It doesn't feel like your working from the bottom. there's no actual customization of the bar like you would expect from a simulator game like hand placed items. All the customers just order beer doesn't matter what type it is its all the same. its just static upgrades. there's potential but i wasn't impressed in the first hour i played. i think this should have just stayed as a dlc for gas station sim as intended.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it was about 2/5 stars for me i liked gas station sim so i thought this would be a cool back story of uncle but it was not story is kinda boring with the same game loop after about a hour its more of just standing waiting to gain hype maybe i will try it when a DLC comes out all in all i beat the full game in about 3-1/2 hours
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →100% complete in 5.5 hours lol. Game is decent but it's really not worth anything more than $10. Play their game Gas Station Simulator, it's much much better
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, thanks again for the key. 💙 I got the chance to play Roadhouse before release, and honestly, I had a lot more fun with it than this list of bugs might make it sound. :D I played a lot of Gas Station Simulator and have followed GSS for quite a while, including the original plans for Shady Deals. Because of that, Roadhouse felt familiar almost immediately. The menu, HUD, some sounds, and several gameplay systems clearly remind me of GSS. In this case, I actually think that works…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would have loved this as the Gas Station Sim DLC it was originally promised to be. Way to short, the upgrades are boring, the gameplay is just, eh.. Definitely not enough going on for a standalone game. No live music? Not even a jukebox? No pool or darts? Big kitchen but no food? No options to change the look of the "roadhouse"? The super lame "fuel" deals are really the "shady deals" that Uncle built his wealth and crime family on? Totally bummed, I love GSS and was literally counting down…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So it's quite short and monotonous, I finished it in ~4 hours (left it open overnight after buying it so that's where the 16h comes from). To understand my issue with it, lets compare it to a game of these guys I absolutely loved: gas station simulator. What is great about that game is that you had a couple of places to manage that felt significantly different (the garage, the carwash, the pump, the shop, clearing sand, dennis), which broke up the other tasks pretty decently, there was also…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The short answer is that is boring, short and very repetitive. If you are after the management aspect, even light as seen in Gas Station Simulator, forget it, making money is ridiculously easy, and you'll spend more time restocking vending machines than tending the bar, which is only used to serve beer, rather automatically, and later on, homemade moonshine. It is very disspointment, and quite honestly, I don't know if any additional content can fix this, the problem is at the very core of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun game, but there’s *barely any content*. Finished everything and unlocked every upgrade in about 4 hours. Hitboxes are a bit wonky in some seats, so occasionally you’ll accidentally hit someone and suddenly anyone near is throwing hands. 💀 Would’ve loved a kitchen too, it could’ve added some much-needed content. I paid €15, but honestly, that feels a bit steep for a game you can completely finish in 4 hours. After the first couple hours, most mechanics feel so automated that…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All territories conquered and all upgrades purchased in less than 5 hours. 5 hours of gameplay for $20 is a hard ask, even if the mechanics are decent enough. Avoid, unless you can snag this for $5 on sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think it's good just a bit too short. Without trying to speedrun it, I finished the whole game in a bit more than 4 hours. When I bought it, I thought that it would be longer, maybe matching gas station simulator in length and depth.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having enjoyed the Gas Station Simulator, I figured this would be just as good. Sadly, it was not. Earning money isn't much of an issue so all of the extra fluff mechanics to earn said money is very trivial. The game just feels rushed and not very engaging. As others have said, it's also very short. You can have every upgrade and finish the "story" in just a few hours.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just not it.... was hoping for Gas Station Sim but better... but this is much worse....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →absolutely beautiful game. first Gas station, and now this. i really enjoyed so much! hope the feature and DLC upcoming will be added in future!