47 of 47 · most liked first[UPDATE: This game is still criminally underrated and I wish more people were aware of it, as its such a great experience in VR, for the current sale price, its an absolute no brainer and deserves so much more love]. Awesome work everyone that was involved!!! Only just got the game, but wow I'm more than impressed with the depth of it. Lots of items to unlock, lots of machines to use, lots of drinks to make! The game has a great artstyle with a fun host of characters. The robot is very cute…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What are we supposed to do, pass the headset back and forth? We can't play multiplayer with two headsets? Multiplayer on this game is fake.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just wanted to make a quick comment that this game does STILL work. I just tested it out on the Meta Quest 3 using Virtual Desktop and it played perfectly fine. I didn't get a black screen as reported by others. Also, I did the tutorial and it seems that there is more depth to this game than other games of this type. You're actually upgrading your station and physically putting it together. You don't just mix drinks, you get the ingredients ready via several means (example: you'll put the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the Tutorial as far as I could, and it was genuinely fun. A bit confusing at the start, but once you get the hang of it, it will be more fun to play. I am on the Meta Quest 3 and I generally prefer buying my VR games on Steam for the achievements. However, it does seem that you are unable to teleport with the Meta Quest 3 controllers, so I would recommend to wait a bit until this either is fixed or to buy it in the Meta Store to be sure that the game works! Currently waiting on the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought on Quest because it wasn't on PC before. Now that's it's on PC, bought it again. I just really love the game loop. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game might be great, but the first impressions are terrible. No music, no dialogue audio, barely any sound effects and no menus while you're waiting for agonizingly slow unskippable texts with nothing to interact with in the meanwhile. It's really sad but I have to give this review because I didn't see any indication of these aggressively terrible first impressions you get just on the way to the game's main menu. Please be aware of this if you think you can open this game while bored and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is quite fun, but a tad annoying to play if you ask me. First off, the idea is fantastic and quite well-implemented. There's lots of ingredients that can go into making a single drink and lots of the ingredients have interesting mechanics or visuals, like the rocket drink flying away once it's empty, or the little bug thing requiring to be fed before allowing the juice to be gathered (I don't know how else to put this). However, there's also some just straight up annoying ones…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun experience somewhat reminiscent to job simulator. Starts off slow for you to grasp the concept and basic mechanics and quickly ramps up to intense levels. The upgrade system is interesting and each upgrade is impactful to increasing your speed and efficiency of making fabulous drinks (seriously, I really want to try some of these drinks!). No major issues on my Oculus Rift CV1.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a reluctant Thumbs Down. I think the game idea, and the interaction is great, but there are a few technical issues that stop the game from being playable. I have a Valve Index, and it seems to be made for this, but ... not. There is a display for how to control things, and there is a 'teleport' option for moving, but there is no teleport in the game. At least, there is no known way to get the buttons to work. This causes another issue, in that the location appears in the same spot (in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately I can't say I recommend this game. The developers have made some pretty egregious design oversights which make the game an unenjoyable experience. 1. The fixed update rate for objects is significantly lower than HMD refresh rates. Your hands and objects in the world only update at 60hz, while your head movement and actual game framerate is 120hz (valve index). This results in your hands and everything you interact with feeling like a jittery, laggy mess. This is frankly an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is so much fun mixing all the different combinations available, even saving drink recipes that outrageously disgusting just because I wanted to be a jerk to the impatient customer! It starts off rather easy but as you progress it gets harder and harder but luckily you can upgrade your tools to speed up your drink mixing. This game offers a lot and not just the mixing but unlocking cosmetics, upgrading your tools through manually crafting, and some areas to explore and goof around in. All…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending, developed by Foggy Box Games and published by Yogscast Games, is a vibrant VR simulation that transforms bartending into a fast-paced, interstellar performance. Rather than striving for realism, the game embraces absurdity and charm, placing players in the role of an unwilling recruit at the Startenders Academy, where crafting alien beverages becomes both your training regimen and your path to freedom. The result is a dynamic blend of time management,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A truly fun game. The progression and ramping difficulty makes the game continually fresh and playable. It is also nice that they added some mini games to it and that it encourages you to play around and have fun with it. It also gives a great immersion. I didn't even notice by the end of my play session that my boundary was bugged and I was very close to slapping my table with my knuckles. The only gripe I have with this game is that when teleporting to a different section it does not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trying to be more than it should and being lesser for it I picked this up for 1,90€ and thought I'd get an arcade bartending game. Instead I apparently get a game where you sometimes bartend. 