20 of 20 · most liked firstI would recommend Rayman legends if it were not for the issue of Ubisoft Connect. When I got the game I already wasn't comfortable with the idea that I had to create an account on Ubisofts website just to play the game. I ended up making a account and was able to play it none the less. Fast forward to now when I try to launch the game, I get a notification from the Ubisoft Connect side saying the the server is unavailable. I tried restarting, tried unlinking and relinking the accounts. And even…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An incredible platformer disgraced by the slop-slinging ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a company that is Ubisoft. Literally unplayable without making some garbage third party account for their bloaty datafarming service.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT BUY THIS GAME ON PC. Not only is the online completely removed, even though it's still up for the console versions. But the PC port is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥, you gotta use the Ubisoft Connect launcher, which itself is annoying, but there are also graphical issues everywhere that no posted solutions can fix. Toad Story is now capable of killing an epileptic person for example. These are issues that aren't in any other version of the game. Incredible game, but if you are considering buying it, get a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Over twenty years ago, I played the Rayman games as a child. Over ten years ago my brother and I played through Origins and Legends together. Now I’ve come back to the game, this time playing with my two children. A timeless masterpiece, wonderful in every aspect. Thank you, Michel Ancel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of my favorite Rayman games (and 2D platformers in general) but don't get it on Steam, it comes with a virus named Ubisoft Connect
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the game and it was a big part of my childhood, but if you want to play it, just emulate it. Ubisoft and their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher don't deserve your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fantastic game and id recommend it to anybody but youre locked out of playing without a ubisoft account so thats not fun
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't started playing yet and I know I’ll probably enjoy this game a lot, but I’m leaving this negative review anyway because: 1.The first thing you see on the store page is: “Notice: This version of the game will only be playable in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.” Like… why do you even care where players play from, Ubisoft? Region-locking an offline 2013 game is just cringe and unnecessary.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥ you ubisoft, I can't even play the game unless i want to buy it twice due to your ubisoft launcher and steam errors
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is great but the user experience is the worst I have ever came across. When you buy the game you need to create a Ubisoft account which I can barley excuse. when you create the account it asks to verify your email but not the password for some reason and you can not view the password to check if you entered a letter wrong which would have been excusable if there was a confirm password like you do for the Email. and the password was wrong later when I tried to press forgot password…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dear Developers - I want you to know. You provoke peapole to use pirate games. Almost Every time I launch the Reymand for my Son - it struggling to connect. So why should I pay for this pain - better hack it as it deservs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →every console i've owned i have 100% completed this game but for whatever reason this version is unable to connect to the online servers leaving 2 achievements impossible to obtain reasonably. after beating the game completely you'll be halfway to 1 million lums but without the daily challenge the only way to get the rest of the way is by playing a level again and again over 700 times. and even after that you still won't be able to win a game of kung foot cause you can't play with anyone else.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game because I used to play this on my Xbox 360 when I was younger and wanted to get a taste of the nostalgia, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. A great, low stress game that is both easy and fun to play. The movement is both very simple and smooth that doesn't require a lot of effort to master, and the art is very pleasant to look at. However, please for the love of god DON'T try to 100% it. The "Sooo rich!" Achievement is not worth the trouble. It requires you get 1…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To think this will be the last Rayman game because Ubisoft sucks mega balls, penis, taint, and hole.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best Rayman game there is, amazing art, very good soundtracks, easy to 100% in achievements (just takes a lot of time), totally worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rayman Legends is a great game. I've played it twice through now, once on Wii U and another time on Steam. The game feels a little bit more natural to play on Wii U because there are certain challenges that use the Wii U gamepad. However, the Steam version works fine. The game is colorful and interesting, and the music (especially the end of world music stages) is great. A nice quality of the game is that it includes many of the Rayman Origins stages in addition to the newer Rayman Legends…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of my favorite childhood games, I would absolutely recommend playing this.. However I cannot in good faith tell you to buy this on Steam. Its completely broken. Everytime I start the game and try to even create a save, I get " Error during load, you will lose your current progression" I've spent days troubleshooting absolutely everything from creating a new user on my pc, editing my registry keys, and many more 'fixes' to try to get this game to work. I would love to play it again... but…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic platformer! The level design, graphics and music are all superb. There are also a lot of levels. So you're getting a lot for your money spent. I also like that there is barely a story. I feel like some video games get caught up too much in world bulding etc. and can't just drop you right into the fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best rayman game by far, fantastic soundtracks, amazing artwork, even more fun than Origins
