not just the adorable characters, either). I was able to get through the mainline…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really lovely little game, a few bugs but nothing game breaking, great message especially at the end
