Saw II
The chilling and relentless Jigsaw killer returns to terrorize the city once again. When a gruesome murder victim emerges with unmistakable traces of Jigsaw's sinister methods, Detective Eric Matthews is thrust into a high-stakes investigation. To his surprise, apprehending Jigsaw seems almost too easy, but what he doesn't realize is that being caught is merely another piece of Jigsaw's intricate puzzle. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →I meant to write this last Tuesday, for the 20th anniversary. Alas, my younger kids were (non-perilously) sick. That’s ironic or appropriate, considering the opening night of SAW II was the date-night movie of choice (her choice, natch) for the first date with my eventual wife.
unlabelledView post →#Moviesky Oh my God. Saw II is such a genius movie, like the first.
unlabelledView post →On to Saw II. Not the same director as the first movie but the writer from the first one is also writing for this one alongside this new director. I THINK I remember it still being good, but I might be wrong.
unlabelledView post →#DendensHalloweenDen Day 25: Saw II. The dreaded sequel of any succesful horror movie often forgets what made the original so good. Fortunately, Saw II expands on the same formula with a bigger scope and another killer twist. #31DaysOfHorror #CountdownToHalloween #DendensMovieDen #HorrorSky
unlabelledView post →Movie: Saw II (DVD) I did NOT expect to love this movie as much as I did. The traps were creatively disgusting, the twist was fantastic, and Tobin Bell and Donnie Wahlberg had amazing chemistry. This movie just may end up being my favorite from the franchise! #filmsky #horrorsky
unlabelledView post →So detective/murder mysteries are almost all trope, but one of my favorite trope that's legit a trope is Death Games. Squid Game, Alice in Borderland, and especially Danganronpa (and if you want to be strictly film, Saw II). I love all sorts of games, so taking that and twisting it always works.

We ended up settling on Saw, and she fukken loved it and is coming by on Saturday to watch Saw II. so. mission accomplished it would be ridiculous of me to even try and do the whole series with her. and yet

unlabelledView post →#DendensMovieDen. No. 68. Saw II. I haven’t a clue how many sequels Saw has by now. I can’t imagine them keeping the quality high, as it goes with just about every horror franchise. But I know Saw II still impresses with a bigger scope, and they did the smart thing to not (1/4)

Jigsaw and spiral on the other hand share the last place.

unlabelledView post →Finishing up “Saw II” and this is honestly a pretty good sequel to the first film. The needle pit scene is still difficult to sit through and so is the razor blade trap the lady sticks her arms up into. Although that one seemed to miss the point that you could technically beat these traps.
unlabelledView post →THE COLLECTION still fucking rips. Features one of the greatest horror movie openings, followed by a tremendously violent cat and mouse game that evokes ALIENS, SAW II, and HOME ALONE. One hell of a villain lair. Someone’s gotta get that 3rd movie out of limbo.
unlabelledView post →Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli. Oh, I so got this~ Saw II, the Ritual and the Menu were also contenders though
unlabelledView post →Watched Saw II I actually liked this one a lot. This is where the traps become more spread out. I like the idea of a group of people trying to escape from the house of traps, and I feel this does it well. Really good twist too. Also, I love Amanda's look in this movie.

unlabelledView post →i remember watching Saw II there and it showed a road traffic PSA which always made me laugh - there was something about the dialogue that was very Jam-esque. the person in front turned around to tell me “that’s not very funny” and like, if you think that’s bad you ARE NOT going to enjoy this film.
