60 of 164 · most liked firstSnooker Nation improves a little on the snooker mode in Pool Nation FX, but it's buggy, has few modes, and despite the crowd clapping and the referee counting score, it feels... soulless. What bothers me most, and is the reason for the thumbs down, is that Snooker Nation has been sidelined while the devs work on Pool Nation VR, which they released just one month after this one. There hasn't been any development on SN since then.

Cherry Pop's form for releasing Early Access games then quickly upgrading them to full broken releases mean that I cannot recommend buying. I will change this review should the situation change. A very polished early access game and it plays really smoothly. I highly recommend it if you love Snooker.

I like the authentic feel of the snookertables, the cues, the different area's you can play in, etc. It's Early Access which means I experienced some fatal errors and I think there's still something wrong with the achievements but I am confident it will be fixed ASAP. The game is really worth the price. You don't have any reason to hesitate.

Graphics are good and an improvement on pool nations graphics. I play at 4K amd it's a most satisfying experience. It's early days for this game. I expect more content will be soon added. Tried everything and nothing helps. I think it's an update or something happened that stops it working. Anyway - if you have Windows 11 I don't think you'll be able to get this to run.

It is still very much a DEMO, the company has not replied to a single comment in over a year on the development board. Its such a shame as it has great potential. The cue ball control is non existant for the player but is spot on for the AI. I played a game today (16th January 2019): I potted a red, then a blue. After the blue went in, the scoreboard said I had 1 point, and my opponent took the next shot. The game is fundamentally broken, over 2 and a half years after they were charging people money for the early release. It doesn't work, and I do not recommend it one bit. A rip-off.

Physics work OK, rules work OK, and it's cheap as hell. If you're looking for a huge active online player base or some kind of RPG progression for your snooker avatar then yeah, this isn't going to be for you. But I like it. It's relaxing in a snookery kind of way. If that guy asks for all mobile phones to be turned off one more time, though, there is going to be trouble.

No updates, no communication, no one online and no bugs being quashed. Shame really, as the community are great but dying away. Its fine for a practice play but not for a reliable complete experience. Im just glad I caught it for £1 when on sale and not full price like others did. Steer clear, as you have been warned.

I hit the 'Save & Exit' button. When I returned to the game and tried to continue from where I left off, I was astonished to see that all my progress for that frame was lost and the frame was started from the beginning. I was winning the frame by a good margin and disappointed to see that all my effort to win the frame was in vain.

I liked the overall experience: It's a good game. You can also get it really cheap during the sale. Sadly: It's stuck in early access for a long time.
