I'd love to give this one a thumbs up, but with these in-game costs there's no way. I thought this was a game where you grinded towards getting the tools so you could fix most of the issues yourself and then use your hardearned tools and money to get even more. This game is more of a "you'll work for other people and do nothing but replace parts, and if you completely restore something to perfection we'll take all your money and give you 10% of what it cost you to restore it" So then again,…

At first the game is quite enjoyable and relaxing. It isn't going to win any awards for its graphical design, and some have complained that it is very poor in textures and overall quality, I don't seem to mind that it is "basic" in nature, but what I do mind is the very repetitive gameplay. I didn't unlock any of the other parts of the "House" as it just got a bit boring after a while. So the game is you take on orders for different items where you have to replace parts that are broken or…

I got pretty addicted to the game. I was disappointed that cleaning, sandblasting and repainting doesn't increase the value you of your items. I felt lied to\. lol You only really need to do that if a customer asks for it..

I want to like this game, it is a really good base of what can become a good game. You don't really repair anything, you remove a piece that is broken, and replace it with a new piece from the website you buy items from, there are no tools or anything in the game you can use except for a paint table, a washing station and a sandblasting tool. I have spent about 6 hours into the game now and I must say that it is not worth buying in its current state, it's better to wait and see if you can…

It's a good game but one of the least chill playerbase I have ever seen. Complaining about things that will be balanced eventually anyway and such. There's nothing wrong with the game, no game breaking bugs, no weird glitches, nothing. It runs how it's supposed to and does what its promising. Oh no the prices are slightly unbalanced however will we cope. By waiting until the balancing issues are dealt with. I recommend touching grass in the meantime. Edit from November 2023: Basically…

It's Ok, very repetitive you will be spending most of the time waiting to unscrew parts. While the days are: choose four orders, order needed parts, end day. Next Day: complete the orders when parts arrive. Rinse and Repeat. Sadly the game has No Auto Save, so I lost around three hours of gameplay when my computer crashed. Wasn’t caused by the game, just another game in the background. Wish the game at least made a save every time you ended the day. Will give the game another try, but the…

6/10, but could be 8/10 with some minor updates. A very relaxing game, in my opinion. I love the mindless flow I can get into, kind of like with Power Wash Simulator. However, a few quality of life additions could easily be made. I don't have great short term memory and some of the part names become very ambiguous as the devices get more complicated. Please add a toggle filter to the store that allows you to filter parts by current accepted jobs, or at least to show the needed parts list for…

A nice calm game with some rough edges that could be sanded down. It's exactly what it promises, without much hand holding. I hope the devs can polish some parts of the game, just to make it easier to find replacement parts without having to type everything in (just having different sorting options like alphabetically, or depending on what is currently in the shop/on the worktable would already make things much easier). But even if not, it's still a good game at a decent price if you're…

With all the shooters and RPGs, it’s a calming moment when a game comes out that allows players to sit back and play the lowest risk, cathartic experience. The gameplay is simple and easy to understand. Players will enter their repair house and dismantle, fix, clean, and sell a multitude of appliances and objects, like House Flipper. Players can use auction houses to bid and obtain new things to repair. Other outside-the-box locations like barns, flea markets, and abandoned storage units hold…

Abandonware apparently. While I have found the gameplay to be interesting, I started running into problems at 10 hours. All of a sudden, without warning, I was getting orders that required owning a sandblasting workbench and a cleaning station, so I failed some of those orders while waiting for shipment of these objects. Then, when I tried to place the sandblasting workbench, I couldn't put it where I wanted to because the placement action didn't work properly and the only thing I could do…

This game let me down... It sounded so good and then I start playing it and it is so repetitive. You barely make any money from any of the orders so expect to grind your way to open the new areas or get new tools. There is no story... This game reminds me of a worse version of workshop simulator. That game also had painting, washing, sand blasting and repair... but at least it has a story and better graphics. I will wait to see how the developer improves the game and will edit my review later…

Extremely narrow selection of items to fix so you'll do the same thing over and over again. Also, the UI is too simple and yet, too complicated. I couldn't figure it out what piece was broken in a console, due to the fact that the broken piece name didn't match the name in the game. Broken.

