unlabelledView post →Reminds me of THE NUMBER 23 (2006): a Hollywood film ripping off the work of Robert Anton Wilson while he was dying in poverty.
unlabelledView post →Told my therapist, "I feel like Jim Carey in that terrible movie The Number 23" He said he liked that movie and now I can't go back.
unlabelledView post →Here's a link to our full episode on crap 2000s Jim Carrey crime "thriller" The Number 23. Originally Patreon only, I have made it free to warn others on the dangers of watching this film. darktalk.substack.com/p/the-number...
unlabelledView post →This is why I'm a defender of the movie, "The Number 23", people say the premise of someone going crazy over numerology is stupid, but, like, it really happens to people.
unlabelledView post →Just remembered the "Infinifilm" dvd of The Number 23 (2007, starring Jim Carrey) and got so pissed off. The "Infinifilm" part just meant that every 30 seconds an annoying ass notification would pop up on screen to show you special features that would pause the movie and was unable to be turned off
unlabelledView post →Film #63 for 2026 is The Number 23 (2007), which gets my rare F grade. It's inconceivably stupid on every level. There is no point in parody; you can't make it look any more ridiculous than it manages on its own.
unlabelledView post →the movie in question was The Number 23 which I guess I expected to be bad but I didn't really expect it to be as weird as it was? like it isn't actually about what the premise might imply it's about, it's about something totally different?
unlabelledView post →The Number 23. Great movie but yeah it leaves scars 😅
unlabelledView post →The movie The Number 23 but Jim Carrey instead sees only things that are secret code for ABDL
unlabelledView post →Going to make my partner watch The Number 23, a movie everyone hates except teenage me loved it. They've never seen it and only know that I bring it up every time we encounter a number 23 in our lives.
unlabelledView post →The closest you get to that as far as I am aware is the movie The Number 23. Unfortunately it is not a good movie, lol.
unlabelledView post →This piece starts off with and uses an image from The Number 23, which is a movie I think only 23 people have seen. It's a weird little film, I am not even sure you can call it "good". But anyway this construction also makes me think of other stylistic devices used by AI, like em-dashes.
unlabelledView post →Last night I randomly remembered that The Number 23 was a movie that was written, shot, and released.
unlabelledView post →When an odd looking book is sitting on a shelf in a thrift store and my writer's mind wrote 2 manuscripts, sold the movie rights, and then came up with 2 alt endings in 5 seconds flat. One was similar to The Number 23 and the other resembled The Notebook. #writerswrite #writerbrain #booksky 🌈📚
unlabelledView post →Considering The Truman Show is my favorite movie ever and the last name of my own name is an homage to that film, I’m going to have to go with The Number 23
unlabelledView post →Love the movie, think it's been largely forgotten, but it would work so well. That, or the Number 23 with Jim Carrey BUT the only human is the insane woman from the flashbacks. Make 'em feel more trippy.
unlabelledView post →Remember in that terrible Jim Carrey movie, The Number 23 (2007), where Jim Carrey's character took like three-quarters of the movie to figure out the name "Topsy Kretts" was a homophone for "Top Secrets"? I remember. I wish I didn't.
unlabelledView post →He did a Jim Carrey ranking. And one film was titled, The Number 23. And how 23 was everywhere. And so Schaff played along with that film’s premise. As he said it, “imagine 67 as a horror movie.”
unlabelledView post →"It's like if you turned Six Seven into a horror movie villain" - Schaffrillas on The Number 23 starring Jim Carrey.
unlabelledView post →Have you seen The Number 23? Sometimes I fear I am like the guy from that movie 😅
unlabelledView post →“If you’ve never seen Jim Carrey’s psychological thriller The Number 23, then congratulations. It is a film about a man who sees the no. 23 so many times that he ends up going bonkers. I used to think this film was stupid. However, now I appear to be living it” www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
unlabelledView post →The Number 23 is the first movie my wife ever played me from her DVD collection. I sorta gritted my teeth through it.

unlabelledView post →I'm in the mood for psychological thrillers in the same vein as "Angel Heart", "Shutter Island", "Seven", and "The Number 23". What are your #movie recommendations?
unlabelledView post →Every other movie I've seen where an actor known for one thing does a role completely outside of that has been amazing, Jim Carrey in The Number 23, Will Farrell in Stranger than Fiction, etc, but somehow Ryan Reynolds was still just playing himself.
unlabelledView post →The Number 23 is so good because Jim Carreys in it, usually in comedies and the movie is a thriller. rewatching lol
unlabelledView post →I loved Eternal Sunshine and The Truman Show, but ... The Number 23. Partly the film itself (the stylistic choices were awesome, if the script was a little iffy at times), partly 'cos Carrey showed a new flavour of unhinged and did it well, and partly 'cos someone has to love that movie.
unlabelledView post →Highly recommend watching the movie “The Number 23” it’s a 10/10 movie 🔥
unlabelledView post →1000% this movie. The Number 23 was damn good too

unlabelledView post →Ha ha Have you seen his movie The Number 23 ❔
unlabelledView post →Had a similar thing with a group of people at a Christmas party when I was telling them Jim Carrey was in a suspense/serious movie called "The Number 23"... "So it's called 23?"... "no The Number 23, not just 23, The Number 23" "But 23 is a number?!?!"
unlabelledView post →The Number 23 is my pick, the whole film is just one monumental whooshing noise as the point of the synchronicity of it went over Carrey's head
unlabelledView post →Yes man is another great JC movie!! Ohh if you want a different JC movie, The Number 23!!

unlabelledView post →Some people just can't get over the premise to see the actual film. Saw the same visceral reaction to The Number 23, getting stuck on the premise rather than the story.
unlabelledView post →2025 movie watches and rewatches Movie #738 The Number 23 Synopsis: Walter Sparrow becomes obsessed with a novel that he believes was written about him, as more and more similarities between himself and his literary alter ego seem to arise. Rewatch My Rating: 4.5/5
unlabelledView post →Very dark mystery-drama at a time (IIRC) Jim Carrey moved to doing more drama based movies. I had seen this one before probably back in 2007 but don't remember a whole lot. It's an okay film and Carrey for his part was fine, however Virginia Madsen was smoking hot. The movie did at least keep my attention until the end but not sure I'd revisit again. 3.0/5
