unlabelledView post →As I said last night on @11thhourmsnbc.bsky.social Trump, Speaker Johnson, and Republicans remind me of the end of the movie Justice League when Steppenwolf is attacked by his own parademons. And AquaMan says to Batman, "Recognize that smell?", and Batman says, "Fear". I smell fear.
unlabelledView post →My favorite part of the 2017 Justice League movie is where Steppenwolf discovers disco music and announces that his name is now Dancenwolf
unlabelledView post →For the inevitable Justice League movie (🙏), I hope they bring Jurnee Smolett back as Black Canary. Give her the blue jacket and fishnets.

unlabelledView post →Are people excited about all of those X-Men actors being in the next MCU movie? I’m assuming it’s going to be like when the Flash movie had all of those cameos just to kill them all off or when Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths had all those cameos just to kill them all off or when Deadpool-

unlabelledView post →When I say that nothing sells, I mean compared to cape stories in other media. The number of people who have watched John Stewart in Justice League as children easily eclipses the number of people in that age group who read Hal Jordan comics. And Hal's movie TANKING illustrates that.
unlabelledView post →I once co-produced an Emmy-winning short film...and one of our production assistants was Geoff Johns, who would later go on to become a massively successful film producer & screenwriter, including Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Aquaman, Shazam! & more.
unlabelledView post →My favorite part of superman was that Gunn appears to be teeing up a Justice League movie based on this classic run
unlabelledView post →Saw Superman today and really enjoyed it. Reminded me of animated and Justice League stories. ExactlybwhatbI wanted from a Superman movie. None of this desaturated, moody nonsense.
unlabelledView post →One of my favorite DC animated flicks and, in all honesty, the single best Justice League movie ever made. One of Dwayne McDuffie's true hits, and that's saying something considering how incredible his career was.
unlabelledView post →I have read comics my entire life. I have seen some of the most mid superhero movies in theaters, and even enjoyed them. I saw Green Lantern and went “that was okay.” Batman vs. Superman was so bad, it actually dissuaded me from seeing a Justice League movie. To this day, I haven’t watched it.
unlabelledView post →It blew my mind when I first watched the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern movie that Hal Jordan was first because I was so used to John Stewart being a Lantern in the Justice League cartoon.

unlabelledView post →If you're excited about #Supergirl (2026), and you're looking for a warm up before you watch the movie, you might want to give Superman The Animated Series & Justice League Unlimited a watch. Supergirl has one of the most complete character arcs in the entire franchise.
unlabelledView post →Special note to Justice League War with the Parademon TF sequence at the start of the movie. But this comes under more 'biological recycling' with how the characters are turned to mush and then pressed into a henchman shape rather than a trad transformation. www.shadowlordinc.com/tfclip.view?...

unlabelledView post →After seeing @jamesgunn.bsky.social reveal the Justice League mural, I had to do a quick watercolor of my favorite, Max Mercury. Hey! They should do an Impulse movie/show!
unlabelledView post →I've been spreading this around online but DC & WB's latest animated Justice League film apparently copied my Black Lightning design from 2014, a design you can find on my deviantart or on pinterest. Having been rejected from multiple DC design jobs, this stings particularly bad.
unlabelledView post →Honestly while I still very much dislike this movie, I feel like I've eased up a lot in regard to Batman V Superman in recent years. Probably helps that the theatrical cut of Justice League put into perspective for me just how much worse that film could've been.

unlabelledView post →Even with the low expectation setting, I can not believe how bad The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is. It reminded me of watching the Joss Whedon cut of Justice League, but that movie had an excuse. This felt like it was made by people who have no object permanence. Unbelievably incoherent.

unlabelledView post →I watched the 2017 Justice League movie last night for the first time. Not as bad as I thought it might be. Certainly not the worst super hero movie. Still haven't seen Man of Steel. It's amazing how not having to pay for a big screen outing can temper a movie experience. :)
unlabelledView post →I know we don't acknowledge the original cut of the Justice League movie exists, but Batman saying "we don't have to understand this world to save it," is a fantastic character moment.
unlabelledView post →Superman good. not even a huge fan of him or DC stuff, but loved how this movie approached the soft reboot and the character. kinda want to go back and rewatch some old Justice League now.
