60 of 79 · most liked firstSaw Duncan Jones’ new film ROGUE TROOPER last night @ London Film Festival. Find I’m mostly describing it as “beautiful” to ppl. It’s v particular combo of motion capture & computer animation (no AI!) builds the richest, most gorgeous movie “world” I’ve seen in years. I loved it so much.
unlabelledView post →do not get me started on ferguson in ROGUE NATION. in addition to everything else, maybe up there in the hottest a woman has ever been on film
unlabelledView post →🇪🇸 ESPAÑA! 🇪🇸 Way back when, SITGES was one of the first places to give our indie British sci-fi film MOON a chance on the International stage & Im delighted to say ROGUE TROOPER will be there NEXT WEEK! We love you, we love SITGES and we are coming BACK! 💪🏼❤️✌🏼 sitgesfilmfestival.com/en/film/2026...
unlabelledView post →First film of #LFF Rogue Trooper! Great start, wonderful to see a big mad sci fi film like this, hope we get more! Cheers @manmademoon.bsky.social
unlabelledView post →“Rogue One” (2016). Darn good movie.
unlabelledView post →The Rogue Trooper film by @manmademoon.bsky.social is excellent. I was fortunate to see it at the London Film Festival, tell your friends to see it when it gets released in March next year!
unlabelledView post →Oh my goodness! @mrbensmith.bsky.social @2000ad.bsky.social Rogue Trooper 2 panel wrapped blue gum for the film release!! 😂😂😂
unlabelledView post →ZARJAZ! Directordroid @manmademoon.bsky.social has delivered a movie of much Thrill-Power with Rogue Trooper, definitely one to watch out for when it gets released next year. Splundig vur Thrigg! boxd.it/gLhsqB
unlabelledView post →ROGUE TROOPER is beautiful, exhilarating, funny, very British and very loud (the soundtrack goes to eleven). The film pays respect to art and artists in a way that's very welcome right now. Big indie filmmaker energy. 💪 #LFF #Makers #FeaturedArtist #Animation #Comics 🇬🇧
unlabelledView post →Fantastic evening at the Prince Charles Cinema watching @manmademoon.bsky.social 's brilliant adaptation of Rogue Trooper. It is funny, exciting, thrilling and a rip roaring adventure. Go see it when it gets a cinema release! Great to hear there's a script ready to go for his next project 🤞🏻
unlabelledView post →Loads of people here mentioning Fury Road (and I agree), but I didn't see any mention of the Mission: Impossible films, which is insane to me. Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation and Fallout in particular are all stacked with some of the best action scenes ever put to film, IMO.
unlabelledView post →Do not miss a chance to see this brilliant film on a big screen! Duncan and his team have done it again! Rogue Trooper is so much fun and so deeply imaginative. As I've said elsewhere, it's like the comic books were fed right into the projector!
unlabelledView post →Blown away by the Rogue Trooper movie. Very privileged to hear from team behind it all, given tickets so scarce. Just hoping that more can get to enjoy it on the big screen. "Beautiful" film and thank you @manmademoon.bsky.social @2000ad.bsky.social . Much more like this please. 🥰
unlabelledView post →IMPORTANT: Am now able to tell you that the Rogue Trooper movie is REALLY good. And really funny too.
unlabelledView post →I was lucky enough to see a preview of @manmademoon.bsky.social ‘s Rogue Trooper” film last night. I can confirm it stays true to the original vibe with some evolution: 90% original 10% “War Machine”? Some great humour and dramatic/cinematic set pieces. Well done Duncan! We loved it! 🫡
unlabelledView post →Since universal century Gundam didn't canonically see mobile suit combat until Amuro got in the Gundam, it sucks that the live action movie they're making can't pull a Rogue One and end in the protagonists dying in Australia during Operation British.
unlabelledView post →Such a fun evening watching “Rogue Trooper” at LFF. Thank you @manmademoon.bsky.social ! My favourite bit was the flying foot.
unlabelledView post →Cinematographer Greig Fraser (Dune, The Batman, Rogue One): “Every day was the most complicated day. How do you capture a puppet without a face in a rolling circle with no gravity. Then there are stairs and steps to factor in. Everything was a challenge, but an awesome challenge.”

