The Crimson Rivers
Directed by Mathieu Kassovitz
Two French policemen, one investigating a grisly murder at a remote mountain college, the other working on the desecration of a young girl's grave by skinheads, are brought together by the clues from their respective cases. Soon after they start working together, more murders are committed, and the pair begin to discover just what dark secrets are behind the killings. From TMDB

Cassell & Reno are brilliant as cops investgating Se7en-style deaths at an elite college... just a pity it didn't know how to pay off the finale.

unlabelledView post →The Crimson Rivers is a very fun French serial killer movie along the lines of Se7en. The interplay between the 2 lead detectives covers up for some of the ridiculousness which gets out of hand towards the end
unlabelledView post →One thing about this film is how much of a fluke it feels given the quality of Kassovitz's subsequent films - anyone seen The Crimson Rivers?
