unlabelledView post →all of the drm content and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ EULA stuff is ruining resident evil as a franchise. For the longest time I really didn't care, but as an adult I've started reading the mile long legal page before you can play, and its aggressively bad. you should really read it, they may eventually require an account for you to use the game you already own When using the Program, the user may be required to, or be able to, use the account service provided by Capcom. If you buy premium currency or dlc…

unlabelledView post →I bought this game to play co-op with my girlfriend, but it turns out the campaign's co-op mode isn't available on PC, only on consoles. The only co-op mode available is "Assault," which doesn't appeal to me much and in terms of gameplay the game leaves a lot to be desired. I've also seen several suggestions about using split-screen but if you don't have a good TV to enjoy it on it's not a viable option

unlabelledView post →A Gritty, Bizarre, and Oddly Fashionable Survival Horror If you’re looking for a game that blends classic survival-horror tension with a surprisingly modern, experimental edge, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a fascinating entry. While the first Revelations was a love letter to claustrophobic, nautical-themed horror on a stranded cruise ship, this sequel takes a darker, grittier turn. It trades the ship's cramped corridors for a bleak, Russian-themed detention island, and honestly, the change of…

unlabelledView post →I did not enjoy my time with RE Revelations 2. Which really sucks, because I liked Revelations 1 for what it was. This isn't because Revelations 2 is some drastic shift from Rev 1. If anything I think it's because it's pretty much revelations 1 again but with a different story. The story is primarily the main thing I like about this game. Revelations 1 had an okay story, but it was also kinda worthless in the grand scheme of things being a prequel to RE5, it falls into the trapping of a lot…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We finished, up next for the next time we stream MIGHT be Resident Evil Revelations 2. The game that like literally no one has ever played, and you can't tell me otherwise.
unlabelledView post →Boring and a slog, weird choice to not include online co-op in the main campaign. Wife and I played it through Steam Remote Play, but it diminishes the experience to play split-screen as opposed to one full screen each. Additionally, we encountered a bug at the final boss that would disable our controller input after the cutscene, which didn't allow us to finish the game. We tried for an hour or so before giving up and uninstalling. And the game has two endings tied behind one single unapparent…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game page says that there is an online co-op, when in fact it's available only in secondary game mode. But in main game mode only local/Steam remote play co-op is available. And when I genuanly tried to play via Steam remote play I could only use my controller, mouse and keyboard were unavailable. And I had an issue with hearing voices over remote play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Raid mode alone is too fun and worth the price of the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I always like when a game uses the orange weak point system. Games like Lost Planet and Dead Space use it and it's cool to see in Resident Evil Revelations 2. Big fan!

unlabelledView post →(English) Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a surprisingly good entry in the series. It blends classic survival horror elements with more modern action gameplay, creating a tense but still accessible experience. The episodic structure works well, making each chapter feel like an episode of a dark horror show. One of the most interesting parts of the game is the dual-character mechanic. Switching between characters like Claire and Moira (or Barry and Natalia) adds variety to puzzles and combat.…

unlabelledView post →Underrated 8/10 RE:R2 is a very underrated game. It improves upon the first game in nearly every way. Gameplay wise, RE:R2 introduces some of the best enemy design in the entire franchise, and also brings back the duo protagonist feature from RE0, which I was a fan of. The puzzles are pretty cool and fun to solve, and the atmosphere is some of the best in the franchise. The story is actually pretty good and compelling. The characters, both new and old, are interesting, well written and easy…