The Repair House offers an interesting concept with its premise of restoring old items and uncovering hidden stories, but its execution leaves something to be desired. On the positive side, the game's visuals are charming and evoke a cozy atmosphere, making the act of repairing items feel somewhat satisfying. The variety of objects to repair also adds some diversity to the gameplay, ensuring that players won't get bored too quickly. Additionally, the game's soundtrack is pleasant and adds to…

This is one of those games that I keep coming back to. It can be played at any pace you want, it is enjoyable, and laid back type of game. It is pretty new so I think the developers are working on little fixes to make game play even smoother, like some list feature when purchasing parts for items that need repairing. But something like that doesn't detract enough from the game to make me not want to play it. For me this one is a keeper. It can become a little repetitive, but again that is…

I will start this review off by stating that I absolutely 100% recommend this game. It is fun, relaxing, and fulfilling. However, there are some...pretty glaring issues. 1. Sometimes parts do not come in when you order them. This leads to missed deadlines and loss of money. 2. While the washing, sandblasting, and painting have been reduced in price, the pricing is still absurd. It wouldn't cost $15 to paint a single item. It also wouldn't cost $15 to sandblast a single item.. 3. There are…

Maxed performance settings in Borderless Windowed, game would not launch with a memory leak, no obvious means to reset configuration. Game needs serious optimization, it should not be putting such demands on my system for the level of graphics and texture work on display. Not sure if the game is broken, or the UI is just so obtuse that I can't figure it out. I've spent an hour IRL time cleaning, sandblasting and painting an item, just to NEVER get the prompt to install one of the pieces of the item, and there's no way to just take it from inventory and install it. Is it possible that it has to be installed in a specific order? Sure, but there's nothing in the UI that tells me what that order is. I was looking for a calm relaxing game, and this game…

I actually think this is pretty good. I really liked PC Building Simulator and Car Mechanic Simulator which are similar to this game. I couldn't find many things about this to complain about. I think it's just a matter of preference. If you don't like mechanical games i.e. taking things apart and replacing pieces then you probably wouldn't like this.

I enjoy collecting, repairing and displaying items. Early on it seems like you dont make much money but stick with it and lots of other options open up and you can make a lot of money and buy heaps of items, go to auctions, garage sales, barn finds, local markets etc.

Great game and is fun to repair all the different items. Has a great selection of repairable items but, when the rent comes due; it's $1,500 and you can only make about $800 up to that point. It take all the money you have and thus you can't buy any repair parts and the game is pretty much over and unplayable at that point. Your only option at this point is to start a new game after making it to level 7. Very frustrating to say the least.

The Repair House, developed by Claudiu Kiss and QUANTUM LOGIC GAMES and published by Sold Out, is a detailed and meditative restoration simulator that captures the quiet satisfaction of bringing forgotten objects back to life. Like in Barn Finders, where I can collect part by part to assemble unique items! Washing, sandblasting and painting will ABSOLUTELY NOT increase the final selling price of your item. <<THEY FIXED value problem, wow...>> Just collect it, assemble, get it in perfect condition, put it on your shelf and enjoy <3

I'd recommend this game, knowing that progression is rather short, it's fairly quick to get to the maximum level, so the items unlocked are fairly quick. The game is fun for some items but tedious and a bit confusing on others. The cleaning/sanding/painting system is very expensive for some parts, with a minimum of $100/200 per step depending on the item, and in the case of an NES console, restoration of the top cover easily cost more than $300, not counting the other parts, for a retail price…

The game is fun in the beginning, but to be honest I got bored of the game pretty soon after starting. I like the idea and concept of the game. I really love the idea of this game, and I really love what the game is trying to be. However, from the person who made a GOOD game in the past (PC sim) I not only expected more, but I expected a game that works on release. Mind you, this isn't even being sold as early access. It's being sold as is, and it's way too buggy, way too imbalanced, devs are taking way too long to update things (and I know it's not easy, but the communication has just stopped entirely). Loved the idea and concept of the game. The in game costs are ridiculous making it so you can't actually buy and restore anything from the flea market, costs you more to clean a part than it does to buy it. This takes all the fun and joy out of the game as anything that makes you money is mindless and repetitive. It's ok, decent variety of objects to work on and orders where you can either repaint existing parts or specifically paint new parts was interesting, but not much to do other than paint and buy new parts, creating items almost from scratch was fun but not really profitable, parts in catalog sometimes not ordered alphabetically and you are basically forced to memorize what parts you need when ever you buy them. Worst of all 2 of the hardest acheivements don't seem to work.
