RIP to the creator of the game and founder of XGen Studios, Skye Boyes and condolences to his wife and current CEO of XGen Studios, Kaelyn. Skye passed away on October 12, 2015 from cardiac arrest in Vancouver. His game is something that MILLIONS of people from my generation will remember fondly, and I hope that his wife has found some sort of comfort in knowing the impact that he has had. If you ever release a 3rd game,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is not worth it's 20$ price tag.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →God, I played this game all the time when I was a kid, So sad to hear that the developer died. RIP. Still a great game after all this time and still as addictive and humorous as when I first played it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lower the price jesus. 20+ year old flash game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let's be honest here. If you didn't immediately click off after seeing the screenshots and the price, you probably have a history with this game and thus don't need someone to tell you why it's enjoyable. Instead, I'll say that this steam release indeed contains all the game's content, runs well, and did not give me any issues. Enjoy your nostalgia. If you are an exception and just think this game looks cozy, you'd be right. Stick RPG 2 is a light life-sim experience in which you can work,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Happy birthday Stick RPG 2, it was fun to have played you for so many years, LOVE YOU DEAR GAME OF MY CHILDHOOD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is definitely not worth the 20 dollars, but as a kid, I always dreamed of playing the director's cut content. it felt great reliving my childhood and fulfilling something I always wanted to do.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buy this game on sale ONLY. It is a flash game, and it is one of the cornerstones of my childhood and I still find it fun as a time-waster to this very day. This game has so much personality and the nostalgia of playing on my school computers before they started blocking all the websites makes this one of my favorite games that's on Steam. If you were born after the StickPage era, I don't recommend it, however for those who remember StickPage you absolutely need to get this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best flash game ever. rest in peace skye boyes, thanks for creating such an enormous part of my childhood
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back in (what was it?) - around 2008? This was THEE Flash game to play. Anyone who grew up playing Stick RPG: The Complete Edition treasured this icon. But sadly, the devs expect $20 a copy in 2024, nearly twenty years after it, a free Flash game (minus the additional island) released. Not much has changed, and the devs went inactive years and years ago. Not worth the $20, unless you want to reference the game for R&D like I did - for my own game heavily inspired by the series. It was a hit…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyed this game years back. Re-Bought it and played it only to realize the game is permanently in a lower resolution, surely if the devs are putting the game on sale, they are reading the reviews right? Please, fix this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overpriced, but is a solid nostalgia hit for those who played/watched others play it back in the day
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Genuine masterpiece.. Very fun and addicting. Also you cannot find any writing with this sort of charm anymore these days, ITS EXTINCT. I enjoy the combat as well even though its quite simple. Its one of the best flash games ever made imo.. a piece of history. Buy when its on sale tho
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best flash games ever made. Would personally recommend it once it goes on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All time classic and nostalgic favorite of mine. 100% recommended. Stick RPG 2 is beautiful and unique, filled with witty humor and other silly nsfw/violent concepts. RIP XGen Studios Creator Skye Boyes - We'll never see Motherload 3 / Stick RPG 3 :'(
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Life Sim games peaked at Stick RPG series, but honestly don't expect too much from this game - im just a crazy old person rambling about muh late 2000s flash games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A classic Flash game preserved on Steam in full. Movement? Slow. Menus? Clunky and inefficient. Combat? Simple, unengaging, and honestly trying to hit anything with your fists is infuriating. By no means does this hold up in the modern day. But also, by no means should you expect it to; it's a Flash game, what do you want? It's good old fashioned browser game fun, a great way to kill a little time and relive the glory days, if you were there for them. I recommend this to anyone who remembers…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute Cinema. This and Stick RPG 1 were the best flash games ever. Hope they make a third one day.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Charging $25 CAD for a 14-year-old game is criminal. That said, it went on sale for around $8 CAD, and I figured that was low enough to justify the purchase. Sadly, I am very torn on this review, as I did have a lot of fun, but there's little to no replayability here, plus I do believe even $8 CAD is too high, especially when you can play the flash build for free. This build (Directors Cut) includes some extra content which involves new jobs, new weapons, and a couple random side quests…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All-time classic. Humor's still witty, recommended if it goes on sale R.I.P Skye Boyes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RIP to the founder of XGen Studios, Skye Boyes. XGen games were the most memorable and interesting when i was young, and they still give me that feeling of awe playing it now. If you're wondering why the game is still so expensive, it's because there's probably no one left with access to the account that can change it... no one really knows.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I mean it's not awful, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have nostalgia for it, from playing the old free flash version as a kid, as I did, there's a fair few unresolved bugs (the settings never remember what they were set to, which doesn't help when the music is blasting out your ears and has no volume slider, just an on or off), and obtuse metagame elements which aren't made clear (like I didn't wanna marry the shallow girl who loves strong guys, I wanted to do all the quests, but got…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is this worth 20 dollars? No. Is this worth less than 10 dollars? Yes. Literally my childhood in a game. The only thing I wish they added was steam achievements. Fantastic game nonetheless.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full screen is ass, resolution scaling is ass, video settings are ass, price tag is ass. Looking for a nostalgic experience, instead got ass
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just as good as I remember it but wait for a sale. Trust me this game ain't worth $20.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth it, there's bugs that SHOULD NOT exist for a game that is $20. Even at $6, I would say it's a bit steep
