60 of 80 · most liked firstI still think about the game STORIES UNTOLD a lot. It's like a great short horror story collection, told purely through in-game interaction with computers / consoles / monitors. Very strange but really effective!

unlabelledView post →Currently playing Stories Untold (Steam). Been in the backlog a while. Interesting little 4 story anthology using a text parser at the root. Parser is a little clunky but the game has great mood and vibe and can't beat the price. It's .99 right now! #SteamSale #Steam
unlabelledView post →Ah! New Silent Hill Transmission tomorrow. We'll get more information on Townfall, the game currently under development by No Code Studios, creators of the excellent minimalist indie horror, Stories Untold.
unlabelledView post →Games where you're primarily using another device within that game -- especially if it's a full-on computer / CRT style ala Stories Untold, but also mobile phones like Another Lost Phone. Any recommendations?
unlabelledView post →I Just finished playing through Stories Untold and the depth, layers, and detail to this story is amazing! And after playing the amount realizations I had from the games surprise was incredible! Highly recommend and as psychological horror game
unlabelledView post →Here's a free one. Someone, maybe not Mark who knows, couldn't be bothered to source the game Stories Untold for a thumbnail. So they found a thing that I found on deviantart just now, cranked the levels and whammo, millions of views. Absolutely no clue if the artist was compensated.
unlabelledView post →Stories Untold is a lot of fun if you don't mind a very Indie game.
unlabelledView post →I love the idea of the CRTV in Silent Hill Townfall, almost looks like playing one survival horror while armed with a new Stories Untold game.
unlabelledView post →Just in time for Halloween, I have a new article out on "embedded soundscapes" in games, using the horror game Stories Untold as a case study. Thanks to @kategalloway.bsky.social for putting this issue together! Check out her work and @cooksterkc.bsky.social's too! williamohara.net/blog/2023/10...
unlabelledView post →in retrospect i'm glad i did a runthrough of Stories Untold between townfall streams because that last big puzzle before the end was the most Stories Untold-ass puzzle in the game so i was in the perfect headspace for that
unlabelledView post →Screen Burn's #SilentHill #Townfall releases in less than 3 weeks! Now, if "Screen Burn" doesn't ring a bell for you, maybe "No Code" does, their former name, under which they released, among others, #StoriesUntold. And guess what we're playing, now, over at www.twitch.tv/melancholygeek
unlabelledView post →bought a random horror game with big Stories Untold vibes, less than 20 reviews on steam, goin in blind
unlabelledView post →So we're playing a horror game today Stories Untold... help twitch.tv/abolishregret
unlabelledView post →Stories Untold! IT'S ONLY A BUCK!! This game is REALLY fun, especially the first section when you're playing a scary text game on an old computer. I also enjoyed the level with the numbers station store.steampowered.com/app/558420/S...
unlabelledView post →yes Annapurna sucks for billionaire / broader game industry reasons, but they've still published some of my favorites. I really liked Stories Untold from Screen Burn (No Code), will have to give Observation a spin. lots of "saying the right things" on the production side in the transmission video
unlabelledView post →I really liked their game Stories Untold, so I'm kinda hopeful lol
unlabelledView post →+1 for Stories Untold, thats such a cool and unique game. Really looking forward to the new Silent Hill game the devs are making
unlabelledView post →Hey everyone! We are starting a little early today and doing some spookies on a Thursday! I'm joined by the lovely red panda gf @roseredpandaa.bsky.social playing a horror game that I love, Stories Untold! live below! #goinglive #furrylive www.twitch.tv/ghostiegoobat
unlabelledView post →Finished Stories Untold yesterday, and I enjoyed this short but sweet horror game :D This was what I used morse code and the phonetic alphabet for (during the radio operator chapter), but the reveals in the last chapter get grim 😨 - it wasn't a type of game I usually play, but it was good :D
unlabelledView post →Verdict on SH: Townfall If you've seen "Chernobyl" & loved how it was filmed & written, you may enjoy SH: Townfall. I put it up there as one of the heaviest in the franchise. Themes are also VERY timely. I loved the game "Stories Untold" years ago. Incredibly well done for a team of less than 50!!
