The Wind in the Willows: Concise version of Kenneth Grahame's story of the same name. J. Thaddeus Toad, owner of Toad Hall, is prone to fads, such as the newfangled motor car. unlabelledView post →Public Service Announcement: The 1949 Legend of Sleepy Hollow *is* on Disney Plus, but you have to specifically search for “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.” Searching for “Sleepy Hollow” or “Wind and the Willows” won’t show it.

unlabelledView post →As I have finished in reading the book, I began to look for its many adaptations. Of course, I am aware of Disney's take on the book in The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad and how much it took liberties with it but then I saw Cosgrove Hall's take on the story and I LOVED it.
unlabelledView post →The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) Ok so, I actually really enjoyed this one?? At least half of it. The Wind in the Willows segment was great and I enjoyed the whole cast. On the other hand Sleepy Hollow was just kinda whatever. If the whole thing was the Mr. Toad story it'd be better.
unlabelledView post →The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) Probably the best of the Disney package films, at least it's the one I enjoy the most. Both segments are fun and the Headless Horseman is badass. 3.5/5

Ichabod whistling before the Headless Horseman jumps in is top notch

unlabelledView post →Once again, since I'm trying to be inclusive of as many streamers as possible, Disney+ has THE ADVENTURES OF ICHABOD AND MR. TOAD streaming. Toad, of course, is not horror, while Ichabod adapts the classic Washington Irving horror story, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
unlabelledView post →The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad i still feel pretty positive about it overall! these stories are wonderfully animated in so many ways. it's a shame neither of these got to be the full features the animators wanted, but they're remarkable little pieces all the same. PACKAGE FILM ERA DONE!!
unlabelledView post →The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) I'm sorry but literally every Disney package/anthology film I've seen that isn't the Fantasia films or The Three Caballeros has been just BORING 2/5
