neutral · AI labelView post →Went to see Song Sung Blue last night. Amazing. I was not prepared for how wonderful this brilliant little film is. Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson deserve Oscar nominations as a couple who are gifted performers and whose social world is filled with celebrity impersonators. What a ride!

neutral · AI labelView post →Let's start 2026 with a stone cold banger; Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman strike a blow for charismatic film stars in Song Sung Blue, out now in the UK, US and elsewhere. They play Thunder and Lightning, a Neil Diamond tribute act in this uplifting true story. 5/5 film-authority.com/2026/01/01/s...
positive · AI labelView post →Sooooo I got to go to the Milwaukee premiere of the movie Song Sung Blue. I interviewed some dude who was in it. youtu.be/txpY1hHLVzc
neutral · AI labelView post →Just saw the Song Sung Blue and came out of the movie to see this hideous sight 👺
neutral · AI labelView post →Song Sung Blue is real nice movie. That Craig Brewer knows what he's doing.
positive · AI labelView post →#NowWatching SONG SUNG BLUE (2025). Director: Craig Brewer. Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson. Jackman, Hudson, & lots of Neil Diamond music are featured in this biopic inspired by true-life married couple who became Milwaukee celebs fronting Diamond tribute band. #filmsky 📽
neutral · AI labelView post →This film surprised me more than any I’ve seen in 2025. Nothing like coming for a family musical and being dropped face first into Tender Mercies. Added bonus: Jim Belushi is every middle aged guy I knew as a kid growing up on the MN/WI border. #lastfourwatched #songsungblue boxd.it/clMUBt
positive · AI labelView post →The director of the original documentary SONG SUNG BLUE has made his film available on YouTube youtu.be/YDukMQIz1Sc?... It’s weirder, more raw and way more complex than the (very enjoyable) film with Kate Hudson (great singing) and Hugh Jackman. #songsongblue #documentary
neutral · AI labelView post →Song Sung Blue absolutely destroyed me 😢😭 I read the Housemaid so it was fun to see the film adaptation. Love to see a female protagonist in a martial arts film. Ayo Edebiri and sexy John Malkovich are a weird combo but I'm not mad at it. #lastfourwatched #letterboxd #filmsky
neutral · AI labelView post →while we're waiting for this dumb british election result, i want to report that i watched SONG SUNG BLUE last night, which is based on a true story, and the action takes place over something like 18 years of real-life time but her tween son in the movie does not get noticeably older at all

neutral · AI labelView post →I think it also stands out because the nominations are actually really tight, and a good representation. If you're among the 5 people who saw Song Sung Blue, you'll know Kate Hudson deserved that place, but I wasn't sure if she would because that film flopped so hard.
negative · AI labelView post →Christy @christylemire.bsky.social and Alonso @aduralde.bsky.social hum along to Song Sung Blue. #filmsky 📽
neutral · AI labelView post →Saw Song Sung Blue today because I unashamedly love Neil Diamond It is an objectively bad film. Awful dialogue. Truncated timeline makes no sense But ND songs bring up such strong memories and emotions that I still spent much of the film nearly in tears, unconnected to the film #FilmSky

positive · AI labelView post →I worried that my utterly confused reaction to “Song Sung Blue” (the most baffling movie of the decade) meant I was experiencing some kind of brain damage, but my swift disdain for “One Battle After Another” while everyone else glazes it has reassured me brain still work good
negative · AI labelView post →I'm a sucker for stories about niche, small-timer artists doing it for the love of the game (no one knows why), so I liked Craig Brewer's SONG SUNG BLUE. Also I'm happy to report that Kate Hudson deserved that best actress nomination.
positive · AI labelView post →SONG SUNG BLUE: This is a lovely little movie, if occasionally a little maudlin. I rolled my eyes a bit when Kate Hudson was nominated for an Oscar, just based on what I thought the movie was going to be, but I can get behind it now.
neutral · AI labelView post →#LastFourWatched Song Sung Blue was the last movie I saw in 2025 and it was fantastic, Hugh Jackman always shines brightest in his truest element( singing and dancing around) #LetterboxdFriday #filmsky🎥
positive · AI labelView post →For several years when I was the Culture Critic for The Week, I would watch every single movie nominated for any Oscar in a given year and rank them, and now I’m just sitting here imagining having seen movies like Song Sung Blue and Kokuho lol
neutral · AI labelView post →We realize that Oscar nominees feel pressure to campaign in appropriate, elegant styles, but #SongSungBlue star Kate Hudson's #BAFTAs gown was a little too sedate for her tomandlorenzo.com/2026/02/ee-b...
