Sonic the Hedgehog 2
After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands. From TMDB

The stuff about the creation of the nuclear bomb was fascinating, but why not follow up the Tails tease from the first film

unlabelledView post →Sonic The Hedgehog: surprisingly decent kids movie. Sonic The Hedgehog 2: more of a movie for fans, weaker pacing and too much focus on side characters that add nothing to the overall plot. Sonic The Hedgehog 3: just a legit great movie. No “it’s for kids/gamers” qualifiers. Amazing.

unlabelledView post →SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 (2022) - like the first one this feels written like a movie from the 1990s, which is perfectly suited for Sonic as a character. I thought it was bright and fun, though it sags in places (the wedding stuff could be hugely cut). Jim Carrey is again a highlight #ThomFilms26

unlabelledView post →Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) Partially the second reason why I started this review thread. This film series. Even with all the flaws of this movie might have had, such as pacing, it still has the charm that it's contemporaries lack, largely being action dramas and horror slashers.

unlabelledView post →4.) COMPLETE - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (rewatch) *Significant* improvement on the first film. Bigger, more fun, and feels closer to the spirit of the Sonic games. Has maybe a couple too many detours away with the human cast, but the stuff centered on Sonic and pals hits all the right notes.
