I was obsessed, and when I would play roller hockey in the yard, I would be Adam Banks (the Best player on the team and most skilled). In the first movie, he has the number 9. That's how I created my stage name.” WILLPOWER X ADAM BANKS

To Catch a Duck was one of two episodes inspired by a Cary Grant movie (because 90s kids love Cary Grant) and arguably the best one 💎🗡️ #themightyducks
neutral · AI labelView post →It gave us the Mighty Ducks and the pro union -anti child labor propaganda film Newsies! The latter was a "flop" that eventually became so popular on DVD and in licensing requests it spawned the tony award winning broadway show so.

They just pee in the drinking water. They pee in lakes. Ponds. Your bathtub. They pee anywhere they want, any time they want. Thats why they all hang out at parks, and the government doesn't stop them. Think about it man. You don't see lions and tigers and bears at the park......because Disney owns the rights to The Wizard of Oz. So you can't…

neutral · AI labelView post →I started rewatching The Mighty Ducks today. it was a huge movie when I was a kid, and the type of movie that makes even a shrimpy Asian kid who lives in Georgia think he could grow up to be a hockey star. anyway we'll see if it holds up

neutral · AI labelView post →> Hey Disney, bring back your 2D Animation Disney used to churn out plenty of entertaining live action shows without issue. The problem isn't with the medium, it's with the company. They've fired too many writers, put too much stock in CGI, and devolved too much of the editing process to the marketing department. But the idea that the folks who brought you Tron, The Mighty Ducks, and Pirates of the Caribbean can't make good live action cinema is crazy.
neutral · AI labelView post →It also feels childish. The men can't see the adult women naked even if the woman purposely walk into the room knowing the men are there. They are not teens or kids, if the women dont care then dont act like children. Then oh the girls got clicky and acting like children again. These are adults and not a single one is a team player? This season feels written by the Mighty Ducks or Big Green writers. Very 90s team sport movie vibes.

The Stranger (2010)—and I have to be very specific because there are many films with that title—stars Steve “Stone Cold” Austin. Bottom line: this is a cromulent action movie. Not amazing, not awful, but there are worse ways to spend an hour and a half. In many ways, The Stranger resembles The Bourne Supremacy—a man with no memory, unsure of his identity, but…

positive · AI labelView post →I love how the Anaheim Ducks just came into existence because Disney made bank off of the Mighty Ducks film and just decided "fuck it" and managed to get the NHL to award them an entire franchise two months after the film got released. The 90s seemed insane.

I definitely see that, and it's a shame because in outline form this season sounds like a can't-miss, and the casting for the squad seems spot-on (that's Vel from Andor!!!!!). Unfortunately, the comedy is broader and people's choices are serving some very thin sitcommy plots rather than the characterizations laid down in prior seasons. The show misses Bill Lawrence a lot more than they…