unlabelledView post →I can't believe we're lucky enough to get ANOTHER Silent Hill game next week, and from the devs behind Stories Untold and Observation no less. We're gonna be eating good for psychological horror! store.steampowered.com/app/1636440/...
unlabelledView post →Stories Untold - Well that won't do, let's get sleuthing gang! twitch.tv/dajicat 🐾🔍🤔 As the game description says it is 4 minigames with 1 story. Can we get all 4 tonight and find out what this untold story actually is?! #horrorgame #vtuber #goinglive
unlabelledView post →Holy shit! Silent Hill: Townfall looks incredible! I’ve been waiting for its trailer since Konami announced that No Code will be doing SH game, their Stories Untold and Observation are awesome story-driven games. But Townfall looks like a true new Silent Hill, wow, exceeded all the expectations!
unlabelledView post →Been waiting for news of Silent Hill: Townfall, and so far it's surpassing my expectations. First Black protagonist, set in 90s Scotland, first person game-play, stealth focused mechanics. Made by Glasgow based Screen Burn, formally NoCode who made the decent Stories Untold and Observation games.
unlabelledView post →The tweet in question, as well as the email we wrote to them. Never called their game, “The Observer.” It was a mix-up on the spelling of “Stories Untold,” super minor issue. Total accident. Really sucks to reach out because you love a studio’s games, only to get treated that way. Just a bummer.
unlabelledView post →For anyone interested and may have missed the streams, I've got all 4 chapters of Stories Untold uploaded to my VOD channel :^) BIG Warning though, this game contains a lot of flashing lights. youtube.com/playlist?lis...
unlabelledView post →12. Stories Untold This was a nice, snack-sized palette cleanser. It's an episodic horror game that tells an interesting, if brief story through a series of well crafted puzzles.
unlabelledView post →So I'm not a big horror game fan but as it is #Halloween I'm pulling out my go to recommendation for a creepy lil indie that is perfect for non-horror fans. If you're looking for something a little bit spooky join us as I play Stories Untold this afternoon on www.twitch.tv/thekillerbits at 1pm GMT
unlabelledView post →Stream over. While not the first time I played Stories Untold, it was some years ago and I had completely forgotten what the game was about and what the story was... that warranted a re-visit. The first chapter was the most scary one, that's for sure. Thank you to everyone that showed up.
unlabelledView post →8. Stories Untold Halloween is soon and do yourself a favor and play through this. This is one of my favorite games. The way this text adventure style game asks you to interface with it is absolutely phenomenal and is a thing only video games can do.
unlabelledView post →Stories Untold is a great short scary game, a handful of stories told through different technologies/puzzles, finished it in a day and I still love it
unlabelledView post →I had actually forgotten about that one, it might also be interesting. But no, Stories Untold was an indie game from No Code. I played it a while back and it was one of the most nerve wracking experiences I've had with a game in years
unlabelledView post →The thing is this is the dev’s bread and butter if you’ve played Stories Untold or Observation, and I was excited to experience another horror game through just these elements. I think it was a bit of a misstep to shoehorn other gameplay elements into it ngl.
unlabelledView post →Replaying Stories Untold and looking for all the little bits of foreshadowing that I might've missed. There's some in every chapter. For all its supernatural and sci-fi horror trappings, the most horrifying thing in this game is when it makes you PLAY THROUGH the reveal.
unlabelledView post →I'm really excited for it as well because it's made by formerly-known-as No Code who were behind Stories Untold, which was a fantastic game (although I wasn't a big fan of the ending)
unlabelledView post →Not watching the stream going on but I did check out that new Silent Hill Townfall trailer and it looks extremely neat, I believe Screen Burn can make it pretty good. I did not expect the game to be an actual action/adventure game, the first trailer made it seem it would be kinda like Stories Untold
unlabelledView post →I mean they have done similar concepts like this before with Stories Untold. And in the trailer we see what looks like gameplay in the TV screen of the portable TV. Could we be playing the entire game in the TV screen? (2/2)
unlabelledView post →Just played Stories Untold for the first time in a long time, it still hits as hard as ever. If anyone is interested in a short psychological horror game with unique gameplay, I'd recommend it strongly.
