Anyway I am playing Supraland and they do this, but then like ten minutes later you find the enemy merchant selling all your stuff at a major markup.

It's a fantastic game based around exploration & puzzle-solving, that always has something extra hidden to reward clever players.

This is absolutely one of the best and most charming puzzle platformers out there. It's not overly challenging, but not boring either, making for a fantastic casual game to relax with. There's plenty of charm and humor to Supraland that I have yet to find a match with in other games. On top of that, the world is delightful to traverse and it's easy to see why at the very least this could be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Supraland genuinely surprised me. I did not expect much from it and ended up liking it far more than I thought I would. Exploration is clearly the main focus here. There is something hidden in almost every nook and cranny. Easter eggs, memes, funny little stories, upgrades and secrets everywhere. Some secrets contain other secrets, which lead to even more secrets. Basically secret-ception. The further you progress, the more tools you unlock and the more paths open up. Every new ability made…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok I’m like two years late to this lol but I’m playing animal well now. Fun game SI far, really enjoying the very unconventional metroidvania upgrades. Reminds me of Supraland in that regard, which is a big compliment
unlabelledView post →I think I got this in a bundle in 2022 or something. Haven't played it til now. Kinda wish I'd stayed away. Exhausting is probably the best way to phrase this. Like most of the other criticisms this game gets, it's slow. tedious, and extremely 'hands-off' with how to progress. Combat is token to the point of uselessness, and I can assure you there's nothing more disappointing than finding a secret and receiving Sword Damage +1 in the PUZZLE GAME. It also has that First Person Platforming thing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game in playstation and I got the platinum trophy It's perfect It took me about 23 hours to complete it 100, and it was one of the best 23 hours of my life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This whole game is a loop of 1. i'm too stupid to do this. 2. go to sleep. 3. it was that simple, how did i not think of it earlier. A bit too much of backtracking to get everything imo but part of is is on me for going back to do the puzzle i knew, and then coming back with another new ability, and then coming back with another ability etc.. instead of waiting to the end to redo them
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The level and puzzle design is infinitely clever in this game. The developer never lets an opportunity for smart design pass by unchecked.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Firstly, this is not a metroidvania. Yes, you unlock new abilities that allow you to progress. No, that does not make it a metroidvania. Portal does the exact same thing, and this is the exact same kind of game as Portal. That's fine though, I don't really think it's a big deal. What is a big deal is the ridiculous difficulty of the puzzles. At about the 25% mark the game stops being any fun and any time you want to progress the tiniest bit you have to solve an insanely difficult and obscure…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. I enjoyed it a lot. It is one of my childhood games that I pirated once and now buy it cuz I got money and a steam account. It puts you in a place where there is so much to explore, and almost always you are rewarded for doing so. The one game that doesnt give you stupid, as in, VERY STUPID missions where you gotta collect, like, a thousand of one thing for a small cosmetic or a stupid thing that never helps you. Puzzles in this game are very good too, they force you to think, which…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I do not see how this got a Overwhelmingly Positive score. It was very bland, 5/10 at best.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a hidden gem this is! Fantastic puzzle platformer with plenty of secrets to uncover. The level design is spot on, and all your abilities feel purposeful throughout the whole game. To top it all off, the game gave me some good chuckles along the way. You can definitely tell that the developers are gamers at heart
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do NOT LET YOUR PREJUDICES FOOL YOU, this is a PHENOMENAL experience and a 11/10 in level design! It just FLOWS and every ability, area, feature and obstacle has a PURPOSE that is just waiting for you to find. Pure video game material right here, do not miss!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Revenge of the Savage Planet is extremely my kind of game. All the best parts of Supraland and Outer Worlds, with some surreal Tim and Eric-type humor for funsies. Awesome.
unlabelledView post →Ok, the name of the game is not its best part, but try to think about a blend of a minimalistic Skyrim + West of Loathing + Supraland. Do you know what is the result? THE RPG store.steampowered.com/app/2429270/... #indiegame #RPG #skyrim #supraland
unlabelledView post →i am playing SUPRALAND on my computer and it is a cool lil metroidvania type FPS game
unlabelledView post →Like so many games, it starts out great but quickly falls face first into the mud. Overall the exploration and puzzles are the shining stars. The problem is, like many adventure games, it shoehorns in a terrible and boring combat system that doesn't provide any use or enjoyment. There are 3 types of enemies that spawn over...and over... and over that drop nothing unless you find a specific upgrade. And by the 20% mark, the game starts throwing huge waves of these same enemies at you that slow…

And above all, one of the games that made me laugh the most 😂 Can't wait to play the full game! #Supraworld #Supraland #PuzzleGame @supragames.bsky.social

unlabelledView post →I backed Supraland on Kickstarter years ago and even backed the second one, no regret at all Really feels like those old games where you see something in the distance and instantly want to go there, but you just can't yet You don't have the power, the strength or whatever you need so you know you'll come back later And the game does that really really well Every new power makes you think about all the places you couldn't reach before and you just want to go back and try again The whole tiny…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sometimes enough is enough. First few hours of the game were fun ngl, the puzzles were neatly done and there was constant progression where you unlocked new abilities that helped you to get to the previously locked locations. Then Supraland became more of a "+1 sword damage" type of game, where every item you find is either upgrade to sword/gun or coins which can be traded to sword/gun upgrades. And the combat system is very primitive so all of the upgrading doesnt really matter because you can…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Poor game feel. Poor atmosphere. Poor narrative. It's very unorganic and has no sense of adventure. It's a sardonic parody without heart that's also incoherent.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good game. I liked the exploration aspect the most, especially how the game world opens up with each upgrade you get. The combat is indeed terrible and I didn't like that sometimes I wasn't sure if I've got everything I need to solve the puzzle. The humor in this game is kinda cringe too. Other than that it's a really cool game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. If you liked PS1 games which had great puzzles and gameplay, this one is for you. And the game just keeps giving.. Great sense of humor from developers too. Strongly recommend!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last Train Outta' Wormtown is always a fun time, lots of food for the worms (me included), then moving on to Supraland was real interesting! Glad I finally got around to playing it, it's a charming game with some fun puzzles.

