unlabelledView post →The theater does a lot of arthouse and classic films, and they often have someone come out first and do a little background talk about the movie. For the Flash, they had a local disc jockey come and do some comic book trivia. With me in the audience. Completely anonymous. 2/

unlabelledView post →Sometimes I think about how they put Nicholas Cage Superman fighting a giant spider in the Flash movie to gain favor with "fans" like anyone ever gave a fuck about that but as an amusing curiosity

unlabelledView post →“A lot of people aren’t interested in The Flash as a character” is a dumb statement. I think complaining that your movie with a lead actor who was in the news cycle for being an unhinged danger to himself and others that was part of a dying cinematic universe failed because of women is dumber
unlabelledView post →You might remember the FLASH movie trivia story I told recently. Well, they did the trivia again for Supergirl, it was pretty fun, I refrained from answering but there was a group of three guys wearing Superman shirts and the middle one knew ALL the answers! ARGO CITY, MY FRIEND!

unlabelledView post →Are people excited about all of those X-Men actors being in the next MCU movie? I’m assuming it’s going to be like when the Flash movie had all of those cameos just to kill them all off or when Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths had all those cameos just to kill them all off or when Deadpool-

unlabelledView post →Thinking about 2023's "The Flash" again. Honestly didn't think it was still possible to make that type of bad movie in the 21st century, I thought that the suits would intervene and stop you.
unlabelledView post →I'm sorry, you release The Flash (2023) to the public, where all of God's children can see it, and you've forfeited the right to ever say a movie is unreleasable and should be vaulted for the tax write off.

unlabelledView post →It reminds me of the Flash movie where the suits thought Keaton could turn shit to gold simply by standing near the batsuit with a script written in crayon.
unlabelledView post →I was not prepared for how bad the Flash movie is. This is a war crime
unlabelledView post →Everything I learn about The Flash movie tells me that WB deserved to lose every dollar that they did.
unlabelledView post →Maybe it was because it was a truly awful movie and starred a violent abuser? But that's just me. I'm sure it was because people don't care about the Flash.

unlabelledView post →Remember when the Flash movie was about to come out and all that leaked publicity said it was the greatest movie of all time, everyone who saw it was moved to tears, etc.? Was it all bullshit or was someone sincerely like “This is winning an Oscar!“ upon seeing 90s Nic Cage CGIed in a Superman suit?
unlabelledView post →The Flash movie failed because of the problematic lead, the writing sucked, the DCEU was basically dead, and the uncanny valley CGI, not because of the character. The CW had a popular Flash show for nearly a decade, but sure, blame women for your shitty movie bombing.
unlabelledView post →I do not like to put full blame on any of the creatives who worked on The Flash because I truly believe that movie was never going to work regardless of the talent that was attached to it. But getting that same team to work on your universe's Batman movie is actually baffling to me.
unlabelledView post →I feel that after saying with a straight face that Black Adam and The Flash were releasable you should never be allowed to shelve a movie again.
unlabelledView post →I am watching The Flash, for my sins. I cannot abide the patter. Absolutely horrible. Maybe the worst patter I have experienced in a film.
unlabelledView post →Andy the Flash movie failed because it was the 20th shit DC movie in a row with a box office poison lead, 3000000 fan screenings half a year before it came out, the most artificial hype marketing known to man, and a Keaton Batman to appeal to boomers that don’t go to movie theaters anymore
unlabelledView post →Whenever I stretch, I sing "Stretch!!! Aha!" to The Flash Gordon theme song by Queen! It's become an inside joke with my son. 😆😂 Such a great film and soundtrack!
unlabelledView post →The Flash is my favourite DC character, and pretty much always has been. The movie failed because it was mid, and Ezra Miller should be in jail.
unlabelledView post →I have a young child, seeing a movie a mere three weeks after it came out basically makes me the Flash.
unlabelledView post →Watching the Flash because I've never seen it before. This is the most unhinged fucking movie I've ever seen in the 40+ years of existence it was either made on a dare or on lots of cocaine. Perhaps both.
unlabelledView post →The big story about Marvel clumsily reinventing film and television production and the thing about DC not actually using real Nic Cage as Nic Cage in The Flash show two things: the studios fully believe they're the filmmakers, and the superhero movie industry is too decadent to survive as is
unlabelledView post →I love the Flash. He and the various Speedsters are in my top five of heroes/groups in DC. The movie flopped because it was like so much of the Snyderverse: a gross misunderstanding of the character. For comparison, The Flash was a CW hit. Why? Because it... 1/3 www.joblo.com/andy-muschie...

unlabelledView post →You made one of the most detestable comic book films ever from a production and marketing standpoint, and that's just ignoring the dumpster fire the actual film was. That's why The Flash failed.
unlabelledView post →I think if shit like Flashpoint and the Flash movie are what we are gonna get out of it more than not I think that the Flash needs to have his Time Travel powers just straight up Removed until further notice
unlabelledView post →I watched The Flash film yesterday and I'm still chuckling at recognising a UK bus stop marking on the streets of Gotham (Glasgow).
unlabelledView post →It also featured Flash villains, which the movie did not. It is crazy how they made a Flash movie that didn't focus on the Flash and his Rogues Gallery.
unlabelledView post →I’m shocked Zaslav rejected a film that got positive test screening results, written by James Gunn, before he directed the new Superman film. Scrapped it for a tax write, and yet allowed The Flash with Erza Miller to go theatres. But I’m gonna show my support for this film.

unlabelledView post →In other words: the Flash most likely failed through a multitude of other reasons like the overall quality of the film, that it was attached to a dead cinematic universe, and the whole Ezra Miller controversy Not the fault of the character
unlabelledView post →There was a Flash show that had 184 episodes over 9 seasons that ended weeks before your movie, Andy. People are DEFINITELY interested in the Flash, just not YOUR Flash, because he's played by an abusive criminal in a film that was stuck in development and production hell.
