Shadow Generations is a 2024 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. It is the second Sonic the Hedgehog game to feature Shadow as the protagonist, following Shadow the Hedgehog (2005). Its story runs parallel to Sonic Generations (2011), and sees Shadow travel through time as he faces his arch-nemesis Black Doom. unlabelledView post →Finished Sonic X Shadow Generations tonight! Collectively, it’s probably the best Sonic game ever made. I can’t tell you how much my kid self wanted a follow up to Sonic Adventure 2’s story that was actually good. Also I thought I was the only person who always liked Rail Canyon.
unlabelledView post →Sonic Team said they wanted Sonic X Shadow Generations to be the entry point game of the series so I’m kinda hoping that means they’re gonna pull a Xenoverse 2 and add a bunch of, if not most, past Sonic/Shadow level from past games through DLC packs Do the movie level pack for past games

We actors don't normally get free copies of the games we're in, so this was super special. This is also the very first Sonic game I've ever owned! (And in case you're curious, yes, I'm trash at it 😂)

unlabelledView post →Ngl the more I talk with people or think about the Sonic half of Sonic X Shadow Generations, the more frustrated I get by the clear lack of effort They made an incredible game with Shadow, but they did literally nothing to improve base Gens (a DEEPLY flawed game) and arguably made aspects worse
unlabelledView post →Banger OST time! This track plays during Act 1 of Space Colony Ark in Sonic X Shadow Generations! This track is tough 😤 the guitars absolutely tear it up, and the drums go crazy! The synths in the background add a nice, lowkey sound to the track as well, it's a bumping track for an awesome game!

I’m more of a 2D Sonic fan, but I loved Sonic Heroes back in the day and I enjoyed parts of Sonic Unleashed & original Generations. Shadow Generations was excellent!
