unlabelledView post →What a shame. Also The Saint is an underrated movie
unlabelledView post →The Saint is such a cool movie.
unlabelledView post →MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE solved the spy movie disguise issue by pretending Tom Cruise did masks so good that he just looked exactly like the other actor. THE SAINT, however, did things the hard way and we have to respect it.
unlabelledView post →Dang, RIP Val Kilmer. I'm overdue for a rewatch of The Saint. It's been a couple decades and I loved that movie as a kid.
unlabelledView post →The key to success in America is simply watching the 1997 Val Kilmer Elisabeth Shue film “The Saint” and believing it is a true story.
unlabelledView post →DANSE MACABRE (1922) is an experimental music film made in Chicago by Dudley Murphy. The film was meant to synchronize with player piano roles of the Saint-Saëns piece using proprietary technology. Note that the fuchsia frame is likely supposed to be dark blue. That dye tends to "fade" to neon.
unlabelledView post →I feel like we need to watch The Saint movie this week in honor of Val Kilmer. It’s one of 3 places where Simon’s name comes from. RIP Val Kilmer.
unlabelledView post →There's a touching optimism to the 1990s The Saint movie. They decided a Vladimir Zhirinovsky manqué would take over Russia via a double-cross involving a revolutionary new energy instead of just being an extremely well-armed organized crime lord who throws everyone he doesn't poison out of windows.
unlabelledView post →Well, if we're all reminiscing about our fave Val Kilmer movies, here's mine: The Saint (1997). Yes, yes, I know. But that movie was oddly formative for Lil' Kat.
unlabelledView post →Running through a protesting crowd in front of the Costco in Russia, screaming “Let me in, I’m a member,” like I’m a character in the Val Kilmer-Elisabeth Shue film, The Saint.
unlabelledView post →RIP Val Kilmer. I was always a huge fan. Especially of The Saint, which by all accounts was a ridiculous movie, but I’ve loved it since I was a kid. Especially this bit, where he tries to seduce a woman and so puts on leather trousers and a crazy wig and reclines on a bench sketching a statue. 😹
unlabelledView post →ITC film series like The Saint or The Persuaders are shit. Rich people shagging women in distress. Only Randall & Hopkirk is any good. And one of them is dead.
unlabelledView post →My favorite Val Kilmer film is The Saint. Totally underrated movie imo.
unlabelledView post →May I approach the bench, Your Honor? I’d like to make the case that “The Saint” is, in fact, a spy movie. And a damn good one at that.
unlabelledView post →My mom is gonna be so sad about Val Kilmer. That was her man when I was growing up. I've probably seen every 90s Val Kilmer movie as a kid. The Saint and Tombstone were staples of my childhood. Great actor and seems like he was a good man. Rest in peace, Val.