unlabelledView post →(Highly recommend Tansy Gardam's podcast Going Rogue - I've learned so much about film production & the film industry from listening to her, & she has really valuable insights on how the final product of every film is a culmination of lots of tiny creative decisions & logistical factors.)
unlabelledView post →Huzzah! Going to see Rogue Trooper at London Film Festival. Managed to find a ticket on second attempt
unlabelledView post →One nice thing, if you watch Rogue One after the 2 seasons of Andor it becomes a much better movie with all the deep backstory. W/o it the movie was only ok.
unlabelledView post →In honour of Duncan Jones’ brief return to London for the UK Premiere of his new movie Rogue Trooper, he should take this badge and go claim his rightful title of the Duke of Bromley.
unlabelledView post →#NowWatching Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (the best Star Wars film - don’t @ me) #starwars
unlabelledView post →Geeking: The lead designer of the first Death Star put the vulnerability in there on purpose. (ref: "Rogue One", which I think was actually a pretty good movie.)
unlabelledView post →Managed to get a ticket for Rogue Trooper at the PCC tonight as part of the London Film Festival. It's good fun with some hilarious moments (not surprising with that cast!) but it does take a while to get used to the visual style #LFF
unlabelledView post →Also I think the lead actress is going to play Rogue in the reboot so I'm interested to see her again. Because she has a very different vibe from Rogue in this film. Hope she can get that accent down, as I believe it's important to her character, a small part in why she vibes with Gambit so much
unlabelledView post →... this tangents into my belief that Rogue One is the most unnecessary movie ever made. There are exactly two things in Ep IV it adequately explains, the rest you don't need, and Leia's ship clearly being at Scarif makes it dumber, and it LOOKS INCREDIBLY GOOD THE WHOLE TIME.
unlabelledView post →Rogue Trooper has its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival tonight! As a fan since I was a kid, getting to design the sound has been a dream come true. A joyous playground, and we’ve made a hell of a lot of noise! Huge thanks to Duncan, Stu and the Bens for having me on board! 💙
unlabelledView post →To me, an episode movie is a core movie as opposed to Rogue One, Solo, or Mandalorian and Grogu.
unlabelledView post →It’s not even limited purely to the sequel trilogy - I’ve seen similarly nasty stuff lobbied over Rogue One, Ahsoka, Mando (ESPECIALLY the Mando movie)… I just really find it irritating when hatred against creatives is “normalized” within fandom in this way that’s not constructive or friendly.
unlabelledView post →The ROGUE TROOPER movie (which is dedicated to the people of Ukraine!): Diane Morgan, Hayley Atwell, Matt Berry & Jermaine Clement are all fun, there’s decent use of The Animals, & the 2000AD covers over the credits gave me pure nostalgia. But you certainly can tell it was made using Unreal Engine.
unlabelledView post →I can’t get over Diego Luna’s performance in Rogue One. There’s loads of subtle details in the film that make sense after Andor. But the show did not exist then. Is he a time traveler?
unlabelledView post →There's a Rogue Trooper film coming out!
unlabelledView post →someone being able to hate a franchise BUT love one of their movie especially the first movie of a franchise or a spinoff, they don't have to be incredible but if you're capable of forgetting that a movie is part of a bigger thing it's interesting The Fast And The Furious Rogue One
unlabelledView post →I find Duncan Jones very uneven as a film maker. Moon was good. Source Code was weak and World of Warcraft was terrible, so I'm intrigued to see how Rogue Trooper fares.
unlabelledView post →It's like the Star Wars universe and the lightsaber and watching them up the ante with each film and even shoehorning it at the end of Rogue One in the name of fan service. And what was the best film/series since Ep. 5? Andor, and there was barely even a lightsaber mentioned in the entire run.
unlabelledView post →so yeah i watched all of Andor which led directly into Rogue One + have ended up watching every Star Wars film. just starting The Rise of Skywalker and then i'm going to have to watch the dogshit fucking prequels because not completing the full set will Agitate me more than watching three bad films
unlabelledView post →137) Rogue One: Chirrut & Baze 1 > Good take on title duo and nice art. It was thankfully not written in margins of the movie. Sadly though, I think the story they went with was just okay.
