Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
It's been 10 years since John Connor saved Earth from Judgment Day, and he's now living under the radar, steering clear of using anything Skynet can trace. That is, until he encounters T-X, a robotic assassin ordered to finish what T-1000 started. Good thing Connor's former nemesis, the Terminator, is back to aid the now-adult Connor … just like he promised. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →When my sister & I went to "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" the theater started playing "Piglet's Big Movie" instead! Packed audience all looked around confused. Then, from the neighboring auditorium, a chorus of horrified screams... as 150 toddlers saw a robot foot come down onto a human skull.
unlabelledView post →I've said it before and I'll say it again: Terminator 3 is a mediocre action movie and a bucket of ass as a Terminator movie, but damn if it didn't hit my brain like a truck a formative moment.

As such, we're tossing the episode up on Patreon as a freebie: www.patreon.com/posts/vod-te...
unlabelledView post →NOTE: This is the date for Judgment Day given in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.” Because of the events in that film, specifically the death of scientist Dr. Miles Dyson and the destruction of Cyberdyne Systems, in “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines,” Judgment Day shifts to July 25, 2004, at 6:18 PM.
unlabelledView post →Now watching Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. The post Cameron Terminator sequels aren't completely without merit, but the drop in quality is undeniably severe. I've never cared for this one, but I also barely remember it, so I'm going in with somewhat fresh eyes #Filmsky 📽️

unlabelledView post →Terminator 3 might kind of be the worst movie ever
unlabelledView post →just today JUST TODAY I got a reel saying “they don’t make movies like THIS anymore!!” (complimentary) and the movie was Terminator 3 and no one who had a developed brain when that movie came out has that opinion

unlabelledView post →Watching Terminator 3, since I got my balls blown off by how fuckin good 2 was a while back. Somehow, this had been the only Terminator film I'd seen for a long time. It's still not very good! But I do like the bit where Arnold Terminator reveals that he's the one who ultimately killed John Connor.
unlabelledView post →What’s a movie you genuinely enjoy that is known for being bad? Terminator 3 A truly goofy film that is also perfect.
unlabelledView post →Here's my #Letterboxd review of Terminator 3, for anyone wondering where I landed on it. #Filmsky
unlabelledView post →Terminator 3 is a largely-forgettable movie, with too many misogynistic jokes about the "terminatrix" villain, ill-advised attempts at humor in general, etc. It also has an ending so unexpectedly gutsy that it kinda makes me even angrier at the rest of the movie.
unlabelledView post →Movie franchises that started PERFECT but became terrible with too many sequels: 1) Jurassic Park 2) Terminator 3) Indiana Jones 4) Jaws And I think Alien is teetering on the edge, personally. What else? Again, I'm talking 10/10 or 9/10 films whose sequels got REALLY BAD.
unlabelledView post →#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched 1) death, taxes, Japan fucking up a good gimmick with religious nonsense 2) Brain hurting animation, but I liked the twist on Terminator 3) Gorgeous Korean animated movie taken down a bit by predictability 4) Big guy punches GHOSTS and it's somehow not great.
unlabelledView post →Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines isn't as bad as I remember. The ending makes up for a movie that's insistent on repeating its predecessor's story beats at every turn. It's also unfortunate the story doesn't focus on Kristanna Loken's "Terminatrix" more. She's a huge highlight of this film.

unlabelledView post →I rewatched Terminator 3 and it’s so funny to watch a straightforward apocalypse movie about genuine artificial intelligence that’s seeking to destroy humanity on purpose and in real life we’re speed running to the same conclusion with random word generating machines with no intelligence.
unlabelledView post →That's a good movie, but "Terminator 2" is one of those rare sequels that's way superior to the initial installment. ("Terminator 3" is certainly watchable, but it isn't a good movie.)
unlabelledView post →Today's "watching whatever movie is on Samsung Movie Hub right now" film is Terminator 3 and it feels timely because fuck AI.
unlabelledView post →Terminator 3 The first half is a fun dumb action movie with some creative setpieces but then they have to actually develop the plot and characters and it sucks

unlabelledView post →Now watching Terminator: Dark Fate, yet another attempt at making Terminator 3. Haven't seen this since the theatrical release, but I remember genuinely liking some aspects of it...and really disliking the rest of it #Filmsky 📽️

unlabelledView post →What's a film you watched too young? My parents were quite firm on scary/adult films. But my Dad might have made an exception with Aliens and Terminator 3.
unlabelledView post →Oh hey I didn't realize this was directed by the same guy that made Breakdown. That was a pretty good movie, so maybe I'll like Terminator 3 this time. It's possible!
unlabelledView post →…then they somewhat forgot how to make it good and pumped out the fairly middling same film again in Terminator 3. Then they finally decided to write a new movie in the fairly decent Terminator 4.

unlabelledView post →Once I had to watch the movie Bloodrayne to prep for an in-person Wizard interview with the woman from Terminator 3, and despite having Ben Kingsley and Meatloaf in it, that movie is entirely stolen by Zane who wears the world's worst wig yet is convincingly a vampire count.
unlabelledView post →Tomorrow night at 8pm EST I will be playing through the Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines game on PS2. We'll get to expand on the Terminator movie that no one wanted more of in a "world-class videogame" (director's words, not mine). @ashaxle.bsky.social will be joining me for added commentary.
unlabelledView post →Some years ago, never mind how long, my lovely brother asked if I wanted to go see "the Terminator movie", and I said yes. I thought he meant a screening of this movie, but he did not; he meant Terminator 3, which, I gotta tell you, does not make a lick of sense if you haven't seen the first two.
unlabelledView post →watching Terminator 3 for the first time (w/ Blank Check commentary), from the jump this movie is JUICELESS, just incredibly more generic and flat, even if it has a lady Terminator inflating her boobs
unlabelledView post →Terminator 3 isn’t a great movie by any means but I really admire it’s blassy ending.
unlabelledView post →I love how even in Terminator 3, which is basically the "John Connor mans up to face the rise of the machines" movie is 1) him being totally useless and 2) his mom is still incredibly badass despite literally being dead at that point.
unlabelledView post →Name a movie that’s wayyyy better than people say. Mine: Sticking with sci-fi threequels... Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines That ending is GREAT, and should have stuck as the ending of the franchise. #Filmsky #Moviesky #SciFi 📽️

Anyway, hope you enjoy it. (I already reviewed the first two installments. I like those vids) youtu.be/Yao0j8YTf1U #FilmSky
unlabelledView post →54) Terminator 3 What a fucking worthless piece of shit movie. Not only does it completely undo everything that made the previous movie so good, but it also absolutely fails to stand on its own as a movie to begin with. The literally only thing I liked about this one was some of Arnie's lines.
unlabelledView post →I can't believe I'm saying this...but Terminator 3: Rise of the machines. I walked out that theatre in disbelief that they had the balls to give such a mid movie THAT GOOD of a final scene.
unlabelledView post →I don't think I saw a single R-rated movie before I was in my teens, and it was because my Dad wanted to get me caught up before seeing Matrix Reloaded and Terminator 3
unlabelledView post →I’ll go with Signs for great movie with bad ending, and Terminator 3 for mediocre movie with great ending.
unlabelledView post →The most mid film? Terminator 3.
unlabelledView post →Terminator 3 is such an odd movie. On one hand, it's a surprisingly competent action movie. It's fairly well done all things considered. It just has the unfortunate problem of being a direct sequel to Terminator 2. A shadow which it can NEVER escape and will always taint it.

Matrix Reloaded is a top contender, as are Men in Black 2 and Terminator 3. But what is the biggest drop between a movie and its sequel?
