22 of 22 · most liked firstIf you have played Roads of Rome I or II you know what III is pretty much all about. ROR III is a time management game that centers around repairing/building the Roads of Rome. To start the game there are four modes: Relax, Easy, Normal, Hard. I choose to play on Normal and had a nice challenging game that wasn't too easy and even though a few of the levels were pretty hard it wasn't overly hard. As you begin playing you must decide how best to use your workers to gather supplies and build…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short version: 35% Roads of Rome 3 wanted to do something different but just broke most of the time management mechanics. With its questionable balance and difficulty curve, it can satisfy only the most undemanding enthusiasts. Long version: Roads of Rome 3 wants to bring something new. Something that shakes up this simple time management series. It is an amicable decision with a terrible implementation. The story is about a barbarian horde invading Rome and setting half the countryside on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely the most difficult part of Roads of Rome. In this game we face the barbarian invasion and try to rebuild roman infrastructure. To rebuild anything we have to first stamp it out. To do this we will need new resource - water from pump station. In this game we have 43 levels to complete. 40 basic plus 3 bonus levels for completing every level in expert time. Besides, we can play on diffrent difficulty levels (3 or 4 - don't remember ;p). There is some new buildings to construct plus all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just like number 1 and 2 but with the added mayhem of babarians invading causing a lot of lovely chaos for us to fix:) Now it offers 4 different dificulties. Love it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little time waster/clicky game. I'm on my third play through. Definitely takes some strategy to get the best time on each level in the later levels of the game. If you like clicky games, you'll like this game, if you don't, you probably won't.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have anjoyed all of the Roads of Rome games. Fast paced and fun to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is an ok time management game clear the road type of game that is pretty much the same as the previous 2 games. It sadly still doesn't have an option to queue or cancel tasks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So there I was, in the middle of Episode 1, Level 5, moving through at an ordinary, everyday, somewhat leisurely, going-through-a-tutorial pace, when suddenly I hear that super-annoying "tick tock tick tock" sound, then look up to see "Expert Time Expired". Ex-freaking-SCUSE ME??? Apparently, it's not enough for these developers to add three brand-new, never-before-seen-in-any-Roads-of-Rome-game concepts in the same level, in addition to reintroducing three previously seen concepts.. It's not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More Roads of Rome goodness. If you like the first two, you'll like this one. Runs great on Steamplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →meh, not enough variety in the levels
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, same as the previous ones. The Vikings attack Rome and now you need to rebuild the old ones that you built in ROR 1 game. Fun and definitely Recommended!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Harder than the first 2 games, but still good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →episode 1 level 10 there is not enough gold to complete the level.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ROR III is a game - greb
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →probably the weakest roads of rome of the 3 (or maybe it's just me playing through all 3 in 2 days). Has a very steep difficulty curve right at the end for expert times and I hated the added water resource but hey, it still more of the same so still gets a thumbs up
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of my favorite games in this Genre. I've bought and played other versions of this and they're missing something, I'm not sure what.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you like multi-tasking games and problem solving this is the game for you. Only thing I hate is going through the tutorial every time I start a new game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game crashed my system twice...
