negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Criminally underrated game with a fantastic setting. This game deserved so much more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Strange Brigade is a third person adventure game that feels like a playable Indiana Jones movie. Set in egypt, you play as a member of the Brigade, sent to stop the witch queen Seteki and her army of mummies to destroy the world. The gameplay is based on a linear level design, fast-paced shooting, the solving of ancient puzzles and the search for hidden treasures. Whether you play solo or in co-op (with a team up to four players), the action and enemies stay pretty balanced. I'm not sure if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ahh! but what’s this? A daring adventurer stumbling upon a forgotten relic in the vast catacombs of gaming history? Whyit can only be...Strange Brigade! A sleeper gem so overlooked one could assume it's been hidden away in Professor Archimedes "Percy" de Quincey's satchel. With its delightfully witty 1930s adventure flair the game has charm from every ancient ruin and trap-riddled tomb. The narration was splendidly packed with humor and delivered with the enthusiasm of a poor chap who’s had…

The same issue effects the game Code Vein and needs fixed by the developers. Please remember to re-enable Hyper-Threading after playing the game, as disabling it can negatively impact performance in other titles!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →HOLY MOLY.... Forsaken City level on EXTREME is something beyond... I don't even know what the heck to say! It's very very hard to beat! That said, what an amazing game! I highly recomend this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm sure glad I only spent $10 to get the deluxe edition, for $10 its fine, but their regular asking price is a joke. I barely inked out 15h of gameplay, before the formula got stale, unfortunately this is the worst part of sniper elite's gameplay. Also the audio just came from the wrong spot??? for both me and the co-op buddy I played through the main campaign with. The non campaign modes also just kinda sucked, the hoard mode we hit round two after like an hour and its suppose to go to round…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Platinum announces a new “Dinosaurs For Hire” that plays like VANQUISH I’ll also accept it as a 3 player co-op shooter made by REBELLION that kinda plays like Zombie Army or Strange Brigade I want dumb AF 90s EXXXTREME nonsense with a modern day budget
unlabelledView post →Uses Denuvo, which hurts performance for everyone that buys the game (like me!) and does nothing to stop piracy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is it repetetive? yes. But as long as you know what you're getting into, it's fun. As someone else said, it is a bit serious sam like, you're blasting your way trough waves of enemies, and doing some light exploration and puzzle solving, and looting, and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Looks good, runs great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ Light story + Performs well in 4K on modern GPUs - Missions 2-12 aren't offering any new game mechanics that wouldn't already be present in the 1st mission - Overpriced if not on sale (80€ for the Deluxe Edition is excessive)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Denuvo. (And simply just bad gameplay).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda Zombie Army reskin, but with mummies instead of nazi zombies. Fun for few evenings and just like Zombie Army games, it's an alright game to get during the sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Welcome, fellow adventurers, to the thrilling world of Strange Brigade! Prepare to embark on a journey filled with mystery, humour, and plenty of undead antics. Set in the 1930s, this game offers a blend of cooperative gameplay, puzzle-solving, and action-packed combat that is bound to keep you on your toes (or perhaps even your knees, if you’re dodging those pesky mummies!). GAMEPLAY MECHANICS In the grand tradition of gallivanting adventurers, Strange Brigade invites you to embark on a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very okay game in every way. DLC makes the base game more fun, it's worth getting the deluxe edition. Regularly on sale for under $10 and sometimes bundled for even less, definitely don't pay more than that. Functional solo, more fun with friends. None of the guns feel very good. They do have unique playstyles and they're not terrible but none are fun. There's an okay variety of enemies requiring a little bit of strategy, but they could be better. The campaign is okay, there's a lot of…

unlabelledView post →underrated game. humour made us giggle quite often and it was an amusement to play this game. nice left 4 dead like gameplay with nice simple puzzles. much fun with friends. beautiful graphics with good performance as well. not sure if it would deserve 50 dollars tho. we got it from a steam sale when the 80 dollar package was about 2.67 dollars. if you come across a sale and have a chance to get it under 10 bucks then i'd say go for it, such a fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just love the atmosphere, which feels like a cross between a monster movie and Indiana Jones. Fun third person shooter with lots of fun upgrades and cool set pieces! Definitely worth it if you get for $20 or under. Really fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →171) Strange Brigade. Pulp-inspired four-player cooperative shooter game; some delightful scenery and designs but very average gameplay.

unlabelledView post →Children of Morta has been a fun roguelike that I played with my best friend, kingdoms is free to play and also a shorter game loop, and I always recommend Strange Brigade as a 3rd person shooter, I like how campy it is!
unlabelledView post →Campy and has a low-budget feel, but honestly that makes it all the more charming! I just wish it was longer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun. Explore ruins, fight the undead and other monsters, use traps to your advantage, solve puzzles, loot everything in sight, and enjoy the campy commentary.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Strange Brigade is kind of like playing Zombie Army with different skins. It's a decent game get it on sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is underrated and a lot of fun. I was playing with a friend of mine and he's got a hysterical personality type and he was trying to use the single shot rifle. I told him to switch to the SMG and he tried shooting enemies from too far away. He then complained about the bullet spread and I had to basically tell him how the SMG works compared to the rifle. After that his ego was ruined and he never played with me again. He blames the game, says the controls are too janky. For some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solo this is a real slog, shooting through dozens and dozens of samey enemies that rush you. Monotony is broken up by some puzzles and a narrator whose style of "humour" wore really thin quickly for me. Overall, a boring game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Underate as F, Its a deliful deal if u get this and all the bundle with 90% sale they drop pretty usual. If u have mates finding treasure solving puzzle, fighting mumy with guns this should hit on yall as well. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At the same time weird and fun co-op adventure Playing Strange Brigade as a co-op shooter with friends is a lot of fun. The game mixes zombie-slaying action with puzzle solving and doesn’t take itself too seriously at all. The humor and lighthearted moments make it really enjoyable. What makes it stand out from other shooters is the mix of exploration and riddles, and the combat feels good — especially when you’re playing with friends. The world looks cool and the graphics are good enough to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got the game basically for free. Paid 2 bucks on it, worth every penny. Definitelly not worth the 50, nevermind the 80 for the deluxe edition. (PS. 2 bucks for the deluxe edition) The pro, its fun, its funny and its very well optimised. The con, its not coop friendly, as it doesnt share loot, its basically everyman for himself. Very expensive for what it offers. It would have been worth it at a 5 to 10 $ price range.