unlabelledView post →Another wonderfully goofy metroidvania is Supraland. I went in expecting a dumb physics sandbox and found an absolutely brilliant puzzle-heavy Metroid style game. Highly recommend that one.
unlabelledView post →Very fun and open world exploration, runs smoothly and addicting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Supraland Insanely fun but a bit overwhelming. There is a ton to do and find at any given moment and the raw gameplay is snappy and satisfying. Some of the puzzles go a little too hard though thanks to the game's tendency to not introduce concepts well and expecting you to be 110% observant nonstop.
unlabelledView post →good game but man the "he had it coming" achievement is a little bit too much on the nose for a developer intersecting their own political beliefs in a game if you added a joke targeting maybe other politicians sure but man it felt out of place.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Because of Valve's refusal to adjust the review ranking from an absurd binary selection (which favors publishers/developers) to a graded one (which favors consumers), I will always err on the side of caution when I feel a game has a "Mixed" rating and give a Thumbs Down. If it isn't worth recommending to everyone, it's not worth recommending to anyone. Otherwise, I'd be happy to give this a 2.5/5. Supraland is an adventure game that places its focus more on exploration and puzzle solving than…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After the first hour or two I hated the puzzles. The exploration was mostly just going behind random rocks and getting a +2 Max HP. Not sure why this is reviewed so positively.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely brilliant game. The game is described as a "A mix between Portal, Zelda and Metroid", and fulfills that. I would even add 3D Mario to that. The portal aspect is the puzzle design which has some elements such as putting cubes on switches in kind of puzzle box sections, but I think The Talos Principle and Breath of The Wild are also good comparisons because the puzzles take place in open spaces and you're free to solve them in creative ways taking advantage of the physics and other…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are good pay once alternatives to this game if you are interested (PC only): - Tinykin - a lovely indie game where you are small, and everything is big; - Supraland and Supraworld - both games are about exploring miniature worlds.

unlabelledView post →I love Supraland so much, what a great game. So intuitive in its logic, the sort of game where you try to solve a puzzle for an hour, quit the game but can't stop thinking about it, reload then immediately see the solution. Everyone should play it.
unlabelledView post →Just finished the game I'd been playing-- Sheepo-- very fun and breezy, but now I'm ready for more of a challenge. Considering either Rain World or Supraland. Any of y'all have any opinions?
unlabelledView post →Supraland This is a puzzle game combining elements from Zelda, Metroid, and Portal. While I can see the inspiration, most of the areas were so big that it was hard to keep up with random (sometimes important) upgrades or the various puzzle mechanics
unlabelledView post →80/100 Good but flawed puzzle platformer game. I played Supraland: 6 Inches Under (the sequel) first and it was better. This is a good puzzle-platformer with many strong points, but also some significant weaknesses. It starts out really, really strongly, with what feels like a big open world, lots of fun things to do, rapid progress, and many things to switch focus to if you can't solve a particular puzzle. In short, for quite a few hours I thought it was awesome and one of the best games…

unlabelledView post →Supraland has a visual style that initially made me reluctant to pick it up, as the toy theme doesn’t really resonate with me. And I must say, there are other aspects I’m not particularly fond of, like the bare-bones plot, overly sarcastic tone, or somewhat superficial combat. The same goes for 3D platforming, though it’s somewhat alleviated by the third-person perspective. Still, I’m glad I got past my first impression and gave Supraland a chance. Where the game really shines is in its…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have enjoyed my time with the game. I like all the little references and nods to cultural and gaming from years past. The areas are designed very well... if you can see it you can explore it and probably find an upgrade. Gameplay wise it has elements of metroid, portal, and legend of zelda. I did have a little issue with motion sickness which is not usual for me unless playing really old school games like the original doom or that era FPS but i messed with the settings and disabled all the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a fun amazing Metroidvania puzzle game, fell in love with it the first time I played it on PS4 and im back again playing it on pc and completing it for the 7th time. My favorite game of all time, absolute cinema, 10/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hidden gem on Steam. Fun, silly, creative, well-designed, and pretty challenging at times too. Tempted to go back and get all the chests but there are just so many of them and I have too many other games to play in my backlog that I think this may be where the road ends. Finished at 69% of all secrets. Nice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, the puzzles feel intuitive, lots of metroidvania and collectathon aspects without being overwhelming
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very challenging yet fun puzzle game. Might have used a lot of guides and wouldn't have been able to beat the game without them but still found this game very fun. Definetly worth buying if on sale if you are into puzzle games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The store page calls this "A mix between Portal and Zelda" and I did not expect them to pull it off so well! Very fun, creative, silly, and yet it leaves room to feel smart when solving puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game worth the time and effort! I bought this on a sale event and worth every penny. I was first interested in the unique cartoon style game when it made a joke in the size of the map compared to other games. You play as a foam figure in a sandbox, the creepy eyes of the "Sandbox Caretaker" really stand out. I compared this game to many, Mario World, Portal 2, Zelda, and even other puzzle strategy type games. In the beginning, you learn the game, realizing that you hate yhe movement speed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Supraland! Some unique aspects of this game: - First person. - Primarily a puzzle game; closer to Portal in gameplay than most Metroidvanias. - Has a fully seamless 3D world, and you can see some locations in the distance. store.steampowered.com/app/813630/S... (also the combat kinda sucks)
