unlabelledView post →I know I’m absurdly late to this masterpiece but holy shit what a great movie. Outside of the horrors of all the PTSD and war, it was pretty neat to see how Silent Hill is inspired by this movie. Also, wow…. That’s one hell of a chiropractor forsure 🤣🤣
unlabelledView post →It's my takedown of the impressively awful Silent Hill 2 movie: RETURN TO SILENT HILL!! How bad is it!? And how!? And WHY??? The shocking answer (and my cleavage) lie within this almost-exactly 2 hour long video!! youtu.be/731tXqFP0Mc

unlabelledView post →I think a big reason Silent Hill 2006 looks so much better than Return to Silent Hill is down to the cinematography. The first movie was done by Dan Laustsen who has worked on Crimson Peak, Shape of Water and Frankentstein whereas Return to Silent Hill was by a guy who worked on the REC sequels.

unlabelledView post →The chemistry between Cybil and Rose in the first Silent Hill movie burns hotter than any underground fire ever could (also maybe it’s cruel to talk about things burning…sorry Cyb) thanks to @gruselzirkus.bsky.social for dragging me back to 2006 for vintage queer subtext
unlabelledView post →I still think about when I went to see the Silent Hill movie with friends and one of them fancied himself a game expert and we came out of it and this guy goes "They should've based it on Silent Hill 3, it's more standalone. C'mon, a whole movie in a haunted carnival?"
unlabelledView post →Started watching Return To Silent Hill. This is quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.
unlabelledView post →The 2006 SILENT HILL movie is good. I will die on this hill.
unlabelledView post →Return To Silent Hill is the worst film I’ve ever seen in my life & everyone involved should go to jail. It was such nonsense that the people in front hadn’t played the game & wanted a full explanation from me. Sad that this will be many peeps first & only Silent Hill experience.

unlabelledView post →For those who are getting into Silent Hill 2 lately, I have to recommend the film that inspired the franchise; 'Jacob's Ladder'. It's a genuinely creepy, unsettling, and heartbreaking film that will really stick with you and make you contemplate about life and death long after it's over.

unlabelledView post →Watched the Silent Hill movie last night. It's truly a shame that they were so incredibly faithful to the visuals, but Completely bastardized the plot. Film execs could never even think of approving a plot as great as Silent Hill 2s. Fun watch though. 6.9/10

Games like Silent Hill, Alan Wake, or even Link's Awakening wouldn't exist without his influence of dreams and surrealism in the creative space. RIP David Lynch o7

unlabelledView post →Silent Hill the film changed the game's protagonist from a man to a woman. Turns out, that changes the narrative a bit -- and in this case, that change was thoughtful and affecting despite the film getting poor reviews upon release in 2006. buff.ly/Mjfk2rI