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun and feels/plays exactly how you'd expect from a DRAGO game especially if you played Gas Station Simulator and the DLCs with them, but this game feels like a bit of a let down and extremely repetitive. The gameplay loop is basically - Serve Beer > Slap Customers/Fight > Repeat. The game lacks content, lacks decorative features and in general feels like your an employee working at a bar with miserable customers that sit there cluelessly rather than building up a bar from the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So just finished the game, I know this started as an intended DLC for gas station simulator in its current state it should have stayed that way its feels like just a over priced demo not even a early access. It has potential to be good game but with the lack of costomization, further expansion, story it feels like a water down version of gas station simulator. The police system seams weird and the mini games like moonshine is too simple it could have used more depth like a recipe system with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was hoping for a worthy successor of Gas Station Simulator, but the game main loop here is terrible. All you need to do is to serve beer -> wait for money and influence -> buy upgrade -> restock glass because they'll smash all of them when you raise Influence (they needed to put some money sink somewhere). Customers will simply wait forever until you serve them, no skill checks, no real management features. Just pour beer and throw it to customers. Maybe more feature will become available in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good bar simulator game, nice atmosphere. You can organize pig races. What else do you need?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot at this time say this is worth its own title release. This could have been a Gas Station Simulator DLC and nobody would have minded. This is a bar sim, I use that lightly because you only have 4 options for beer. 1 option for shots. And nobody cares what they are drinking so go nuts and load em up. The fuel is a neat little outlaw thing to do but it gets repetitive even if its only a 10-15 seconds thing. There is no time limit for serving the guests, it lacks a good service bad service…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →is it worth the price? no the game feels more like a dlc without the main game as this game was originally supposed to be a dlc for gas station sims.. you can pretty much finish the game in one sitting and it just gets repetitive. The employees can use a boost like there isnt a level up system for them like in gas station. The bar keep cant keep up with the orders and those hype girls are completely useless... there is very little gameplay here.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice... concept I guess? But it starts getting very repetitive after just an hour, and two after two hours it feels like you've basically seen it all. I'd wait with this game until it's gotten a lot more content.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ugh, being a #solodev is tough. Been about 2 years of dev on my RoadHouse Manager game, the only roadhouse game, then last week a big studio, Drago, announces Roadhouse Simulator and gets 6x my lifetime wishlists in their first week😬😬, & releasing same Q3...At least the gameplay is much different🍻
unlabelledView post →Played for an hour and beat the game. very upsetting. Buy Gas Station sim instead
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun bar simulator with story elements that makes it less repetitive than other simulators. You can also have pig races and concerts, boxing rings etc. The game has a good pace towards progress unlike other games of this genre. Here you can check a first look at the game without getting too many spoilers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8xc_20Ipc4
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will currently give this game a negative review even though i did enjoy playing it. First off, the lack of content is very dissapointing, finishing a simulator game within 5 hours is kinda crazy, i also find it lackluster in some aspects like having a cap of customers, not being able to put prices yourself, not able to hire multiple staff for 1 position or even them getting faster over time, the serving employees are actually very bad, even with 4 taps running they just click 1 on and wait,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gas Station Simulator is the game that got me into simulators. I have played COUNTLESS business sims. This one is garrrrrrbage. There's zero downtime. The customers will be there always and will always want beer. But that doesn't matter because there are no consequences for not serving anyone. They'll wait forever and they also don't care what kind of beer they get. Beer is beer. Even though you get a bonus for having unique beers.... some kind of unidentifiable bonus. Hype, I assume. I don't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐♥♥♥♥ I had high hopes for this one, but after playing, I'm just thoroughly disappointed. It feels like half way through this, the concept became too much for the devs and they started to resent it. They've also confirmed there is no multiplayer option planned, which is a shame. Don't waste your time. I came here because of their other game Road Diner (currently in demo), which is so much better than this that I'm shocked it's the same dev team. I suggest checking that one out instead. This…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this. Sadly I did not. Purposely waited several days to try it hoping bugs had been fixed. Ran into a bug only a few minutes in. Yeah not for me. It just felt very half baked. Gameplay and all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is basically what happens when running a bar turns into a full-time chaos management job. One minute you’re pouring beers and trying to keep customers happy, the next you’re breaking up a fight, dealing with shady people or somehow getting involved in pig racing. It can get a little repetitive and there are definitely some rough edges and bugs, but the whole messy Route 66 vibe makes it surprisingly fun. Not the deepest simulator out there, but definitely a good way to waste a few evenings…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I couldn't even get an hour into this one. I found it very shallow and boring. It feels unfinished, unpolished and full of bugs. When developers beg their own customers to report bugs on every update, it really annoys me. I don't work for free and I should not feel obligated to help you fix your game....I am the consumer, I pay to play the game. Glady, I can choose to get my money back.