neutral · AI labelView post →Casting Adam Scott, Robert De Niro, Michael Keaton + Michelle Monaghan led me to expect too much of serial killer drama The Whisper Man. James Ashcroft directs a Russo brothers production of Alex North’s book for Netlfix; it's watchable fare but no more. 3 out of 5 film-authority.com/2026/09/01/t...
neutral · AI labelView post →Watching the Whisper Man bc i am a bit of a sucker for a creepy nursery rhyme but this film is soooo wanky about serial killers. Like bro these people are really not that smart. Like cops, your average serial killer is more often a rapey weirdo who wants to kick puppies than a Genius Intellectual

neutral · AI labelView post →The Whisper Man (2026). Mixed reviews online for this. Feel like it's a bit Marmite. I enjoyed it immensely. Adam Scott is on a roll this year with his movies. He's joined by De Niro and Michael Keaton. It starts like a supernatural horror and then morphs into a thriller #Netflix #FilmSky
positive · AI labelView post →Now watching: The Whisper Man. This book, by Alex North is absolutely amazing. Spooky. Eerie. Creepy. I hope this movie does a good job. If you haven’t read Alex North I highly recommend his books.

positive · AI labelView post →I watched the movie adaptation of Alex North's "The Whisper Man" last night on Netflix. It has been awhile since I read the book but I think it might be one of the rare exceptions where the movie is as good as the book if not better. #booksky
positive · AI labelView post →My @slate.com colleague @lauramille.bsky.social expertly eviscerates Netflix's The Whisper Man, which inexplicably corrals an all-star cast into a serial-killer plot as predictable as it is nonsensical. Read it instead of watching it! slate.com/culture/2026...

positive · AI labelView post →107.) 19/09 - The Whisper Man (2026) Deeply disturbing movie, based on a book as far as I'm concerned It's about a child serial kidnap-murderer who ends up being killed by his own father, who was a child serial kidnap-murderer as well sounds silly but it was actually intriguing

neutral · AI labelView post →The Whisper Man was a much better movie than I anticipated. I only knew Adam Scott was in it. The rest of the cast was great too.
positive · AI labelView post →Watched The Whisper Man, heavy well known cast, bit weak on the writing, but good movie nonetheless. #FilmSky
neutral · AI labelView post →Just watched THE WHISPER MAN, a movie that really speaks to the drop-off in quality of watchable mid-tier mainstream cinema. That same movie in 1990 becomes a TNT comfort watch; now, it’ll get lost in the scrolling universe.
negative · AI labelView post →I haven't read The Whisper Man yet, but I really liked the movie. We had fun with our theories (Mama 🐻 guessed the killer's identity nearly from the start; she wins this round). The cast was great, including a very appropriately creepy Michael Keaton.
positive · AI labelView post →If you love Silence of the Lambs and Sinister and also don’t care if movies are bad you have to watch The Whisper Man on Netflix. Such a movie.
negative · AI labelView post →Watched THE WHISPER MAN last night. Solid performances from De Niro, Scott, and especially Monaghan and legitimately unsettling killer/mystery premise aren’t enough to lift the movie out of mediocrity. Lack of atmosphere saps the film of any real dread. Watchable, but I’ll forget it by next week.
neutral · AI labelView post →THE WHISPER MAN on Netflix is a serial killer thriller with an extremely strong cast, which saves the weaker parts of the plot. Fair warning: The victims are all children, which hits hard. Fortunately, the focus isn’t on their suffering, but rather on catching the killer. Read our full review!

neutral · AI labelView post →Word of advice - do NOT watch 'The Whisper Man'. It is a terrible film. Great actors in it but .t God its.a bad film. Dont waste your time. You'll be mad and disappointed. Youre welcome. Bonus drinking game" a shit every time Adam Scott says "My boy".
negative · AI labelView post →I watched The Whisper Man last night. It's nearly a good film - decent performances, the core plot works, and it's got a Scandi Noir kinda vibe.
