positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →People told me to get a life, so i get Tokyo School Life CHECK MATE
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →0/10 no sex still heartwarming though
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: - 10/10 Waifu status, I feel personally attacked by how well this game knows what I want in a girl - Voice Acting - Karin and Aoi are super gay Cons: - Barely any active choices to be made with regard to dialogue - ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cringey protagonist; exacerbated by the first con because you can't control what he says - There was a cute kitty but I wasn't able to see it because they didn't draw it. Very offended. - Keeps explaining stuff that I already know about Japanese culture. Probably a pro…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You might be considering buying this because you heard the dual-text system is good for Japanese learners. That's fine. But know this: you MUST be prepared for how cringe this game is. The prose in this game is thermonuclear cringe. Whatever level of cringe you are expecting, it's at least an order of magnitude worse. It's so bad that I can only assume that this is the Japanese developers' (accurate) impression of what the average weeb is like and wrote it this way to insult you, you filthy…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this for my dating sim-loving girlfriend (mostly so I could watch, lel) and... Jesus Christ alive on the cross, the characters are unlikeable. We have bitchtits, who locks you out of the house, makes you a social reject for very little reason, and barely apologises for it (all before going back to insulting you)... we have the one who's boring, save for when she syphons a manga issue out of you by lying for no reason, even though she's supposed to be the 'nice' one... and then we have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought it because it was meant to be good for learning anime language, however I couldn't read the dakuten due to the low resolution of the game (which you can't change), so I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out what hoku was in the context given when it was actually boku
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game gave me crippling depression 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I did not enjoy this as I am not a child predator.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good Artwork Good Soundtrack Good Animation Medium Length Story (it took 10 hours for me to finished 1 route)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →sakura best girl.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →LiVE Streamed this game for 2.6 hours Was not disappointed
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad, although the girls' behaviour is a little too over the top to be believable (even within the anime realm). Well put-together, interesting stories, nice art, decent soundtrack. Not for the otome crowd but better than usual for the guys who like VNs (with an actual story with choices).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I Finally Have Friends :') I've already made more female friends than i have in real life :D 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's pretty funny game, it was recommended by Game gengo for learning japanese. I've to say it's definetely not perfect for beginners, because it has a lot of casual talking, but for someone like me who knows a bit japanese, it was productive experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This wasn't anywhere worth the $15 I spent. Little to no choices that basically make no difference in the story, and the "Adult Content" and "Nudity" tags are completely unnecessary and misleading. I thought at the very least there'd be a lil topless action or some bikini renders... Nope, just a couple shots of bare shoulder blades. Lame af.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got kicked out of the group chat as many times as real life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Only finished one of the many story lines, and it honestly takes you through all of the emotions. Really addicitve and draws you in. Voice acting is great and the subs are great too. Only problem i had was overlapping voices when skipping dialog. But apart from that a very good game. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS GAME! Took me on a rollercoaster of emotions, and I loved every second of it...Sometimes it was a little dry, but everything was well thought out. I did 2/3 stories...One more amazing story to unravel. Can't wait :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the kind of game you play, expecting to see a cute little romance story and instead you end up crying for an hour because of what happens.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just really bland. Even that menu music, a sickening music box composition that makes you want to hurl. Kinda cool if you want to learn some Japanese from the voicing + romaji subs, but as for heroine (heroin?) choices really you only get a choice between the quiet nice girl with a penchant for lying her asz off, the loli girl who looks like she might be 6 and has that maternal side and the big titted tsundere idol girl (all animu tropes). Honestly, I found myself the whole just wanting to get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, Story is ok but could have been better. I had fun with it over all and the story and paths were nice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is beautiful. The sprites are wonderful, and the way they are animated is great. Each of the characters is well-formed. While the first half (or so) is a common path, making the right decisions will allow you to choose one of the three girls to pursue. And each of the girls has a secret of some kind. Some of those secrets are a bit easier to find out (one of the girls is an embryonic idol), others are not revealed until later (one of the girls... well, she may not live long). Each of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pretty much 3 short stories and will take you a short time to finish. It was very entertaining and pulls you in, but its length and feel of repetitiveness in the 3 stories makes it less memorable. This is a game worth trying during a sale. Not a priority buy in my opinion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is basically a walk through. you do not get interaciton like i thought. also, even if you are a girl playing the characters address you as a boy, which is annoying. i thought it was something different like an rpg or something. don't get me wrong! the graphics are amazing and beautiful! there is japanese on the screen if you are learning. however, i expected a lot more from this game. especially $15!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →よくできたね(Not Bad) Pros - Beautifull Art - Fun To Watch - Amazing Animation - たのしですね!( Fun) Cons - The Story is a bit Short - Not So Many Choice.<---- this i'm disapointed :(
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made me more salty since I didn't like my high school (especially Junior and Senior year). Other than that, this game is great (for one of those short kind of VNs) and is very comfy. Edit: This game... changed me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS GAME IS NOT STRICTLY FOR LEARNING JAPANESE! USE IT AS A SUPPLEMENT TO LEARNING! It has accessibility features to help early learners read through the story and have something quick and handy to rely on for reference. It's good and unique on that merit alone, however the resolution is TERRIBLE for text comprehension of small characters. you can make by on guesses if you've read other material, but this game should not be for very early beginners. (IE, if you can't comprehend something…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →better than counter strike bro ........