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was expecting a lot, based on previous experience playing Gas Station Sim, but this missed slightly. It's incredibly repetitive, easy to become a passive bystander to the whole game with the employees mechanism. 4 hours to finish the whole thing whilst playing casually, wasn't worth it for me, considering a lot of it is repeat mechanisms from other games. Couple of bugs (condom vending not working, persistent shot glass missing error message), no customisation possible, whole place was so…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think the game has a lot of promise however, From start to finish there is only currently 6 hours of gameplay. While the game is fun during those 6 hours, it is still buggy and missing a lot of replayable content. I understand it is in early access but I don't think it justifies the current cost. I do look forward to content updates down the road. I want to reiterate that the game is FUN!!! but it's just lacking heavily in the content category. I will be keeping an eye on this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Been a big fan of their Fuel Station Simulator and had pretty high expectations but it feels pretty bare bones compared to their other title. A few things I've noticed in my current playtime: - The "Fuel" system seems lacking explanation as to how to actually use this system. I've put the "Fuel" in the hidden stash but no idea how to use it to deliver orders. - The Barkeep staff seem lame? In their Fuel Station sim, the staff seemed more alive in how they go about their tasks where as here…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good game l love it soo much l will sure recommend it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very little content. There is basically no resistance in progression and some features, like the entire backyard thing, feel very disconnected. You just run around, serve beer and slap your customers. At this point in time, definitely not worth the money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh. Expected much more. Gas station simulator is one of my favourites in the genre and this just feels like someone else tried to copy it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good but also a bit repetitive and short. There is a good base to build off of and I look forward to additional updates.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I finish the game game within 5 hours only, more like DLC's Dlc. Its a simulator game yet there is no reason to continue after finish the story
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game, but currently too short, and needs more customization (the decorations are a nice start, but it's still difficult to make the place look like your own. Changing the walls, for example, would be a good step.) I'm giving it a thumbs up because I genuinely enjoyed playing it, but I hope to see it grow in the future, because I don't think it's met its full potential- needs more content!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →why can I walk through an entire piano? why is there no customization? :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This team is VERY good with simulator games. They mix in a little bit of story, as well as great, addictive gameplay. Gas Station Simulator was unbelievably good, and I think this one is equally as good, however, this one unfortunately seems to have a lot less content than Gas Station Simulator. I don't quite know if they have plans for much more content, I hope so though. Gas Station Simulator has a lot of content, but I seem to have gotten through everything in this game, with only three…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lot of fun overall. Way too short for the price, I went slow on purpose and still only got ~5 hours. Still recommend if you're into this style of game though
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I do like the game, but I was able to finish everything in 6 hours while the game costed $16 (on sale). So I didn't even get an hour per dollar spent. It's enjoyable and the game play is fun, just so very short. I feel like $10 would've been a better price for this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a ton of fun. I wish it was a little longer and maybe some more customization but all in all this was fun. I would recommend it! Lot's of Roadhouse the movie inspiration. Great game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has promise, but im giving it a negative. Enough is enough with the fullscreen default bullcrap. Not only that, but the game is missing a resolution selector. So your forced to restart the game after getting out of fullscreen to get the resolution correct. ---- No i did not play the demo or prologue for Roadhouse simulator. ----------------------------- Gameplay wise. its kinda fun? repetitive with filling drinks. garbage bin in the back is a bit of a pain to throw kegs into. but…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5 hrs and was always wondering when I would get a band up on that stage. Never did.