1/4 of my current playtime was spent bartending. The other time was spent welding together machines with basically point and click gameplay and listening to a character talk about a story I couldn't care less about while being locked out of doing anything else but listen. We all know how great of an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely brilliant, it's fun and with high polish. Plus, the voiceover is by Riley Murdock from Linus Tech Tips /Tech Linked.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game. The only thing that need to be fixed is the audio that glitch a little sometimes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cheap, cute, fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A wonderfully inventive and unique VR game! Incredibly tactile and satisfying gameplay loop of creating increasingly complex orders with greater time crunch all while bartending with as much showmanship as possible. This is what VR games should be, experiences you can't get anywhere else! The game also has a very nice visual style with a great soundtrack and fun cameo voice acting. Love everything about this. My only wish would be even more progression with a longer campaign but I'm not even…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game, Haven't encountered any bugs so far. Game is pretty simple at start but gets pretty challenging and slightly overwhelming in the higher levels. Enjoying it quite a bit. (Playing on Oculus Rift-S)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite the extremely long wait from quest exclusivity the game is here and quite fun on the index. had no issues and it seems like there's enough equipment upgrades and new ingredients to keep the loop from getting to tedious or boring.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Add steaming support, default Desktop fov is crazy low but yeah fun game! :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game got me out of refund hell which was an endless cycle of buying and refunding games that i thought would be fun. i spent hours looking for a good game and most of the options were either A:To Expensive or B:Horny Games in conclusion gud gaym

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoyed this game, with the short amount of time I played it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Startenders: Intergalactic Bartender is the VR game I started that will be the first accessibility overview and not for the year, and it is both stressful because timer, but also really fun! definitely playing a lot more of it even after the overview video and notes are done and up🤗 #vr #gaming

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →im sorry i pirated your game on quest
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has some really neat mechanics and is really fun. Im constantly impressed by the things in vr that are fun that wouldnt seem like it, this is one. Can usually find on a sale and I say try it if you dig vr its actually good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is quite unfortunate that the studio had to shut down due to neither Startenders nor Brunch Club not bringing in enough funding to keep them afloat. I like this game a lot and would've hoped for the devs to fix some issues with inputs and the audio problems as well mentioned in the steam discussions, but as I said above, that won't be happening. Give the game a shot, maybe buy it on sale perhaps, if you're too wary of not enjoying this or if the bugs are too much. The only problems I have,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game. Perfect for VR
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really fun VR game with mechanics that just make sense!! it feels good to interact with everything and the added easy reach in the accessibility options is a lifesaver as i don't have much space to play VR in. got this on sale, definitely worth it if you pick it up for that - you can pretty much play this game endlessly with all the randomised drink recipes and ingredients. ^[:)]
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cozy hub area that actually makes it feel like your character lives there. Gameplay is pretty fun, but I just love all the little details in the living quarters :]
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played for .8 hours. Thats all I could play for. A terrible experience, I was fighting with the controls all the time, the teleport was super annoying to utilize, characters would get cut off two or so seconds before their voicelines finish, going straight to the next part, so i missed some semi big parts during the tutorial and had to figure it out myself. This is, sadly, not a fun game to play. The snap turn, unlike other games, actually caused me to throw my glasses every now and again.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice casual game but my issue is that I can't move the play space horizontally so if the play space is not perfectly set before launching the game you may end up smacking things around near your play space. I can play just about all VR games within a 3 ft x 5 ft space but this one forces me to get creative. The in game easy reach feature doesn't help me much. Another issue is that I can't center the game via the STEAM overlay once the game is launched. Just about all my VR games allow me to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game through on another headset and liked it so much i bought it twice. It's very fun and easy to get lost in if you like tycoon games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Didn't even know Riley from LTT voices the robot 10/10 game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend the game! Though, i prefer my own music, so i love to play the entire VA-11 Playlist while playing this game, it's perfect!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Marvelous experience, can be chill or challenging depending of your mood. Who knew bartending would be so fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to really enjoy this game, but could barely play because I didn't have the space for VR. Fast forward to today, finally have the room to play, only to discover the game launches to a black screen no matter what I tweak and the studio shut down a while ago and scattered to the winds. Sadly unplayable even after following other people's advice to try and fix it :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Anyone played #Startenders on your VR headset? I’d love your thoughts. I enjoyed the trial but it was a little short, so I’d love to know the depth of the game.
