When asked why he was so set on archiving all the atrocity, Ike simply said that one day there would be those who would claim it never happened.

I recommend both. 👍

I’m screening “Aliens”, “The Terminator”, “The Signal”, “Attack The Block”, etc. You gotta make “Brick” just to make “Looper” for $30 million to get $300 million to make “The Last Jedi”

unlabelledView post →Yeah! Elsewhere in the thread I mentioned The Signal Engineers, which is mostly a very bright and colourful film, but the final segment showing nighttime track maintenance is shot (I'm sure for practical reasons) in noir-y B&W, and the contrast with the earlier scenes makes it all the more effective

Surveillance (2008) - starring Bill Pullman, directed by Jennifer Lynch and produced by her father David Lynch.

Later after joining the Signal Corps he "acquired" some surplus film reels which he used to continue learning. Films would often wrap and then spend another year in post-production just to wait on his work.