unlabelledView post →This is a nice simple game, however on my experience: xbox controller turn off steam input, health potions are so rare esp for 2 players, i will say there is an upgrade to your weapon if found- i have not got it yet, and it gives you health back for ea kill.... this is really not a full price game, the narration is appreciated but so dramatic and just too much but i get it.. i would have loved that when the game came out. Great to get a friend that likes games but scared to play harder ones..…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice story based, dungeon crawler type game. Shoot up the dead stuff, collect the loot, don't think to hard about it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tried to get into it multiple times, just a quirky game that's not very engaging.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short, entertaining co-op shooter that does not take itself too seriously. It's fun searching the maps for its many secrets while a slightly annoying announcer frames everything in a 40s B-Horror-Movie narration. Mechanically not very complex but ideal for a mindless few hours with friends. The horde mode is also quite entertaining and poses a challenge. Can't do wrong with this one especially since it is regularly on sale for a steep discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is designed as a 4 player Co-op game but I only played Single Player so the cutscenes were silly because they always include 4 characters on the AirShip. When my selected character lands on the ground the other 3 character are nowhere to be seen as if they are busy doing something else. Gameplay mechanics are simple. I've played couple of Sniper Elite games from Rebellion so this feels like the same desert world with non-human enemies. Game runs well on my old GTX 1650, smooth FPS,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unless you don't want your game to be functional and such, stick to the Zombie Army series or the Sniper Elite series instead. Also, has Denuvo Antitamper in it, so it might kill the mood for some people.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a great time, It's very arcade-esk in it's design. If you do not like that creative choice you are likely going to find this boring or repetitive. We personally really enjoyed this energetic engaging escapade of evil.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's the kind of fun, high-octane, pulp adventure game I've been searching for. If you love movies like Indiana Jones, The Mummy, or Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, this is the game for you!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really good game, so fun to play with friends that are a bunch of loot gobblins.. that will burn you and giggle. Wish there will be more maps made 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really fun arcade style to a zombies game. they do a lot differently which makes it feel like a whole game on its own not just another zombie game. the style is awesome. Really funny light awesome game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes if on sale. Less freedom to explore than suggested by trailers, but the shooting gallery is fun. A search for targets under time pressure. I've only tried single player so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a ton of fun! It's gameplay similar to Left for Dead in a setting as pretty as Uncharted. And it's all woven together with sardonic narration taken straight from old school movies. It's a ton of fun to play. I played it for hours on my own. It's super entertaining. But playing it with friends? That's next level fun. Even when you're hopelessly overwhelmed and dying left and right, you can't help but have a good time. The physics are good and the weapon selection is varied enough…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game tries to have some spice with the announcer and puzzle solving gameplay, but when the majority of the game is shooting bullet sponge enemies with mediocre at best gunplay, it's just boring. There's a million other co-op horde shooters worth your time more.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very fun game amazing to play with your friends highly recommend this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Strange Brigade is one of those games that had a genuinely fun concept and a charming 1930s adventure serial aesthetic that Rebellion clearly had a good time building, and then didn't quite do enough with either to justify sustained attention. The co-op hook is the whole pitch and without a consistent group of friends to play with the online population makes that hook hard to actually use. Finding a random match is more archaeological expedition than gaming experience at this point, which for a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finally completed the Strange Brigade campaign + DLC with @monolithx66.bsky.social Superb game in co-op I thought. By the end, our solutions to even the most dangerous situations were very much in unspoken sync, as you can see here.. “KABOOOM!”
unlabelledView post →𓂀 Of all the monsters, a MUMMY game? WELL, YEAH, and it's awesome! Excellent choice. Honestly, another L4D clone was expected, but this one turned out to be different, and that's a good thing. It's definitely more interesting than «Zombie Army», as it has more individuality, both conceptually and gameplay-wise. It recreates the spirit of old adventure films with monsters. You can play solo, as the game has a full story campaign. The levels feature simple but interesting puzzles, full of…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm going to say no for a few minor reasons and one majour reason. The first and most egregious and absolute main reason I don't recommend this game is the voices/voice acting. My god, if you don't have tinnitus from smoking, construction, or shooting guns already, the dialogue and its incessant commentary will give you it and that's a promise. I had to turn off dialogue entirely after about 2 levels in as the Milennial writing/voice acting made me want to take my 9mm Girsan and paint the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Criminally underrated game. Got this for $1 in a bundle and really enjoyed my time with it. The game truly shines when you play with others. Beautiful graphics, fun gameplay and decent puzzles. The game basically rewards you for exploring as well. The only con is that there aren't many players online. But once you do form a group, it's a great time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Strange Brigade is quite an interesting game, but the funny thing is that the minotaurs are tougher than the final boss.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don’t remember that scene, but I do recall trying to do either a Strange Brigade or Zombie Army game in co-op and failing at what may have been the too difficult final hurdle. 🤔 I’ll need to consult ye olde Achievements on Xbox to see if I can work out what game I’m thinking of.