unlabelledView post →Stories Untold - I really liked this one! It's a shorter horror game, maybe like threeish hours? But it's basically got multiple little experiences packed into it, all with a running theme of being in front of a computer console. And it's only $0.99 on GOG and Steam, that's totally worth it to me.
unlabelledView post →BTW, SPEAKING OF STORIES UNTOLD!!! (The game we're gonna play tonight heheheh) If you're looking for a unique horror game to play this spooky season, I STRONGLY recommend it >u<
unlabelledView post →My favorites psychological horror is an 80s vibe game called Stories Untold. You can finish the game in about a stream or two. Four really neat episodes that'll. Leave you feeling "Woah". Once again, no jump scares, no gore, but the story it gets across to you will meds with you.

unlabelledView post →We finished Stories Untold yesterday. It was a really fun and interesting horror puzzle game with some retro text based adventure at parts. Since we finished faster than I anticipated we're calling a mulligan for tomorrow and instead we'll be playing In Sound Mind to keep with the spooky season!
unlabelledView post →(another NoCode game, STORIES UNTOLD, is only $1.50, 85% off) (good game!)
unlabelledView post →Wanna try a cool narrative game for the season? Stories Untold weaves its tales together into a haunting experience store.steampowered.com/app/558420/S...
unlabelledView post →Tonight I'll be streaming a horror game called Stories Untold. One of my all time favorite indie games! m.twitch.tv/suddenlyfost...
unlabelledView post →Another really good meta horror game is Stories Untold, I think you'll really like it if you liked Inscryption
unlabelledView post →Streaming Schedule for the week!! Little Kitty, Big City!: Tuesday 4:30 PM EST Phasmo Craziness: Wednesday 6:00 PM EST Spooky game time with Stories Untold: Thursday 4:30 PM EST Hope to see all you lovely beans there!!
unlabelledView post →my number-one criticism of Stories Untold is that, from this to Dear Esther to The Sexy Brutale, indie game developers desperately need to stop making Memento
unlabelledView post →Glad to see more people check out Observation! Really enjoyed my time with it, and it makes me excited for the upcoming Silent Hill: Townfall by the same team. If you want something with even more of a horror slant, check out their other game "Stories Untold" if you haven't already.
unlabelledView post →I've just started this and loving it. Immensely excited for a game that includes DNA from Alien Isolation, Stories Untold, Observation and Silent Hill. What a miracle mix!
unlabelledView post →The same studio did Observation and Stories Untold. I can see the DNA of the previous games in there but not their creative spark and boldness. Game looks mint though.
unlabelledView post →Gotta say tho won’t be surprised if this game bangs since I absolutely loved Observation and Stories Untold
unlabelledView post →You should give the game Mole a look. Just beat it today and it's great. Like a mix of Iron Lung, Mouthwashing, and Stories Untold.
unlabelledView post →I like Stories Untold, so I hope Townfall will be an exciting game for me too!💓
unlabelledView post →One things I like about doing a weekly stream is just as I've gotten to know some of the viewers, they've know me, and they make great video game recommendations. THE MESSAGE FROM DEEP SPACE's low-fi math-y puzzle game reminds me a bit of the terminal-facing horrors of Stories Untold; I'm into it!
unlabelledView post →I took a vacation and now have some ideas for both a potential SP and MP approach to an updated TradeWars 2002-like game. I kinda like my SP version better. It would try to capture the BBS magic in a Stories Untold sort of way. 🤔
unlabelledView post →I just finished ”Stories Untold”, a free Stalker 2 DLC that adds a new quest line with a couple of hours gameplay to the game. I especially enjoyed to witness the establishing of a small, new base, and to help out the involved characters. #Stalker2 #StoriesUntold #DLC #Zone #GSC #gaming
