unlabelledView post →Movie recommendation for tonight: The Man From Nowhere God damn phenomenal movie, if you enjoyed the John Wick movies, this will be right up your alley. A man who runs a pawn shop befriends a little girl, and goes on a bloody rampage across the city when gangsters kidnap her. It's amazing.
unlabelledView post →The Man From Nowhere is a 2010 South Korean action movie that I don't think gets the praise it deserves. It was cited as an influence on Monkey Man by Dev Patel
unlabelledView post →Watched The Man from Nowhere and it's crazy funny how many times this movie's nachos got reheated throughout the 2010s. Watching this after everything that came out after was like a bombardment of cliches, and then it's like wait, this movie did it first!!
unlabelledView post →also, if you want an action movie that is not turn your brain off the same way but is just Really Good, I must continue to spread the gospel of The Man From Nowhere, a 2010 Korean thriller about a retired badass killing the shit out of a bunch of people to save a little girl it rules

unlabelledView post →okay I’m very late here but The Man From Nowhere (Korean movie) is absolutely incredible and has some superb knife fights also it’s a “retired badass goes on a revenge rampage to save a little girl” movie so you know it’s gonna be good
unlabelledView post →The Man From Nowhere I've recommended this movie a lot over the years, but for good reason, it's incredible. Peak action. A solitary guy who runs a pawn shop befriends a little girl who then gets kidnapped, and he goes on a rampage through the criminal underworld to rescue her.

unlabelledView post →The disappointed noise I made at discovering Won Bin has not made another movie since The Man From Nowhere... This is a good action movie. Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Massive guilt-as-motivation plot to it, but really well done.
unlabelledView post →Post 4 of your favorite films 📽️ - Chasing the Dragon - The Man from Nowhere - The Rock - Independence Day Idk who to tag 🤷
unlabelledView post →Thinking about how these two movies premiered within 10 days of each other. THE MAN FROM NOWHERE is a great neo-noir movie to watch for #Noirvember. #Filmsky
unlabelledView post →Oh look they're making a movie just for me The Man from Nowhere was my first South Korean movie and has a special place in my heart for that. If there's anyone I'd want to see remake it, it's these guys
unlabelledView post →i watched The Man From Nowhere(2010) to honour her death the other night, she was so talented in it. Stahelski admitted John Wick was inspired by this film and u can see the influence completely. go watch it if u haven’t seen it.
unlabelledView post →The Man From Nowhere made me realize that "Lone Wolf and Cub" is my favorite genre of movie. It's so good. And then you have Léon, Man on Fire, Mandalorian, and so many others
unlabelledView post →I'll also throw in: 'The Stone Tape' (TX 25/12/72) 'Schalcken the Painter' (23/12/79) and although not a supernatural story, the CFF film 'The Man from Nowhere' (1975) has a huge Lost Hearts vibe for about ¾ of its story.

unlabelledView post →The first movie I watched on the Prime account I share with a friend was The Man From Nowhere and now I get a helpful "Korean audio unavailable, playing in English" message every time I watch something.
unlabelledView post →Now Watching The Man From Nowhere (2010) #filmsky #moviesky #actionsky 📽️🎥🎬 Looks like the February version of the #100YearsFilmChallenge is becoming action themed
unlabelledView post →Just finished watching "Monkey Man" Dev Patel made a hell of a movie. It would make a great double feature with Lee-Jeong Beom's "The Man From Nowhere"
unlabelledView post →The Man From Nowhere has a few of these which is so nice in such a brutally violent movie (if you haven’t seen it it’s a masterpiece)

unlabelledView post →Rewatching The Man From Nowhere for the first time in years and WON BIN HASN'T MADE A FILM SINCE?? Holy hell. I always felt like Jang Hyuk from The Swordsman carried the same kind of energy and "quiet magnetism" attributed to Won Bin in his IMDB profile. But I'm stoked my boy Joe has the part.
unlabelledView post →I finally saw The Man From Nowhere. It's an excellent action film.
unlabelledView post →I can highly recommend the CFF film The Man from Nowhere (1976). It's a 1hr children's film that plays out like a cross between M. R. James' Lost Hearts and The Amazing Mr Blunden. Some terrifying moments for a CFF production. Directed by James Hill of The Avengers fame. Try and source a copy.
unlabelledView post →Brian Tee is also in the Korean action-thriller No Tears for the Dead from The Man From Nowhere director. It's not as great as that film, but it's got it's moments.
unlabelledView post →Oh this is really heartbreaking. The Man From Nowhere is one of the great action films of the past 15 years - and she gave the film so much heart.
unlabelledView post →I wrote a film review for director Lee Jeong-beom's South Korean crime drama The Man from Nowhere (2010) starring Won Bin & Kim Sae-ron. boxd.it/8PoSfF
unlabelledView post →I am shocked at how dark, violent, and moving Lee Jeong-beom’s South Korean crime drama The Man from Nowhere (2010). A raw film like Oldboy! Won Bin is cool and devastating as the brave hero. Kim Sae-ron is adorable as the little girl. John Wick took heavy inspiration from this whole movie.
unlabelledView post →Watching The Man from Nowhere. This movie fucks.
unlabelledView post →This is not really a horror or slasher movie, but it does have its bloody moments and it's one of my favorite movies. It's called The Man From Nowhere and it's free on Tubi. You do have to kind of deal with the subtitles since it's a South Korean movie but it's well worth it.

