It’s not CGI. Marvel really wanted this to have its own [feel] — many things in the movie were actually done practically"

unlabelledView post →Very late to the party but Thunderbolts* or whatever it’s called is a very well-written film that is also somehow a meditation on depression? I liked it a lot.
unlabelledView post →You know what Marvel movie I watch a lot? THUNDERBOLTS*. It's quickly become one of my favorite MCU movies.
unlabelledView post →Thunderbolts* Wow. If Marvel had their wits about them, they would just let Florence Pugh rescue this phase of MCU films, as Robert Downey Jnr saved the first phase. And a genuinely cracking superhero ‘team’ film, perhaps the best other than Endgame.

unlabelledView post →Thunderbolts* is definitely the best Marvel movie in a minute, whatever that's worth, but this back-to-basics adventure still can't quite outrun the emptiness at the center of the MCU. Florence Pugh rules tho. my review*: www.indiewire.com/criticism/mo...

unlabelledView post →Recently saw The Thunderbolts* again. It’s honestly such a good movie. It’s what Zack Snyder thinks his justice league movie is. It’s a very grounded character explorative movie about trauma but still balances those campy aspects of superheroes in an entertaining way

unlabelledView post →63rd Film Watched in 2025 - Thunderbolts* (2025) This actually ended up being one of my favorite post-Endgame Marvel films. Such an emotionally resonant story with terrific performances (God bless Florence Pugh!), great action, and a good use of comedy that doesn’t undermine the serious moments.

unlabelledView post →> I've been asked a lot over the last few weeks whether I was going to go and see *Thunderbolts*, and every time I'm asked I give the same answer: lol absolutely not. I’m all for reading a whole piece before casting any judgement on the author or content, but when your **opening line** comes off as snotty, sarcastic sixteen year old who’s _way too cool_ to watch a _comic book film_, it’s hard to give them a fair shake.