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would recommend it because it is one of my favorite childhood games but dealing with the Ubisoft launcher and requiring access to the internet in order to play it is ridiculous. I got it to play on my Steam Deck during trips and you can't play it with no internet (Single player btw)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best game to play with friends, especially the football mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun platformer for adults and children alike.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A absolute gem. Rayman legends and origins are different games in comparison with the original titles. But they are still awsome gemes to this date. I am super excited for the remake that will release on october 1st. I am 100% ready
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game for a share. Platformer that never gets old. Super fun to play with your girlfriend thats not a gamer too lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is awsome. I bought it on my switch a couple of years ago and I loved it. I bought it on steam expecing it to be as fun and it was not. There's a weird launcher that you need to go through in order to play the game. This makes the loading process much slower. And because there is another launcher, you cant play offline. Thanks a lot Ubisoft. Rayman is a really good game. Ubisoft is a really bad company.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After playing Rayman Legends over and over again years ago on the Xbox 360, the newly added achievements finally brought me back - this time on Steam! And what a nostalgic journey it has been so far. This game is an absolute masterpiece. The level design, the music stages, the animations, and the sheer attention to detail are just as magical today as they were back then. It’s one of those rare games that feels timeless, bursting with creativity and charm from start to finish. Revisiting…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →REALLY FUN GAME W COOL ARTSTYLE AND AMAZING SOUNDTRACK ,, too bad chud ubisoft made it require 3rd party software and internet connection to play this offline game. you should pirate it instead :3c
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With Rayman Legends Retold looming on the horizon, I decided it was high time I tackled the original title, which had been gathering dust in my Steam library. Marking my maiden foray into Rayman (if I don't count the Netflix show where he snorts cocaine and eats sushi served over an anthro cow lady), I plugged in my controller to ascertain whether the hype was justified, given the immense acclaim showered upon both Legends and Origins. My verdict is that Legends is indeed great, splendid…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →even though i prefer origins this game is still crazy good............... you give me this game and i guarantee you i will not stop playing it until i at least finish the main stages
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, it's a good game. Like every main stream Rayman game. BUT.......Its my least favorite out of the main 5. Cool concept. I just Prefer, Oragins, 1, 2, and 3. Also FK you Ubisoft for that 1million lums achievements and then shutting off the servers. Which was the fastest way to get lums. had to farm that ♥♥♥♥ taking 20x longer. You Achievement enjoyers like me will see what i mean. 7/10. Its good. But not my favorite. But i appreciate them adding the achievements to…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the BEST and i mean THE BEST rayman game out there. its fun, the levels are great, the mods are peak and everything about it is so unique and creative. i love this game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful game. One of the great golden classic platformers, and co-op to boot. It's a must-play! Now, you're definitely gonna play it, but should you buy it here on Steam? Probably not, not for thirty bucks or whatever. It's a classic, but it's a friggin PS3-era game. Ten bucks or less would be my metric. Also, this Steam version has a bunch of BS attached to it that (presumably) you wouldn't have to deal with if you decide to grab a console version instead. It used to require…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ubisoft is trash. If you can never purchase anything from, don't do it. They are criminals, and should never be given money. Emulate if you can. F*ck Ubisoft.. they are a garbage company, and don't care about your gaming experience.. never ever buy from Ubisoft, they are awful!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rayman Legends has nice graphics and smooth controls, but overall it feels overrated. The gameplay can get repetitive after a while, and the story is basically non-existent. Some levels (especially Murfy ones) are more annoying than fun, and the game relies too much on simple platforming without much depth. It looks good, but it doesn’t stay exciting for long.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rayman Legends is an improvement over Origins, but there's still a lot to complain about. Starting with the Ubisoft Connect launcher... It's painful. I thought that by connecting it to my Steam account would always keep me signed in. But nope. For every other Ubisoft game I try, I need to sign in to it again. What if I forget the gmail and password? I'd be doomed. I already had troubles getting in with this game. The game features tons of online features and content and whenever I tried to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still one of the best platformers of all time; even with the Murphy levels feeling unintuitive on anything other than a Wii U.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is 2026, and this game is still great to play with kids. My sons love it, and since it is not very clear from the game menus and interfaces, you can play regular missions locally with multiple players, not just the "Kung Foot" mode as I first thought. Animations are great, sound is incredible, I can't recommend this game enough if you want to spend some quality gaming time with your children.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Only leaving it a negative review because although the game itself is good, ubisoft has done some extraordinary ♥♥♥♥ with it. On steam deck if you decide you want to change the trigger controls, you can't, and not only that, the game stops functioning properly with them. To fix it, you have to reset it, which can only be done by deleting some of its internal data from the deck's desktop mod (already f-ing ridiculous). But that also DELETES YOUR SAVE DATA WITH NO WAY TO GET IT BACK IF YOU DIDN'T…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best game I played in my childhood and I would say it's still a game that's def enjoyable for people of any age
