Species
In 1993, the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence Project receives a transmission detailing an alien DNA structure, along with instructions on how to splice it with human DNA. The result is Sil, a sensual but deadly creature who can change from a beautiful woman to an armour-plated killing machine in the blink of an eye. From TMDB

It turns out the chupacabra was first "spotted" in 1995 by a woman who believed that the events of the movie Species were real and based its description on the alien from it

Being 13 year old boys, we rented the movie SPECIES, ostensibly a horror movie, but with more nudity than any of us had ever yet experienced.

unlabelledView post →There was a movie whose cover and title I saw at a young age - SPECIES, which had the image of a ludicrously hot supermodel midway through transforming into a sexy alien lady, and at 14, I was like, "This movie has to be the sexiest movie ever" and then I spent 21 years not watching it.

unlabelledView post →#Species III: direct to video, flatly filmed, with several absurd scenes (such as the weird classified on the Internet). Nevertheless, clearly a step up from the disastrously unambitious second film. Thematically, this one has something to say again. The tragedy of the "half-breeds" and their unstable short life. Execution, well, not great. Too long stretches of nothing happening, an awful lead. Still, positive surprise. https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/9711-species-iii
