unlabelledView post →I got the movies Family Plan and Instant Family mixed up in my head and was very confused by the Family Plan 2 trailer I just saw. (Never seen either movie, I've just seen clips of Instant Family, I think)
unlabelledView post →And yet this reminds me of how Mark Wahlberg throws a bottle of tequila at a bad guy in THE FAMILY PLAN and the movie goes in slow motion to show you the label of the tequila, which just happens to be his brand, so Dwayne is even behind in proper movie shilling of his product.

unlabelledView post →The Family Plan 2 - I will plan to have my family not watch this again. A movie set at Christmas, not a Christmas movie. I really want to like Marky Mark and co but a really weak script, dubious acting, forced comedy, outrageously unbelievable situations, it was genuinely hard to enjoy. A shame!

unlabelledView post →Back in Action was the most popular movie on Netflix over the first half of the year. A witless version of The Family Plan (I *know*) with no idea how to get from Act II to III. A waste of Cameron Diaz's return. And the apostrophe in Brendan O'Brien's name in the credits goes the wrong way.

unlabelledView post →Let's move this discourse on, I'm sure we can all agree that The Family Plan 2 (2025) is not a Christmas film. That one is definitely just a film set at Christmas. And one that spends most of the bit set in Paris forgetting that it's meant to be set at Christmas.

unlabelledView post →I found out Mark Wahlberg made two (2!) movies, The Family Plan and The Family Plan 2, for Apple TV+ today. And even now I'm like: no he didn't. If he did I'd have heard about it; he's a big movie star. People hear about the movies he makes, and marketing always talks about them.
