I'm a huge fan of The Signal State and Retro Gadgets looks really cool 💜 www.humblebundle.com/games/progra...

I'm now working on CRT7 – an escape room where you decypher strange computers, unravel modified tape players, and unlock impossible doors.

We launched and won a Scottish BAFTA using these to make every one of the 180+ levels. The AI placeholder excuse is complete bollocks.

unlabelledView post →Solas 128 (from @amicableanimal.bsky.social): Since the demo, I really like the concept of that game, and the entire style of it. The music, the graphics, and even the puzzles are really cool. Only the last bonus ones were really difficult.

I'm Amicable Animal - I make neon soaked puzzle games when I'm not being a lecturer in Games Development. So far I've made #SOLAS128 (we won a Scottish BAFTA!) and I'm currently making #CRT7 - a mysterious and dark Myst-like escape room game with generative music. Watch out for more on 7/7 too. If you like mysterious puzzles, synthy music, retro tech, and other general weirdness, come say hi! 🧡

unlabelledView post →And to be clear I'm totally guilty of this too! I think everyone is, because it's fucking hard and emotional and personal to make things. But I also know SOLAS 128 would fundamentally be a better game if I had gotten over my own ego earlier in the design process, and I learnt so much from that.
unlabelledView post →Interesting! It reminds me of Solas 128, which I still think is the greatest puzzle game ever made.
unlabelledView post →Well... that's one way to make a puzzle designer tear up of a morning! 🥹 I guess you can give #SOLAS128 (or the new #CRT7 demo) the attention they deserve in just 7 days time? 💜🧡
unlabelledView post →What's that!? The multi-award-winning #SOLAS128 is now 50% off for the Steam Autumn sale? FOR A WHOLE WEEK!? That's like £5.69 or $7.50. (Also, please do wishlist #CRT7 while you're there, please and thank you) #IndieDev #GameDev #SteamSale https://store.steampowered.com/app/1257850/SOLAS_128/

SOLAS 128 sometimes you stumble upon a highly underrated puzzle game that just checks all the boxes for you. bit of space management, bit of ascertaining interactions and puzzle elements, bit of an interconnected feel to everything, some really cool music... it's just super satisfying
unlabelledView post →3) Spring Falls sparsegamedev.itch.io/spring-falls Manipulate the landscape and bring wildflowers to life on a peaceful mountainside. I had a really pleasant time playing this! It's not as deep as A Monster's Expedition or SOLAS 128, but it's not as casual as it looks, either.

unlabelledView post →Steam telling me that everything is on sale has reminded me that #SOLAS128 is also on sale! 50% off! Less than six quid for quite a silly (150+) amount of interconnected rhythmicly powered puzzles! Help fund the new hotness I'm making 💜🧡 #IndieDev #Puzzle https://store.steampowered.com/app/1257850/SOLAS_128/
unlabelledView post →I am properly excited with how far #CRT7 has come this year, especially for it being made an even smaller team than #SOLAS128. So, if you like arcade puzzlers, escape rooms, Myst, or The Room games a wishlist and/or boost would be a massive help! Plus, I think you'll like the game too 🧡
