Dr Frank N Furter, Wadsworth the Butler, Nigel Thornberry and King Arthur in "Spamalot" are just a sample of his many brilliant roles. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

The silent era lasted for four decades internationally and oversimplifying it to one style of story is silly anyway.

British drama bc the course description mentioned “What the Butler Saw.” I thought that was an Agatha Christie type mystery movie. Reader, it is NOT. I have never been more wrong. It ended up being a lecture about dark humor in stage plays.

And I was right. They misremembered a live action film as an anime.

unlabelledView post →Goddammit. Our past, hacked from beneath us. Tim Curry's died. When I think of him, it's his "Nobody controls my mind, Shadow!" from Russell Mulcahy's 1996 Shadow, but also his turn as Darkness in Legend, the Butler in Clue...and obviously Frank-N-Furter.. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

unlabelledView post →That British poster likely isn't from the original release. Also the point remains that the film is titled Halloween, in contrast to the new mummy film which literally includes Lee Cronin's name in the title, much akin to "Lee Daniel's The Butler" for similar copyright issues. Chill out or fuck off.

A master of physical comedy. 🎭 Also, humanity collectively needs to have a serious discussion with the universe about which 80 year old “celebrity” needs to be next. I have ideas.