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely aweful preformace. Game runs on 1FPS on low settings.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was REALLY excited for this game because I played Gas Station Simulator and wanted to see the Uncle's background. Game was very fun, but I beat the game in less than 6 hours. I know that Gas Station Simulator had a lot of DLCs that added more content to the game, and I'm wondering if this is the developer's plan, which if so, that's pretty money-hungry of them. At this time, I would not recommend buying unless it's on sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is more annoying then fun. Despite being present in gas station simulator the ability to turn off side jobs you don't like is not present and the "fuel" is very annoying. I also don't understand the cop at all, why am i being fined for having dirty spots? especially seeing as how the bar is full of dirty spots that you can't get rid of. And the cop just shows up randomly? And apparently getting in trouble with the law makes you less popular with your surrounding outlaw gangs which…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although I do agree with everyone saying that 4 hours is too short, the fact this is a simulator and not an RPG is enough to give it a pass. However, there is a lack of content for after the story ends, which is bad for a simulator. We need more things to unlock and more things to do once we have a full employee roster. For the price, I would recommend it overall, but if you're hoping for another 20+ hour Gas Station Sim experience, you're not going to get it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you played Gas Station Sim to a good extent, you'll beat all content available in this in about five hours. There's not really any optimization, and there's a lot of shortcuts. Seems like it was made very quick. The effects of beers are all basically ignorable, the unlocks happen too late to really matter, and the only inconveniences are when you trust your employees to do things in a proper manner, they tend to get confused. 'No shot glasses' being a permanent mark seems like an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Same good old Gas Station Simulator with slightly different (yet fun!) mechanics. Well, devs are not hiding that the game is from the same universe so everything fair and square. If you love Gas Station Sim you prolly already won't miss that game. If you are new to the series - prepare yourself for fun for a few evenings. Just turn off your brain and get to work!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game was very well made. Unfortunately, I found it repetitive. Sadly I refunded. Just wasn't the game for me!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you loved Gas Station Simulator, you'll like this, but you will eventually love it. Gas Station Simulator will be acronymned to GSS. This is currently a very short game, I beat it within two weeks with some casual playing, and I had fun even with it being so straightforward. GSS was the same way when it launched, and after years of development it is such a content heavy beast I can't recommend it enough, it scratches a great itch and I've got several friends to play this. Roadhouse…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its ok. Can beat the game in less than 5 hours. Needs more to do. More customization to the bar. More activities. Hire a house band. It was a decent play but not sure if it was worth the money yet.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastically Rated gameplay loop, Reminds me of gas station sim in a few ways but with a big few changes that really give it its own style Love this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its fun for what it is, but im actually shocked by how little there is to do. I had everything unlocked and automated, and finished the story in about 5 hours. and then tried to ♥♥♥♥ around for a while but there is just nothing to do. And you cant really get creative with decorating or layout either, as there are hardly any options. They have a ton of wall decorations that you can only put in certain spots, but thats it. im only recommending this because i think it could be a lot of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes it was fun for THE 6 HOURS it took to finish it. If your looking to kill a day then buy this but I would wait for more content
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →**Fun, chaotic, and just unhinged enough.** If you’ve played and liked their previous titles, you already know the exact brand of weird charm to expect here—and you will definitely enjoy this one. Managing the place goes off the rails in all the best ways, and the core gameplay loop scratches that simulator itch while keeping things absurd enough to stay entertaining throughout. The **A BIG downside** is the hours played vs the asking price. You are looking at a hard cap of around **8…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Roadhouse Simulator was fantastic—easily one of my favorite games this year. It constantly had me running around, but in the best way possible. As a former bartender, I loved how well it captured that feeling of always keeping your head on a swivel, juggling tasks, and watching for the next thing that needs your attention. The humor is what really makes this game a gem. I found myself laughing out loud throughout the playthrough, and it just felt good to have that much fun with a game. The…