unlabelledView post →Images from DANSE MACABRE, an independently produced musical film from 1922 sold with player piano rolls in order to perfectly sync with the Saint-Saëns music that inspired it.
unlabelledView post →Up there with The Saint in New York and Lone Wolf Spy Hunt as the best B movie of all time.
unlabelledView post →Watching Val Kilmer's 1997 adaptation of "The Saint" tonight for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON...
unlabelledView post →PERSON OF THE DAY. 23 May 2017. British TV and film actor Roger Moore died (aged 89). He starred in the TV serials The Saint, The Persuaders and Ivanhoe before becoming James Bond 007.
unlabelledView post →Please do yourself a favor and watch The Saint and see how a pretty goofy post Cold War action spy movie had better /literally everything/ than any similar contemporary movie you’ll watch produced by Netflix or Amazon
unlabelledView post →Very sorry to hear of Val Kilmer's passing. I was always a big fan of him. Iceman, Mad Martigan, Jim Morrison, Batman, Doc Holiday, and as The Saint (one of my all-time favorite movies--criminally underrated). Glad his work will endure. Rest in peace. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/01/m...
unlabelledView post →He was amazing in the movie, The Saint. He and Elisabeth Shue lit up the screen together!
unlabelledView post →The Saint is a great movie with an ulti-90s soundtrack.
unlabelledView post →#MovieMadness Movie with a great soundtrack The Saint (1997) The soundtrack was better than the movie!
unlabelledView post →The soundtrack to Val Kilmer's The Saint movie. Am absolutely brilliant collection of 90s music.
unlabelledView post →THE SAINT is exactly my kind of earnest pulpy fun I'll take a thousand of these over one Bourne movie
unlabelledView post →RIP Val Kilmer. The Saint is an underrated movie.
unlabelledView post →Finished @vajra.me's excellent novel The Saint of Bright Doors while biking across the Balkans. Reading it feels like watching a Ghibli movie playing out in my head. It's got the same inherent dreamlike, hypnotic quality while also being a parable for our (modern?) way of life. Highly recommend it!
unlabelledView post →Val Kilmer did some very fine acting work, which should definitely be acknowledged. But I'm an 80s girl, and I will always and forever remember how he was extraordinarily hot in THE SAINT, a very thirsty film based around excuses for disguises and one "oh we have to get naked to warm up" scene.
unlabelledView post →I am only 14 years late to watching the movie Paul And this movie is wall to wall star studded AND I shit you not I only caught a reference to The Saint - 'May I ask what you're searching for?" - because I recognized the cadence of it from a *Jensen Ackles* comiccon clip. i have never seen The Saint
unlabelledView post →I loved his "so ridiculous it's awesome" movie The Saint with Elizabeth Shue.
unlabelledView post →Favorite film is a much better question than best film because in no universe could I pick the Saint but if it’s favorite I can be like yeah it’s better than Heat, for sure
unlabelledView post →Watching The Saint movie from 1966 which knew of not.
unlabelledView post →Stole the show as Holliday and it was in a movie full of heavy hitters. The Saint was goofy as hell but I still love it.
unlabelledView post →Val Kilmer is an amazing actor. A favorite of many. It's Val Vilmer month on @nafmcpodcast.bsky.social. I chose The Saint because gd do we love a wig and accent. Most interesting man alive @thenatewolf.bsky.social and jealous father @murrman5.bsky.social. Listen! open.spotify.com/episode/136M...
unlabelledView post →The Saint. A fine if forgettable Val Kilmer spy movie with a soundtrack that is a perfect time capsule of 1990s electronic/alternative. Daft Punk, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Everything but the Girl. So so good.
unlabelledView post →Remembering actor William Sylvester (31st January, 1922 – 25th January, 1995), one of the stars of the 1961 #cult #kaiju movie "Gorgo" (pictured right). Sylvester's extensive credits include roles in "Danger Man", "The Saint" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968).

unlabelledView post →My hot film take for the day is that people do not give mid movies the attention and respect they deserve, The Saint is not a masterpiece or even a cult classic or an undiscovered gem but it is a perfectly acceptable way to waste a couple hours and they help you to better recognize truly great ones
unlabelledView post →The Saint Young Men manga gets its first live-action film on December 20 with returning stars Kenichi Matsuyama and Shōta Sometani plus Gintama writer/director Yūichi Fukuda!
unlabelledView post →who still hasn't picked up the Saint Seiya movie Blu-Rays are in luck as Discotek have put out more copies from the archives! get them while suplies last and show that Saint Seiya love
unlabelledView post →But, in all seriousness, please buy the Saint Seiya movie BD set. The movies, on the whole, are overall very enjoyable & I think do make for a decent introduction to the general feel & style of Saint Seiya. The fact that it's still in print is honestly a miracle, in & of itself.
unlabelledView post →In real life, the event that made the Chicago Police focus their efforts on taking down Capone was The Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre in 1929. In the film, this is replaced with a bomb detonating in a pub, killing a little girl. 28/34
unlabelledView post →🇬🇧 Duran Duran - Out of My Mind (1997) #MusicSky #Movie I saw “The Saint” on TV for the first time in a while, so sharing the ending theme. With John Taylor gone, Warren Cuccurullo handled guitar and bass, while Talvin Singh’s tabla and other world touches give it a unique, almost exotic feel.

Louis Hayward returns after first playing the title character back in '38. I thought it was dull, but Diana Dors has a brief yet memorable role as "The Blonde."
