unlabelledView post →Growing up, when I saw "primitive" movie effects (such as stop motion in the Sinbad movies) I never cared about the believability. I cared about the human ingenuity, creativity and effort. That is why I don't feel anything but repulsion when I watch / see something made with AI.

unlabelledView post →it would be funny putting these two together where Phantom can't use his powers.... and he demanding payment in return? hahaha not this btw. I had to follow the original Audio from the movie Sinbad.

unlabelledView post →Ray Harryhausen spent months building intricate models and creating magnificent stop-motion effects for THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD (1973) and Caroline Munro stole the film simply by wearing a vest.

unlabelledView post →On this day (16th December) in 1986, the Scala Cinema was showing One Million Years B.C., The 7th Voyage Of Sinbad and Jason And The Argonauts as a Ray Harryhausen triple bill.
unlabelledView post →Big time marketing pros all envy my ability to effortlessly associate my work with the glamour of the beloved Sinbad/Schwarzenegger film "Jingle All the Way."

unlabelledView post →They didn't need AI to make the 1995 hit film and Sinbad vehicle Houseguest so I really can't see the point of it
unlabelledView post →Implement a 100% tariff and ruin a film. The 14th Voyage of Sinbad
unlabelledView post →ok two lovely people fulfilled this ridiculous request. tomorrow night i will be watching the made for tv film Club Med featuring Bill Maher and Sinbad (and posting about it.)

unlabelledView post →Watching The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad, the film that convinced Barry Letts to cast Tom Baker as the Doctor. It’s only taken me 53 years.
unlabelledView post →Harryhausen comes at last to 4K Ultra HD! Glenn Erickson reviews Sony's new 4K UHD of The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, praising the beautiful restoration while warning that the included Blu-ray is the older, un-remastered disc. trailersfromhell.com/the-7th-voya...
unlabelledView post →I think that was part of the Berenstein Bear collection. You know, before the universe was totally destroyed in 1993 after Sinbad made a Genie movie called Kazam. Shortly after the matrix reset itself.
unlabelledView post →Saw the Odyssey. A solid 3/5. The idea that it is somehow the greatest film of modern times is baffling. It’s a mumbling Sinbad re-run with a shite script but the atmosphere is built well, there are some great moments and it passes the time. Maybe cinema isn’t really for me 🤷♂️
unlabelledView post →#Watched Jingle All the Way (1996) - CHRISTMAS MOVIE #6 - Arnold and Sinbad rampage though Minnesota while Phil Hartman is the king of pussy-slammin’ suburban dads, all the yoga moms want his Christmas package. Terrible, but in the spirit of the season, 3 things I actually liked about this movie:
unlabelledView post →#watched THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD (1973) My favorite of Harryhausen's 3 Sinbad films, not for the creatures (7th Voyage is tops there) but for the best cast in the series. John Phillips Law makes a charismatic hero, Tom Baker is a grand villain, and Caroline Munro is Caroline Munro.
unlabelledView post →The Chainsaw Man movie mixes had drawn animation with CGI - just like Sinbad (2003), Treasure Planet ( 2002), Blue Submarine Number 6 ( 1998) , and Great Mouse Detective (1986)
unlabelledView post →I watched the Sinbad movie Shazam, don’t let them tell you otherwise
unlabelledView post →In watching an old movie today I have found the perfect words to put under Trump's photo~ "The torturer of truth." from Sinbad the Sailor
unlabelledView post →There is only one Mandela effect theory I believe in, and it's not the Sinbad movie or the Berenstein Bears, it's that this was the original color of chartreuse.
unlabelledView post →The “Sinbad was in a genie movie” thing is just a joke about confusing two Black guys who look nothing alike, right? That’s the epic LOL here?
unlabelledView post →what’s a movie where the villain totally steals the show?\ Eris in Sinbad, voiced by the same Michelle Pfeiffer
unlabelledView post →"Tiny Princess" from "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad" (1958). The film is distinguished by the music of Bernard Herrmann and the visual effects of Ray Harryhausen, both of whom were born on 29 June. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEh1...
unlabelledView post →Four fantastic films for this week's #LetterboxdFriday. Rope gets better with every rewatch and I think Golden Voyage might be my favourite Sinbad movie. The Hitch-Hiker and The Breaking Point were first time watches and didn't disappoint. #LastFourWatched
unlabelledView post →My review of the brilliant & empty NOSFERATU. "Surely we've seen the film already? Kind of a prestige-horror version of Sinbad in the non-existent SHAZAAM?" letterboxd.com/danielkraus/...
unlabelledView post →My Mammy written by Walter Donaldson, Joe Young & Sam Lewis was originally performed in the 1921 musical Sinbad and in the 1927 talkie movie The Jazz Singer. Rock-A-Bye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody was written by Jean Schwartz with Sam Lewis and Joe Young. #1 song in 1918 from his Sinbad musical.

unlabelledView post →I recognize the faces of most of these people in this movie but I don't know the name of anyone but Sinbad. But everyone is so funny
unlabelledView post →Sinbad should just make that genie movie everyone remembers him being in tbh

unlabelledView post →Kicking off the morning with JINGLE ALL THE WAY, a criminally underrated Christmas film. Superhero shitty dad Arnold? One of Phil Hartman's funnest appearances as Devious Neighbor, and iconic Sinbad. The characters and toys created for this film nailed the 90s-- I still want a Booster figure.
unlabelledView post →Heh. I have been on a Ray Harryhausen kick on Tubi lately. Watching all the Charles H. Schneer produced “Sinbad” movies, and such.

unlabelledView post →The people who talk about random scans of old 35mm films, and think that's how the movies are meant to look you should take as seriously as the people who swear to you the Mandela Effect is a real thing. Yeah yeah yeah man, I know, you remember Sinbad in a genie movie.
unlabelledView post →if you had asked me I would've sworn he already had one the same way I would've sworn Sinbad made a genie movie called Shazam

unlabelledView post →Saw some fun stuff during today's foray to the thrift shop. Ended up grabbing the Sinbad soundtrack and it was just as we remembered hearing while watching the film way back in the 1970s.
unlabelledView post →Watching 'Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger' on Legend. A deeply weird film in which most of what Ray Harryhausen has been asked to create is unusually large wildlife. (Which is, you know, fine but it isn't skeletons or a gigantic metal statue.)
unlabelledView post →I swear on all that is holy that I watched a genie movie with Sinbad in it in 1994. I know this because when the Shaq movie came out in 1996 I thought that this was a total rip off of the Sinbad movie. I’m just convinced that this entire existence is a simulation really.