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of my all time favorite games but this port is kinda horrific needs uplay, controller support is a mess even with steam input's assistance, game freezes (lockup), servers are gone making '100%' impossible without mods the rayman series really needs all the help it can get but youre better off playing this on console unless youre still just living the simple windows 7 life with an xbox 360 controller as for the actual game: im not in to 2d much but when i first played this game i…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A classic platforming game that never gets old to reply. Played it at least 3x on various consoles and steam. I wish Ubi would get their act together and make a new entry in the series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really like the mechanics, the music levels and how I've played this game for my whole life and I still find the game relatively difficult. Maybe just my own skill issue
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've just beaten the game, and am on track to 100% it. Rayman Legends is just about the perfect platformer. I say that with 100% sincerity. It's a great buy at the frequent discounts it gets, and you'd be a fool not to purchase it. The rest of the review is just talking about this being better than the predecessor. -------------------------------------- I had some issues with Origins that left me thinking it was a good, but flawed game. Legends fixed just about every issue I had with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is very sad that the online servers have been shut down, but this game still holds a special place in my heart, as if I'm my younger self again playing the game on my dusty XboX 360. The vibrant, whimsical art style and simple, yet challenging at times, gameplay make it a timeless classic to play alone or together with your loved ones locally! Aside from the Main levels, the game also offers select stages from Rayman Origins, to either relive the nostalgia or just simply take on a new…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although Legends visually and in terms of gameplay, it builds on the previous and successful Origins, but at the same time expands on them. The use of 3D elements adds a sense of depth and the new fairy-tale world seems much more playful and dynamic. Everything is balanced and fine-tuned with meticulous precision. The plot remains similar. Rayman's friend Bubble Dreamer is having nightmares again. Fairy-tale worlds are being invaded by evil monsters who are kidnapping little wizards called…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm fully convinced that the music levels in this game kept my depression at bay as a teenager.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It´s good but for some reason I lost my save game of 3 years ago and it says I can´t use my Xbox controller but I can use with no problems
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy ♥♥♥♥ man. Im a ginormous Rayman fan and as of writing this, I still think this game is the best in the Rayman series. I personally love this game with all my heart. Its oozing with charm, personality, and just overall love. It feels so freaking good to move around in this game like as a speedrunner, it just feels amazing to chain together stuff to go as fast as possible, and the game realized this. There were literally challenges you could do (when the online services were still up)…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game: (95/100) a perfect game plagued by ubisofts incompetence to do anything right. apparently no controller support (linux + steam controller). no steam cloud save. and a remake not a single real rayman fan wants. do not give these incompetent ♥♥♥♥♥ your money. there are plenty other ways to experience this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good and It's quite nostalgic for me, having played it many times on PS3 a decade ago. This is the third or fourth time I've finished the game, it's a lot of fun! such a shame that the online challenges don't work anymore though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rayman will return June 2nd 2026
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice charming game after years i finaly 100% it! i first played it on wiiu but never finished it so its pretty nice to finaly be able to say that im done with Rayman Legends :) its a super good platformer i really love the movement its really beginner friendly if im being honest it is at times too easy i would definitly give it a 8/10 atleast!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic game with an anchor around its neck called Ubisoft Connect.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Requires Ubisoft launcher, which causes various issues for me. Rayman Origins does not require it. EDIT: Was able to get Ubisoft Launcher working in combination with Steam Link, so some updates. Positives: * Game is beautiful * Good platformer * Kung Foot is a fun, although simple, mini game Negatives/Annoyances: * A lot of content is no longer accessible due to requiring servers that Ubisoft shut down a few years ago. * Various notifications that you can't get rid of because they are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rayman Legends takes the amazing artstyle and gameplay of Rayman Origins and Ups it to 11. In general, the game looks fantastic, it's artstyle is gorgeous and there are so many great details hidden in the background and foreground. Each level is so enjoyable and the game is so much fun to play, with Rayman and friends movements being perfect for a platforming, the game is a joy that never feels tiresome. Collecting everything feels natural and not a grind, and the included back to Origins…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best platform games ever created. With a colorful level design, delightful OST, silly humour and a solid gameplay that has been polished after being first featured in previous game Rayman Origins, Legends definitely is the peak of Rayman's 2D entries and promises a great time to any fan of the franchise or any fan of the platform games in the hopes of a new great game to play. Take the role of Rayman or any of his friends and enjoy many hours of fun saving the Glade of Dreams from…