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moron protagonist, doing moronic things and having moronic things done to him in order to move plot forward. Unredeemably bad writing. Discusted I've wasted my money on this in order to immerse in Japanese. There are much better games and VNs out there, seriously DON'T DO IT!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's nothing special, but a good nothing special.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i sincerely thank funny youtuber scott the woz for playing this game at 2x speed for his anime games video to then me buying the game on switch AND steam and beating it. its a little all over the place but honestly, i had alot of fun playing. sakura best girl
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A rather fun novel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game hurt my heart 0////0 Lemme say, it's a short experience: I did everything you can do in this bad boy and didn't even crack 10 hours. Also, not every route is created equally. Some have more satisfying endings than others, though I suppose that's subjective. There's also a surprising amount of bugs that happen upon starting up the game, though they were resolved by restarting the game every time. Ultimately, my time with Tokyo School Life was brief and a bit of a lop-sided experience.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun and lighthearted visual novel that gets you invested, somewhat short but very worth trying. The characters are lovable and cute with good animation.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why is the FBI here!!??
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →barely played the game. got a foil card worth £20 Profit. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just finished the game and I wanted to write a rewiev immediately while still my feelings are fresh. Note: It may contain spoilers. I loved Sakura. I literally cried when she hospitalized. When the main character returns back to his country and Sakura didn't contact him for half a year I thought everything was over... But... he went back to Japan and found out that she didn't die! That was the biggest happiness I have ever felt in my life... Character impressions are amazing. This game is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice VN with a good story twist. Pro: +The art is very pretty. +Good soundtrack. +Unique and memorable characters. +Very nice story. +Decent length to play/read. +Diverse choise making +Several endings Con: Nothing 10/10 Very nice VN
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well that was a letdown. The very epitome of generic. Really don't know what I expected. -- elaboration -- I guess it's okay as a "babbys first" VN or if you can relate to the autistic social misfit MC. BUT; if you have any experience whatsoever with VNs, anime or manga (or just are a normal person with an IQ above 75) you'll see right through the characters and story. You can easily skip 1/3 or even 1/2 of the conversations without even missing anything since you know right off the bat what…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game thinking it was a Japanese learning game, if you are thinking the same then you'd be wrong. it's more or less just endless dialog between you and 3 school girls with undertones of sexual tension it's subtle but a tad uncomfortable given that they seem to be very young. The only connection to learning this game may have is that it is translated in multiple ways. English, Japanese, Romaji.....are all subtitle and secondary subtitle options however in the game itself there is no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This gamee is sooo good but when you just choose the route like me i choose Sakura... it feel like they rushing the story but yeah the story soo good the art work is so masterpiece and when Sakura smile at the end its make me doki doki more
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute girls overload. Too bad there is no travelling to Tokyo at this moment due to COVID-19.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tokyo School Life is a visual novel about a foreign exchange student visiting Japan for the first time. You play as a male character whose default name is John Smith. You can change his name if you'd like. While in Japan, you meet and get close to three girls, Sakura, Aoi, and Karin. Depending on your choices, you will date one of them. It seems like the characters are all based on popular tropes. You have the tomboy, tsundere, and sick girl characters while the player is an absolute…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would buy this for a friend I know, but I am currently facing up to 12 life sentences for "alleged" reasons.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is very good for otaku
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game crashes too much. Crashed before I could quick save and had to start over.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cuteness Awaits!!....^_^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it may crash sometimes, but hell yeah do i recommend this. It's a great experience doing your first playthrough. 8/10 If it's your first time at games like this, like it was mine, definetely give it a go.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game definitely caught me by surprise. I have to admit, at first I thought the characters and setting seemed kinda juvenile. You're a total gajin weeb who travels to Japan on a foreign exchange program, and there you meet a tomboy, a tsundere, and the traditional beautiful and demure girl. I was like "Pfft, is this something I read in middle school? I wonder what kinda kooky shonen hijinx will happen this time..." But boy was I wrong. I don't even know where to begin my praise for this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't mind me, I'm just here to achieve the cute badge... (๑ㆁܫㆁ)♡
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok. This game is one of the best Visual Novel i have played, it's pretty short but the story is so good that you practically get hooked instantly, i really love how they make the 3 girls so different but getting into every player likes so everyone can find their own waifu. 10/10 Aoi best girl
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why do I own this and what am I doing with my life. My freinds make fun of me for owning this on my acount. End my suffering.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →man 20 minutes in everyone is calling me a pervert why this game so realistic?

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had this game on my wishlist for a while mainly as a supplement to learning Japanese. While it did help me in that regard, the game ultimately had a good story that's has the usual Japan school troupes, with you playing as a male character from a different country coming to Japan as an exchange student. There's three girls you meet and they're the main focus of the game, with you ultimately becoming their romantic partner at the end. So three intended routes (or endings), but there is a route…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tokyo School Life, developed by M2 Co., Ltd and published by Dogenzaka Lab, is a charming romantic visual novel that captures the essence of Japanese high school life through the lens of an idealized exchange student experience. The game follows the story of a foreign student spending a semester in Japan, offering a narrative that blends everyday school life, lighthearted comedy, and youthful romance. It is a title designed to appeal to fans of slice-of-life anime and dating sims, combining a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tokyo School Life. Cute game, currently playing through it. So far I would recommend, I really like that the idle animations and the way they render font.