unlabelledView post →2016 was a decent year for games. (Maybe film too. …okay we got Rogue One at least) Everything else? Not so much.
unlabelledView post →#Inktober Day 12 #MissionMonday Rogue Nation. I did do this movie last year but had to do THIS image!
unlabelledView post →I feel like I have Changed my mind On First Person games . RoboCop Rogue City ...to me felt like Playing the 3rd Movie we should have gotten after RoboCop 2 And Currently Hellrasier Revival feels like the movie We should have had After 2 . I have been playing Mirrors Edge : Catyslit Too .
unlabelledView post →You clearly didn't read 2000AD comic and worship Rogue Trooper back in the 80s the way I did as you'd know the spelling. Plus there's a Rogue Trooper film being released by Duncan Jones (Bowie's lad), currently showing at the London Film Festival. Rogue Trooper share.google/vTUviCvesMJT...
unlabelledView post →Tbh it will be a cold day in hell when I finally get fed up of edits of the rebel fleet arriving at Scarif in Rogue One (the best Star Wars film)
unlabelledView post →As a very long time fan of Rogue Trooper, I am glad you got to make this film. I know I will have to wait a little longer to see it in Canada, but if I can wait a few decades, a few more months should be a breeze.
unlabelledView post →I wouldn't say I have a favorite movie, but Alexander was the only film I couldn't finish due to the experience being so insufferable. Also Rogue One. I despise Rogue One.
unlabelledView post →someone suggests a Top Gun-style movie in the Clone Wars and hngggg (I know about Rogue Squadron).
unlabelledView post →That's good. It'd be nice to get some good Robocop again that isn't the game Rogue City, its standalone expansion, or the Rifftrax'd version of the pilot movie for the 90s Canadian Robocop TV series.
unlabelledView post →Rogue One has some banger set-pieces, and it's a decent enough war movie in Star Wars cosplay, but while it's fun to watch it after Andor, doing so also really underlined to me how thin and overhyped I think it was.
unlabelledView post →Have shown the kiddo the original trilogy, prequels, all of the Mandalorian + the movie+BoBF, Rogue One, Solo...and now we're finally tackling the sequels. Have had to repeatedly lower his expectations that some of these loose-end questions would ever be tied up, let alone tied up satisfactorily.
unlabelledView post →A major deal for the @2000ad.bsky.social faithful, but now that Rogue Trooper has premiered in the UK at #BFI London Film Festival - what did someone less familiar think? Read more from Alex here: thegeekshow.co.uk/rogue-troope...
unlabelledView post →#FILM #REVIEW Rogue Trooper 'it's quirkiness may put off a wider audience.' ⭐️⭐️⭐️½ #LFF #LFF2026 thereviewshub.com/bfi-london-f...
unlabelledView post →I saw Rogue Trooper — So funny, perfect 2000AD film!!! #CultureBlocs
unlabelledView post →I'm 56 and only once have I involuntarily exclaimed out loud during a film. It was Rogue One when the Rebel fleet comes out of hyperspace above Scarif and the Star Wars fanfare plays. Perfect combination of nostalgia and state of the art filmmaking.
unlabelledView post →#LFF If Rogue Trooper had to be an all-CG movie, Tintin-ifying it on a budget and on Unreal Engine is not an unfitting way to go. As closely as Duncan Jones nails the Brit comic spirit, though, his nerd ambitions remain too big for his britches. Neither funny, mad, mean nor satisfyingly gory enough.
unlabelledView post →Every time I see any mention of Rogue Trooper my stupid brain reads it as Rouge Trooper which would be a very different movie, but I'm really looking forward to seeing this once it finds its way to Canada. Hopefully in the near future.
unlabelledView post →Just realised, #StarWars only has 3 permanently mutilitated good films, another good film stitched together with reshoots that half works (Rogue One) and two brilliant seasons of a live action series (Andor), everything else is absolute garbage
