The game is absolutely adorable, the graphics and the soundtrack fitting the game incredibly well to create a chill vibe. The puzzles themselves are well thought trough, with there usually being several possible solutions to any given level. My favorite part is the custom map editor allowing you to mix and match all of the different game mechanics. The custom maps give this game great replayability. It's important to note that in…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has so much charm to it. I played the demo when that first came out a while back and man, I actually got so lost in the ambiance and the really relaxed vibe to it. If you are a fan of relaxed puzzle games that will challenge your mind in new and creative ways this is the game. Everything about this game is just fun, the art style the music and the concept itself. I mean there haven't been that many games that have released that have actually been just as enjoyable as this one. If you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sweet Dreams Alex is a wholesome puzzle game, where you have to make long enough labyrinths to keep Alex's Nightmares away until morning comes. The gameplay reminds me of a reversed role tower defense game, where you only use walls to buy some time, which doesn't sound that difficult at first but later level features fields, which the nightmares gets buffed and can go faster or teleports, which can make their route shorter if you don't pay attention. The game is not trying to be more action…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun puzzles that are very unique and fun. The different worlds change the gameplay a lot letting the puzzles evolve a lot. The puzzles give a good challenge while never feeling too hard. Very cute and charming
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hello, it's a fun little puzzle game with a cozy athmosphere, the soundtrack is very relaxing and fits well. Would recommend to give it a try.

Overall Rating - Average ★★★☆☆ First Impressions A solid puzzle title somewhat acts like a palette cleanser to me, breaking up too many action experiences with a different style of gameplay. I'm not much of a fan of sokoban, block-sliding puzzles, but Sweet Dreams Alex (SDA)…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have had a hard time deciding what to say about this game. While the gameplay is indeed charming, and there are quite good backdrops, it seems that the game doesnt have a whole lot to it. That isnt entirely a bad thing, either. The game promises to be no more than what it is, a simple maze builder. A tower defense without the towers, if you will. I do enjoy the simplicity. However, the game simply does not hold my interest for long periods. That is where I have issues. The whole…

Reminds me of the song All I Have To Do Is Dream. [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752-3-point-play/] Follow our curator for similar games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes a nice casual puzzler. Was a blast playing through the first world on Stream and am already looking forward to more! It looks deceptively simple at times but still manage to have some quite complex solutions at times!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Relaxing, yet challenging puzzle game. Starts out very simple and gradually adds in more and more challenges your way. The atmosphere that the game is trying to get across, comes across perfectly. I find myself going: 'one more and then I'll do this, one more level and then I'll do that' and before I know it, I'm 30 mins beyond the hour that I set for myself when I'd stop. PROS: It ramps up its difficulty at the right pace The atmosphere is exactly what they were going for It's challenging…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a sweet little puzzle game. And It's harder than it seems^^ Beautiful music and cute story :3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first i thought the first 25 levels were too easy, then i reached the 2nd stage and it is so well designed
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, this game was exactly what I needed after a long day at work. I was blown away how calming and peaceful it was, even in the main menu. Only played the game for about 15 minutes, but it's already impacted me enough to want to write a review. Thanks Baumi.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for a new puzzle game to play while the winter months slowly roll in? Look no further than Sweet Dreams Alex! This game is absolutely adorable game with simple-in-premise design that gets very difficult as your progress. There's so much content to be had with the 100s of levels in the game as well as a level editor. I'm no-where near done but t his game will be staying in my rotation for the foreseeable future. There's a story throughout the game that is found by clickables…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nightmares look both ways before crossing the streets. You can customize your room with a frog rug and a crab plushie. You can wear a turtle PJ. 11/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great, chill, pixel art puzzle game, the music is fantastic and very relaxing, great to play in-between more stressful games, or in-between chores or to wind down from homework/work. (10/10 for being able to customize pajamas)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great puzzle game to play while on a break or if you just want to relax. The first world's puzzles may get a bit dull but from the second dream world onwards the puzzles become more fun and challenging. Also the soundtrack and the sound design is really good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wholesome puzzle game, put a smile on my face.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game. Relaxing and challenging at the same time. Game interface is easy and intuitive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a cute game with nice puzzles and unique (yet simple to understand) gameplay. Highly recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the musical menu is just the kind of detail you won't find in AAA games, it's awesome. also the game is good. nice puzzler, some very hard (non obligatory) levels!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adorable from the graphics to the concept to the music to just about everything.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very nice, comfy puzzle game. The first world is pretty simple, but don't let that turn you away. While the first world is just about placing walls to make mazes, each world after that introduces unique mechanics. For example in the second world you are able to place traffic lights hooked up to buttons and wires to make your mazes change as the nightmares travel through them, leading to very open-ended puzzle solving and satisfying solutions that have a lot of parts working in tandem.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredibly adorable and cozy game, with surprisingly challenging puzzles, without being too much of a head-scratcher. I'm only like 5% in, but I'm hooked.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's great :) I like the soundtrack and the nice puzzles. Particular call out for the themes centered around the story, even if the story is not central tot he game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not great at puzzle games but mainly wanted to buy it to support Baumi. Great job man! I think it's very cute and I love the art and characters. Good to use your brain for a bit.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →love the game, comfy puzzle game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice puzzle game. 10/10 would dream again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5. Sweet Dreams Alex This is an amazing puzzle game doesn’t feel like it’s for me. It’s a sandbox puzzle game, and too often when I start a level I get overwhelmed by the possibilities. The game is otherwise very cute and chill and relaxing. I put Alex in a top hat.
unlabelledView post →Really great game which is perfect for a chill casual experience; there's a wide range of mechanics in each world which makes them all feel fresh and exciting. Perfect balance of easy and tricky levels and I love how there's so much flexibility in the solutions. My favourite so far is the playground world as there's something so satisfying about building the climbing structures, and the art style is just fantastic. Can't recommend it enough, one of the best games to play on a cosy evening!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#OtterAwards23 #3: Sweet Dreams Alex This might be the ultimate relaxation game. Lo-fi music, sleepy theme, just you building labyrinths to stop nightmares from getting to a child. It plays like a tower defense game without the towers, which sounds really simplistic but this game is chock-full of

