Shadow Force
Kyrah and Isaac were once the leaders of a multinational special forces group called Shadow Force. They broke the rules by falling in love, and in order to protect their son, they go underground. With a large bounty on their heads, and the vengeful Shadow Force hot on their trail, one family's fight becomes all-out war. From TMDB

But, as I've been writing it, I realized that I see so many shitty movies I spend way too much time trying to remember the shitty plot of Shadow Force (an actual 25 movie) I just need to also document my pithy

unlabelledView post →Very surprised SHADOW FORCE made it to movie theaters. Hope Omar Sy and Mark Strong enjoyed their Columbian vacations (and Strong doing his American accent), Kerry Washington works super hard in it, Jahleel Kamara is a delightful little boy, this movie was so cheap, I expected commercials.

unlabelledView post →Watched a movie on Amazon called Shadow Force. Kerry Eashington was in it. How did this get made?? The premise wasn’t bad but the story was horrible. It never went anywhere and the worst tropes. No action for an action movie. I wasted 100 minutes of my life. I’d like them back please.
unlabelledView post →I honestly thought Shadow Force was a streaming movie until I saw it listed at my local theater.
unlabelledView post →The irony of Shadow Force being theatrical, and Joe Carnahan's new film with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon The Rip being a Netflix film (maybe it will have a limited theatrical release). What a bizarre time we live in.

unlabelledView post →I'm at AMC to see SHADOW FORCE. Once upon a time, a new Joe Carnahan movie would have been a big deal, but there's not much hype around this one.
unlabelledView post →I'll be talking movies on "Radio From Hell" (@radiofromhell.bsky.social), Friday at 7 a.m. on X96. I didn't see "Shadow Force," an action movie with Kerry Washington. I have no idea what it's about or if it's any good. Good luck to those intrepid enough to seek it out. 3/3
unlabelledView post →So, "Shadow Force" is finally out on BluRay (YAY, MORE MARK MOVIES!!!) and it's on its way to me... but it comes with ID check??? What the hell, Amazon? It's not an 18+ movie??? 😐 Ah well. At least I'll be seeing the mail lady again. It's been a while 😂

unlabelledView post →Big step up from Shadow Force for Carnahan. Affleck and Damon are both great, banger of a third act and its a movie filmed primarily at night where you can actually see what's going on!

unlabelledView post →Also, I just grabbed these bad bois at the grocery store so that I'm gonna have something to nom while I watch the movie 😋 (I still have a whole bunch of other Mark movies to watch but "Shadow Force" is his most recent one so it'll be watched first!)
unlabelledView post →I had such a chill laid back Sunday that didn’t even feel rushed. Watched 3 diff movie genres: Nobody, Shadow Force (Kerry Washington did SUCH a good job as a badass special ops) and Priest. Also my honey bear changed the oil in my car and I made red beans and rice.
unlabelledView post →It's at least the best film of 2025 thus far about special ops agents who go AWOL and have a kid only to come back years later when they’re discovered. (Yes, there’s more than one.) My ★★½ review of Shadow Force (2025) on Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/9RAzg5 #ShadowForce #Filmsky #Letterboxd

unlabelledView post →Watching Shadow Force on Prime, a movie I saw advertised in cinema 3 times between late '24 & mid '25. Which never seemed to actually come out. It's weird start for a trashy action movie. I applaud it.
unlabelledView post →Yup, I thought Shadow Force was just okay. It wasn't awful or anything, just real generic. You couldn't pay me to watch that boat movie he made with Zach Levi though. I think you'll like The Rip, Dalia.
unlabelledView post →Shadow Force: Probably the sloppiest movie Joe Carnahan has ever made. This is such an generic and boring action movie that has an talented roped into an script with forgettable characters (including an annoying kid) and poorly executed action sequences, 4/10
unlabelledView post →I’m honestly clueless on this years Golden Globes as 2025 was a blur film wise for me. All I remember seeing was Sinners, Wicked: For Good & Shadow Force… or and Thunderbolts*
unlabelledView post →Seeing the 5:30 pm “Not Without Hope” at AMC Aventura 24 in auditorium 23 as movie 344 of 2025. Hopefully Carnahan is 1 for 2 this year (I walked out of “Shadow Force”)

unlabelledView post →#shadowforce was a good movie...I liked it.
unlabelledView post →Kudos to the person who applied Kerry Washington's kinky-curly wig in "Shadow Force" because that girl stayed put through fight scenes and a speed boat scene 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😂. The movie was giving "Mr.&Mrs. Smith" but with true love and a kid. Omar Sy is 🤩.
unlabelledView post →I know the movie isn't a masterpiece but I don't care, it has Mark, which means it's automatically a winner in my most important category, which is "does this movie feature Mark Strong". #ShadowForce #MarkStrong

I'm just a bit shocked it's getting such rave reviews. 🤷♂️ But hopefully folks will continue to support Sinners and Thunderbolts* this weekend and for a few more.
unlabelledView post →Shadow Force very much followed the action movie playbook, but it was still a fun and funny movie with some dope action sequences. Kerry Washington really needs to let the curly wigs w/ bangs go tho.
unlabelledView post →Idc what rotten tomatoes said… Shadow Force was a cute movie
unlabelledView post →What new movie is everyone taking their mom to see this weekend? Clown in a Cornfield? Fight or Flight? Shadow Force? (Hollywood clearly does not care about the moms). #filmsky
unlabelledView post →Shadow Force ⭐️1/2 "One can't say that the cast and crew didn't put in the work to try and make Shadow Force cohesive, as action is serviceable and Washington and Sy try to give it heart. The problem is that on a conceptual level the movie is a fluff supplementing adrenaline."
unlabelledView post →Shadow Force ✅ 2/5 Essentially a glorified Netflix quality action movie with a decent cast. Cheesy & weak plot, but Kerry Washington and Mark Strong can make anything halfway decent. Omar Sy’s performance caught me by surprise, with a good script I think he can be really good. #movies #shadowforce

unlabelledView post →I saw a trailer for Shadow Force and I had trouble remembering the name for it as it is such a dumb generic title. The movie doesn't look interesting, I am just shocked a studio green lit a movie with such a bland title.
unlabelledView post →Shadow Force looks like a good movie with a corny name. I almost didn't click on the trailer. Glad I did! Not Omar Sy with a Black family?! 👍 youtu.be/M7LhGytiHFM?...
unlabelledView post →#ShadowForce looks like the kind of action movie that would've been made by Albert Pyun (R.I.P.), and released straight-to-video in the Nineties to become a ridiculously popular cult classic thanks to more and more people discovering it in video stores and on cable. All of which is a compliment.

unlabelledView post →Almost done with the movie SHADOW FORCE on PRIME. I should do a letterboxed... This was a TV show pitch I think. I would make a better Prestige Format series. Some of the stunt work is sloppy and unpolished. Editing saves the film mostly. Much of the story is meaningless filler. I loved it.
