unlabelledView post →I was never a Hugh Grant fan until I saw him in Guy Ritchie's, The Gentlemen. Now his truly chilling performance in The Heretic has me solidly in his corner. The movie is excellent and Grant has one of those faces that gets better as he ages—the coy boyishness replaced by time and experience.
unlabelledView post →That is absolutely the best response he could have made. He should do a movie about the Gentlemen next just to double down.
unlabelledView post →Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike and Anthony Hopkins are set to star in Guy Ritchie’s next feature ‘WIFE & DOG’. 🎬 Described as ‘a return to the colourful, back-stabbing world of the British aristocracy Richie explored in The Gentlemen film and TV series’.

unlabelledView post →The Gentlemen is such a weird movie, really fun and entertaining in the manner of early Guy Ritchie but also multiple Facebook-ass scenes of proper, honorable old-school gangsters teaching hip-hop thugs a lesson and it ends with the good guys doing an antisemitic hate crime to Jeremy Strong

unlabelledView post →I have a weird affection for The Gentlemen because it was the last pre-lockdown movie I saw even though it’s so racist and antisemitic I genuinely can’t believe it was released this decade
unlabelledView post →Watching The Gentlemen (movie) and all I will say is Guy Ritchie does not disappoint
unlabelledView post →"You couldn't lift a wheel of cheese, you cunt", Raymond Smith, in The Gentlemen. Still my favorite use of all time. Also, don't watch that movie if you're offended by the C word or really anything else.
unlabelledView post →Watched the first two episodes of The Gentlemen on Netflix tonight. The film is actually my favorite of Guy Ritchie's work. I'm enjoying it so far.
unlabelledView post →Finally watching “The Gentlemen,” and I think that Hugh Grant saying “Don’t be cunty”—within the first five minutes of the film, mind you—is my new favorite thing.
unlabelledView post →The Gentlemen (2019) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you enjoy quality dialog and posh gangster goings-on, then this film is for you. A prime slice of Colin Farrell served with a flight of stunning star turns. Subtitles on. 🎬🎥 #filmsky

unlabelledView post →Whoever suggested not just the movie but the TV series The Gentlemen was dead on. Big fan of episode 1.
unlabelledView post →I thought The Gentlemen movie was absolutely fantastic, but the series based on its world was even better. Insanely good stuff. Toffs, gangsters, geezers, scousers, gypsies, shenanigans, mentalists, whip smart, clever, violent, and funny. Just top, top-tier telly.
unlabelledView post →been watching The Gentlemen on Netflix, and it hits such an Ennisian register in one episode that I truly believe The Gentlemen would've been an amazing Carlos Ezquerra comic. Theo James already looks like he'd be an easy translation to Ezquerra's world
unlabelledView post →Drop a movie that traumatized you as a kid. Not a movie, but, the Gentlemen from Buffy. I didn’t scare easy as a kid but when I saw these guys on TV I noped out of there so fast
unlabelledView post →I hate that the cost of everything going up has basically killed The Gentlemen Hecklers doing live shows. The cost of a venue, staff, promo, and licensing the film would mean we'd need to charge an admission fee that neither I nor the audience would be comfortable with. Damn.

unlabelledView post →I will not give the British credit for much but they are so much better at swearing than us. And I say that an expert swearer. Anyway. I'm watching the movie The Gentlemen. The swearing is a master class.
unlabelledView post →Finished season 2 of THE GENTLEMEN. If you were not aware, it is the good Guy Ritchie. I thought the movie (which is similar, but its own thing) was good, and this is even better. There was one REALLY lazy plot development in S2, but they recovered quickly with a whole entire Vinnie Jones Episode.
unlabelledView post →I'm happy to see more movies like Dust Bunny, Hail Mary, and Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't die. But, I also like TV shows better, Dark Matter, The Gentlemen, Lucky, etc. Because, they go longer and have time to dive into the details. Movies seem rushed and truncated to me after watching a series of eight or ten episodes now. I don't want another huge franchise, I just want somewhat original stories NOT based in established universes. It's better if they don't go on for 10 sequels spaced years…
unlabelledView post →Fuck I haven't seen a film more laser focused at my 80 year old dad since Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen
unlabelledView post →The Gentlemen. Mean-hearted tedious and racist toxic masculinity. That kind of masculine performance where smugness, pricey whiskey, and loudly expensive menswear is someone's whole personality, but in movie form
unlabelledView post →Sometimes you wanna watch a clip from The Gentlemen just as a guilty pleasure, and then it's SO RACIST for a movie made in 2019 that you can't breathe.
unlabelledView post →Heretic is a bit of a good film, isn't it? Loving the new Hugh Grant revival where he's really able to show off his chops, between that and The Gentlemen, I am here for it!

unlabelledView post →Just getting around to watching Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen (2019) and I am legitimately angry that this movie has a 75% / 84% Rotten Tomatoes and is certified fresh. This is garbage! You can instantly tell it was written by Ritchie, and it is embarrassing. This is strictly worse Snatch / LockStock
unlabelledView post →I’ve been watching Netflix’s The Gentlemen series, a derivative of the movie of the same name. It’s ok, & I’ll probably finish it (completeness fetish) but it’s giving me a lesson in less-is-more. The stylized exaggeration and jokes that were a hoot over 113 minutes get flaccid and tired at 10 hrs.

unlabelledView post →"The Gentlemen" (2019) is my favorite mobster movie because it asks, "What if a character was such a successful criminal that the movie doesn't even have to mention cops and chaotic chavs were a greater threat to business?" and "What if the most annoying man in the world tried to do blackmail?"
unlabelledView post →I would watch a heist movie starring Colin Farrell as Bullseye partnering with Colin Farrell as the boxer from The Gentlemen as roommates who hate each other but are incredibly successful criminals.
unlabelledView post →If you haven't seen it, watch Guy's movie "The Gentlemen". It's on par as both Lock and Snatch.