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very sweet game! Starts easy but gets quite tricky after a few levels into the gameplay.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very Fun and relaxing. Great game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got to try the demo a while back and my wife and I played it for the first time and enjoyed how relaxing it was. She really liked being able to change the pajamas. Will update this as we play but ive played a few games made by this person and they have all been enjoyable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel like I've been waiting for this game to come out for half a decade, I think it's a pretty neat little puzzle game. I hope it does better than Chroma.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alex must be protected at all costs, and this game does exactly that Also you can give her ALL the ice cream. 11/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game feels like drinking a warm cup of coffee after waking up on a cold day with someone you love. It feels like home
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With some projects you can feel the love poured into it. This is one of them. Thanks for sharing your love. For a little while everyday the sadness and despair fades away.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're looking for a relaxing, straightforward puzzle game to help calm down and relax at the end of the day, then this is the perfect game. Not a close approximation of what you want, but the perfect game. The sound design in the game is spectacular. I play a couple of levels at the end of the day. It's short and quick, and it helps just release stress at the end of the day. It fills a niche in gaming I didn't know existed, much less that I wanted.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautifully designed puzzles that bring me back to my early days as a gamer with the 8bit looks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super cozy and comfy game. I love playing 1 or 2 levels before bed to unwind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a nice relaxing game. Even with the very strong pixel art I am amazed at the design and how nice it looks. The story is cute and like a small story sprinkled over the levels that are progressively getting harder.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not much time put into the game itself yet, but based on what levels I've completed, I can't really imagine any reason down voting a game like this, it is a very relaxing and casual puzzle game. Easy to spend the extra time in my day playing this, not too complicated on it's rules, so even after a while, it is not hard to jump back in.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's absolutely lovely.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm very worried by the amount of nightmares that Alex would have it wasn't for her dream builder. What caused this poor girl to create so many bad dreams?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the pixel art style that they decided to go with here. It's a super cute game which is much more difficult that it seems. Challenging puzzles with a relaxing atmosphere.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In a wider sense, this is a tower defense game. The tower you are defending is a sleeping child. The enemies are nightmares that you must prevent from reaching Alex before she wakes up in the morning, which is set by a timer for each map. Your job is to create the longest path for the nightmares between spawn points and Alex. This makes the game highly strategic. While the early tasks are easy, it get difficult as you proceed. You are offered more ways to impede the paths of bad dreams,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute game that's easy to pick up and put down! It's nice to relax to, just challenging enough to not be boring.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fantastic puzzler that appears small in scale but is actually quite grandiose at 200+ levels. The puzzles give you room for creativity, and it's really fun to tease out and build your machines. There's 7 different dream worlds with different blocks and rules, so there's plenty of variety to explore and experiment. The vibe is chill and cozy. Negatives? Too much hand-holding, too much repetition, and not enough hard challenges. Though I'm only about 2/3 of the way through, so we'll see…