unlabelledView post →GREAT movie! Turned my mom onto Korean cinema with this one. The Chaser is another great one. Koreans know how to do horror and thrillers! The Man from Nowhere was great too! I think it kinda inspired John Wick.
unlabelledView post →for #movie night last night, we watched "The Man From Nowhere" 2010 written and directed by Lee Jeong-beom. Epic thriller/drama. BUT if you watch it on amazon, you MUST watch it in Korean with English subtitles. Turn off the auto-AI translation with extreme prejudice. You have been warned.
unlabelledView post →For a multitude of reasons I may or may not get into in this thread, Joe Taslim and Kenji Tanagaki are going to blow our hair back at worst, melt our brains at best with the remake of The Man From Nowhere. This a film we don't deserve but I'm pretty confident we're getting.
unlabelledView post →Miss....If you will, I highly recommend The Man From Nowhere. It's a movie that you would like and could watch it with your Valentine. It's free on Tubi. I've watched it dozens of times. I watch it when I feel lonely.
unlabelledView post →There's a movie called The Man From Nowhere that has a very similar plot but a MUCH different execution. I do recommend that, but it's wholly an action film. If your thirst is for nothing but revenge stick with I Saw The Devil. Personally I like to split the difference: Lady Vengeance!
unlabelledView post →Its Korean night here since mrs p is away. Spicy Korean fried chicken, fancy beer and the Korean movie that influenced John Wick in a big way, “The Man From Nowhere”.
unlabelledView post →The Man from Nowhere. It's a Korean action/revenge movie, hits the "messing with the wrong man" tropes just right, and has some of the most visceral action scenes I've seen outside of The Raid. It's on pretty much every streaming service, too.
unlabelledView post →I just finished The Man From Nowhere. Loved this Korean action drama film. Some of that action was crazy!
unlabelledView post →Yes! And that 1-on-1 fight — it might be my all-time favorite. Simply incredible. If you want another foreign-language recommendation, check out The Man from Nowhere! Fantastic action, but the emotional core is even more powerful. Cannot stay dry-eyed by the end of that movie.
unlabelledView post →Not going to post it because the buildup makes it even better, but The Man From Nowhere really sends it at the end. Entire movie is amazing.
unlabelledView post →I love every movie on this list except I haven’t seen The Man from Nowhere. I think I need to fix that.
unlabelledView post →There's a classic South Korean Film called "The Man from Nowhere" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Man_from_Nowhere_(2010_film) And there is an almost scene for scene Hindi language remake called "Rocky Handsome", which I managed to catch once while it was available to stream.
unlabelledView post →South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron found dead at her home in Seoul Police said there was no sign of foul play. Kim, 24, is best known for her role in the 2010 film The Man from Nowhere www.scmp.com/news/asia/ea...
unlabelledView post →Here's my little dude 🐈⬛ His name is Tae-sik. We named him after the main character in a Korean action movie "The Man from Nowhere" because he showed up on our doorstep the day after watching it, so he became the "The Cat from Nowhere" 😹
unlabelledView post →I want to watch 'The Man from Nowhere' again... this intense stare appeared in my dreams XD The film is super dark and has a lot of triggers so check them out before watching, but there is a well done cinematic fight scene with no bgm so you feel the abaolute tension 👌
unlabelledView post →If you haven’t seen The Man from Nowhere…it’s an amazing film
unlabelledView post →Korean movies that slap: - Tae Guk Gi (first one I ever saw) - JSA - Shiri - The Man from Nowhere (holy shit this movie is awesome) - I saw the Devil - Parasite - What a Man Wants - Kill Boksoon - The Housemaid - Commitment - Secretly Greatly - Uprising (just watched)

unlabelledView post →A great foreign action/mystery film i would recommend The Man from Nowhere. I think it’s still on Netflix.
unlabelledView post →I thought The Night Comes For Us was a lock for best action movie I saw this year then The Man From Nowhere showed up. Unreal. And love how one villain looks like he is in a Fallout Boy tribute band. #filmsky
unlabelledView post →I’ve been on a real action movie kick as of late. Probably to do with life and needing to just relax and watch some gobshites get hammered. Anyway currently watching The Man From Nowhere #filmsky
unlabelledView post →I watched a Korean film, The Man from Nowhere. It's like Taken meets Man on Fire but the director thought, child kidnapping isn't bad enough let's throw in organ harvesting into the mix
unlabelledView post →The Man From Nowhere is such a brilliant movie! I think it might be time for a rewatch actually.
unlabelledView post →My (I think) 6th grade teacher showed us this UK made-for-TV movie called The Man from Nowhere. It haunts me to this day.
unlabelledView post →If anyone has Korean action movie recommendations, I'd love to hear them. I just watched The Man From Nowhere and really enjoyed its unique vibe compared to typical U.S. action films. With so many options, it's tough to know which ones are worth watching.
unlabelledView post →not saying it's the best movie ever made but aside from Ginger Snaps, The Man From Nowhere is one of the movies that profoundly affected my psyche
unlabelledView post →Super stoked to rewatch two incredible masterpiece Korean films. “The Man From Nowhere,” an action thriller about a man rescuing a girl. “The Wailing,” a horror film about mysterious killings in a small village. Owning them on 4K was a no brainer. Cannot recommend them enough.
unlabelledView post →#NowWatching The Man From Nowhere (2010) Director: Lee Jeong-beom This movie is dark and so, so good A heartbreaking, action packed thriller about a man who decides to help the young daughter of a drug addict feel like she's cared about. Highly recommended
