(Steve and I have a film shoot coming up 6/20 and I have an outline due soon, so I’ll crawl back to life. But I’ve been living in this world for more than two years, between two short stories, a spec script & the novel.)

The very best place to find the story is in my collection, BEHOLD THE VOID, which is available in pb, ebook, and audiobook. More Info: pfracassi.com/behold-the-v...

unlabelledView post →I remember being obsessed with the credits of Enter the Void in high school and when I saw the film itself I thought it was going to be the biggest film of all time except it wasn't and everyone hated it. Climax ended up his normie friendly movie and Irreversible still terrifies people.
unlabelledView post →The Void is his very own movie poster what with the orange and blue 😅
unlabelledView post →16:40 - THE VOID (2016) If The Endless is dry and cerebral cosmic horror, The Void goes wet and visceral. Not a perfect movie, by any means, but at this point in proceedings we need to get gooey again, and The Void wastes no time delivering that.

The Void in us all connects to heroes who struggle with mental health & that makes for a unique movie. Rating: 8/10 Thanks for rec @monarchdafey.bsky.social

unlabelledView post →Watched Thunderbolts* for the third time. I think it's now a top 5 MCU film for me. I'd say the Void is a great metaphor for depression but really there's no metaphor. Really funny, sad, meaningful, uplifting film. Sorry it was perceived as a flop because it's so good.
unlabelledView post →We watched ENTER THE VOID for the first time. It was a trip. I can't recommend it, exactly, but it is a Gaspar Noe film through & through & I appreciated it & what he did. I'm glad I watched it but likely won't ever again. It could have been at least 20 minutes shorter; I liked Climax much more.