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hello friends, Today I wish to review the game Stick RPG 2: Director's Cut. This game started out as a flash game, but eventually came to steam after some time. This version is a upgraded version, or a GOTY edition compared to the original version found on a flash game site, like newgrounds or others on the internet. This is in fact a rpg with a character that is a stick figure. If you ever played a game with stick figures, like the henry stickman collection, it is similiar in graphical…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An amazing game, happy to finally be able to play through entirety of the game I once only could play bits of in the browers with my brother. One issue I will honestly say is the price, I did catch it on very very heavy 90% discount, a flash game that is two decades old should not keep a 20 $ pricetag.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this to deliver a PSA: if you download flashpoint, you can play this game for free. Not the director's cut, but it's basically the same :shaka:
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →get it on sale, only like 5 hours worth of content realistically but nostalgia makes me love this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I REALLY like this game. It's one of the best flash games ever made. But I can't realistically justify buying it unless it's on sale, as you can literally buy The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion with all the DLC and other games like that for the same price as this game. With that being said... This is one of the OG dopamine-like-crack-for-your-brain type of games. This is largely driven by an unavoidable sense of progression throughout every aspect in the game. You do a thing, you are rewarded more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really a classic nostalgic title, yet not worth full price in BRL. ps. would be cool if they added steam achievements at the very least...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun little game enjoy playing a bit here and there, would be nice to get the achievements on steam though

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →XGen Studios has been responsible for every good .swf you know. Highly Recommended 10/10 http://www.xgenstudios.com/games/ Go have a look at all the flash games they made that you had no idea they made and go get stunned My jaw was on the floor Dino Run, Raze, Pillage the Village, Castle Wars, Interactive Buddy, Motherlode, Warlords: Call to Arms, Age of War, Stick Arena, Murloc RPG, Epic War, Strike Force Heroes, tons of Madness Combat games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →brings back memories, not the $20 part tho. Its a fun game, but sadly you cant save
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is great watched matt shea play it and it was 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stick RPG 3 when?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*Going to leave a real review instead of a meme.* Strick RPG 2 is a game that doesnt try to be anything but what it truly is, a well made flash game. After "beating" the game, heres my review. Pros: Graphics are top tier for what it is. Animations are very clean for what it is. Art/style is just fantastic for what it is. Amount of options are deep for what it is. Humor is very well done and timeless. Economy is deep for what it is. Game length/content is pretty fair for what it is. Neutral:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wish it was fullscreen, but it is a fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes, but if the game is really worth 20 dollars - then the price for a bowl of cereal is 20 dollars as well. Now I'm not from parma, but ain't no way in heck that any cereal bowl is worth 20 dollars. 3 out of 5 stars. Should have had more content for the price. I would recommend this game if it was on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A GREAT FOLLOW UP TO THE ORIGINAL. USED TO PLAY THE FIRST GAME ALL THE TIME AS A KID, NOW WE JUST NEED A THIRD ONE!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such an awesome RPG. One of the best Flash games of all time!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stick RPG 2 is the greatest creation to behold, God himself could not begin to understand the pure depth and complexity this work of genius shrouds itself in. 10/10 would definitely recommend to my Bosnian chihuahua.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Iconic and revolutionary for the time it initially came out. Now, it's kind of trash. No resolution options without external modding, and the game is not ported out of flash so attempting a higher resolution results in immense lag. A general lack of thought and care when it comes to map design. Wide-as-a-river and Deep-as-a-puddle systems. Plenty of outdated jokes and incel-gamer vibes from some of the dialogue and prompts. If I was 8 years old again, I'd eat this ♥♥♥♥ up. Unfortunately,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a fun time killer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game held a lot of nostalgia for me the second I played it. I remembered loving it as a young teen and so I picked it up to play the version I couldn't at 14. Instantly, I was reminded of why I loved it. The dialogue is witty but not overbearing, the grind is rewarding, and the light tone over a deceptively deep stickman style culminates into this masterpiece of a game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →flash classic, i played this so much when i was little
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game gets a little glitchy in fullscreen sometimes, so be sure to save often but it is so cool to be able to play the full game as an adult. Stick RPG 3 would feed families, we need the trilogy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This and their other game Stick RPG 2 I used to fuck with heavy
unlabelledView post →Don’t fall for nostalgia. Save yourself the regret—don’t waste your money. Awful game. Even a browser-based Stick RPG from 2008–2010 was leagues better. Feels like a totally different team made this. Money down the drain.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't get me wrong. This is an AMAZING game. Its definitely worth the time to play. However, 20 dollars for a game with less than 5 hours of content is upsetting. The game is genuinely fun, even though you cant play Stick RPG 1 anymore, now that Flash is gone. Good game, yes. $20? Not worth it, sorry. (Remaster 1 for HD, PLEASE.)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →amzing game bet on unicornileus
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice burst of nostalgia with more features than the old flash game, but it just doesn't warrant the price tag. I love XGen but can't recommend this at $20.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been playing this game off and on since I was probably 13. Incredible game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →childhood memories just more because i didn't have the directors cut growing up
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →do not choose the left portal
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →always was a fan of the games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved this game when I was a kid and I still love it now.
