This game has an issue in the second level that a lot of people are facing that literally prevents you from finishing it. This issue was addressed to the team months ago and still no fix. Also, the positive reviews here are very very sketchy. People with only 1 review posting here. Especially coming from people from Spain (this game was made by a Spanish developing team). Very little time was spent on this game from all the reviews so…

unlabelledView post →TERRACOTTA is an action-adventure video game developed by Appnormals Team and published in the United States by Freedom Games and plusDSgames. Gamers play as one of the terracotta sculptures made for the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, that were then buried with him for protection after death. Gameplay First, thank goodness the developers give players a choice between using the keyboard and using a controller. I grew up using a controller, so playing on the keyboard is just harder for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really cool game that mixes both puzzles and action to fight the enemies. It has a really cool concept with two dimensions and the use of energy to create barriers! Also, I love the designs of the different scenarios and the music
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting idea, the music and the visuals are nice. There is some storyline as well in there somewhere, but nothing important, the small stories are nice. But this game should be in early access or in its current state cheaper. In the later parts of the game it even feels like I am supposed to be the one testing it for bugs. In the last chapter at least you can bypass a lot of puzzle elements just by jumping "creatively". I think that was an oversight by the developers, but I was really…

unlabelledView post →An interesting game, for sure, but far too janky to be enjoyable. First of all, the English text is complete gibberish most of the time. I understand English is not the dev's first language, but I don't understand Spanish or Chinese! What scant tutorial there is makes no sense; I needed to look at a youtube video just to learn how to play. The controls themselves are also super fiddly and not very intuitive. Even Controller support is iffy, and sometimes struggles to register when a button is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great adventure with nice touches and beautiful art and fantastic ambient music. Good story with Asian wisdom mixed in. Gets more difficult the further you advance. Clearly draws from games like Zelda and similar ones. If you are a fan of Zelda, you must play Terracotta
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What seams very simple and easy at first quickly becomes a lot harder and challenging. It took me a while to get the QI dynamics and the movement right but really liked it. The artwork and the soundtracks are amazing. Recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoyable after a long day at work, the music is relaxing, the story seems to be very detailed and the artwork is beautiful. I really like the dynamic of changing between the two worlds as it makes it all less stressful and more like a puzzle. There is kind of a legend of zelda dungeon vibe as well. Definitely worth it!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unique application of puzzles combined with some action. I love the setting and the Asian lore, controls could improve a bit and some parts look a bit difficult for me, but overall I'm having quite some fun with it, in a refreshing way.

unlabelledView post →Unfortunately a game breaking bug on second level, where you are supposed to use a new skill, but the key bind for that does not work, neither does the controller bind. That prevents me from continuing with the game, luckily under 2 hours, so I was able to refund it.

unlabelledView post →#boardgame night of Terracotta Army (2022) followed up with a quick game of Big Shot (2001). I really enjoyed TC's rotating action rings. I always felt I had good options to choose from even if actions and scoring could change on a dime.. leaving me to recalculate my turn last minute.
unlabelledView post →Really good game. The puzzles are fun, Qi is such a great mechanic thats used well throughout the game, it's got great art and music inspired by Chinese culture. 8.5/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Takes too long to load for a 2D game and save points are way back from the point you "died".
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like very much that you have to change between two very different game modes to solve the puzzles: one more peaceful and another game more arcade. The aesthetics and the music make this game a really beautiful experience. Still playing it but loving it so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It can be a pain in the ass to continue playing in the late game but one of my favorite army compositions is a frontline of Terracotta Sentinels and a backline of Sky-junks led by a rich dork in a balloon. It's expensive to maintain and super vulnerable against armies with lots of flying units but
unlabelledView post →Some really interesting puzzles, and a cool setting and art style!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game! the mechanics are quite original, having to battle against enemies without a weapon is very challenge and sometimes can be quite difficult
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Complete nonsense of a game that I have no desire to sit through, and I'm refraining from using stronger words. I spent maybe 15min on this game and that too much already. Why? The game drops you somewhere without any introduction or even a notion of what is happening. Randomly it adds what has a semblance of a story but is mostly "mystical ramblings for the sake of sound mystical that explain nothing and are over the top cheesy". Of course this is completely detached from what you are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another predictable Terracotta Toddler rant. He plays a dangerous game with innocent lives. It will be sweet to watch it blow up in his fugly face.

It seems to be a puzzle game where you are constantly running away from the enemies while trying to solve the puzzle. What genre is this? It is too bad as the puzzles are quite interesting. Even the boss battle is a nice puzzle but just too frustrating as I kept falling off the platforms or getting stuck in the slow world while the boss just…

Original and interesting mechanics, challenging gameplay, well-crafted scenarios and animations, as well as music with excellent arrangements are the qualities that draw attention! Graphics/Animations: - Well-made pixelated graphics with strong colors that refer to games from the 90s. - Very well-crafted animations that represent the elements presented in the scenario well. -…
