Saw III
Jigsaw has disappeared. Along with his new apprentice Amanda, the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Doctor Lynn Denlon and Jeff Reinhart are unaware that they are about to become the latest pawns on his vicious chessboard. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →Saw III. I have a specific thing for the film in the series where the direction team just decided to stop trying to make clever films with a horror twist and decided to cash in on putting absurd contraptions on tape.
unlabelledView post →My silly little random movie thing will be about Saw III at some point but I think it will actually be about the Zero Escape games. I should play one of those again, they ruled. Saw III doesn't rule.
unlabelledView post →After the absolute misery that was watching Saw III with @jazzpomegranate.bsky.social I made her watch Saw IV (a much better movie) and goddammit I forgot how funny the editing was. Also the ice block ending still is as hilarious as it ever is.

unlabelledView post →SAW III (2006) also known as "how it's made: saw traps". really more of a recap movie than anything but not a bad one even as the main saw trap is kind of pushed to the background. insane toxic yuri potential in this
unlabelledView post →Holy shit! The Saw III script is even more brutal than the actual movie. Both are cool, though.
unlabelledView post →I’ve already decided—I’m buying Saw III since it’s my second favorite Saw film.

Jigsaw and spiral on the other hand share the last place.

unlabelledView post →"Saw III" (2006) was an ok entry in the series. The deepening of the lore and the tie ins with Amanda to the first film were fun. Little twist at the end, of course. But, for fuck's sake. How convoluted and confusing can a plot become? Then, again: how about that "rack" scene 😳 5/10 snowballs ⚪️

unlabelledView post →#DendensMovieDen. No. 70. Saw III. For my thoughts on Saw II: bsky.app/profile/jcde... To this day, I still regard Saw as a great trilogy, afraid to venture further into inevitable sequelitis of diminishing returns. I’ll probably check out the rest sometime, especially with this movie (1/7)

unlabelledView post →Movie #37: Darren Lynn Bousman's #Saw III: The focus on a strained mentor vs. apprentice relationship and improved directing give this a cut above II, but it's continuing ugliness and cruelty still make it not suitable to be an above average sequel. My ⭐⭐1/2 review
unlabelledView post →74. Saw III It's crazy how this movie took three of the most fascinating characters the series had and killed them all off. Meanwhile, Slow Mother Fucking Ass Jeff is here. That said, Amanda's deconstruction of Jigsaw's ideals were fascinating.

Shawnee's wig was terrible and I'm pretty sure this is the last SAW movie they can use any of the actors, because age. But ironically, at his oldest, this movie was the most demanding on Tobin 1/
unlabelledView post →I watched Saw III last night. What a perfect movie when you treat it as the finale it was intended to be. It's not just Amanda's final test, it's John's. He bets everything on this final test. If it succeeds, his methods work. But they don't, because they don't, and everyone dies as a result.
unlabelledView post →Saw III(2006)* Score: 7.5/10 Very interesting narative a game participant choice in this movie, because Jeff and Lynn aren't bad people, they're just grieving. But that's what makes Jigsaw a great villain. He's evil even tho he thinks he's not

unlabelledView post →Saw III (2006, dir. Darren Lynn Bousman) this film is still partly a chore, the jeff side of the story is a slog and establishes a trap gauntlet formula that is done better later on in the series love the john/amanda stuff, it's like a demented parody of a father/daughter drama 6/10

unlabelledView post →68) Saw III (Rewatch) Weakest one so far and it's just cuz I cannot stand Jeff as the main trap plot character, he's unbearable and boring. Otherwise everything else about this movie, especially about John and Amanda is really interesting and works. Still, just a good, leaning okie movie.
unlabelledView post →Tbh for me, they should have ended it in Saw III. I think that was meant to be the final one—I haven’t read the Saw III script as the main reference because the movie gives small details that kept Saw going.
