A young athlete whose running days might be behind her, a compulsive liar, a shy researcher, a bitter old woman, and a little girl with a big secret—the only thing they have in common is the annual Wind Festival in Fula City. The festival celebrates the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, who brings the wind that powers this seaside city. When a series of threats endangers not just the festival, but all the people and Pokémon… From TMDB

[Long story short](https://youtu.be/7Fk6yDKhFR8): during the lead up to the English release of *Pokémon the Movie 2000*, Nintendo gave Warner Bros. permission to release tie-in products to promote it. Warner Bros. opted to commission Cyberworld International Corporation to create a short browser game to that end. According to Eddie Ruminski, an employee who kept the files and allowed…

unlabelledView post →5) Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle It's #PokemonDay, so I figured I might as well peep the final installment of the AU Ash trilogy. I know "it's just Tarzan" is obvious, but it's so blatantly Disney Tarzan at times that it's hilarious. 6.5/10, which is pretty good for a Pokemon anime film.

First time watching the anime in Japanese, and what a way to start, because the VAs were giving their all in this. Great stuff.

Also, I wish Disney+ will add Pokémon: The First Movie, Pokémon The Movie 2000, Pokémon 3 The Movie, Pokémon 4ever and many many more movies very soon. Why is 27 episodes? Pikachu's mad. #DisneyPlus #Pokémon #Pikachu

unlabelledView post →#78: Pokémon The Movie: Secret of the Jungle (2020) The final Pokémon film to probably ever be made and...it sure is Tarzan through the lens of Pokémon! You can do a lot worse for this film franchise to end on, but I just thought it was fine, especially compared to the last one.
unlabelledView post →{Sep 28} Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages - 4/10 This film raises a lot of questions. Like, why did those 2 retrieve a cursed object? How’d Team Rocket wind up here? Why do the legendaries assist Ash so easily? Why is Hoopa like that? Cool fight scenes, but not much else.
unlabelledView post →{Aug 6} Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened - 3.5/10 This was VERY dumb. Lotta focus on being flashy. Choices were made that really didn’t make a lotta sense. This film does not think highly of shiny Genesect either. Though, mega-evolving fem Mewtwo was pretty cool.

unlabelledView post →This movie gave me all the feels. I don't know why but it was so touching in several scenes that it made me tear up. I believe this movie is something EVERY child needs to see. It has great values: Friendship, Believing in yourself, and overcoming obstacles no matter what. Ash and Pikachu kinda take a back seat in this adventure which doesn't really damper the events as they play out. Sure Ash and Pikachu are involved but it's the secondary characters that are the stand out performers of this…
